Met my husband here and it was always a great time; receiving the commemorative glass, visiting with the wine companies and learning about the manufacturing of the various wineries. This year, 2015? We received a 2010 glass; the entry gate staff were unfriendly and some wine vendors were apathetic and/or ignorant about their own product? PC moved it from the football field to the Clor center. The crowd was the smallest we've seen; we really want to support our local festivities but not at these prices for a sub-par experience.

Your ticket to entry also comes with tickets to use for wine tastings and food, of course you can always buy more tickets too. I'm not a fan of wine, but they had so many different kinds that even I found a few I really liked. They had a band and a dance floor, and trust me, by the end of the night, you'll be dancing too. We were supposed to go this year, but already had plans.....booo. It always the 2nd weekend or so in August so hopefully we can make it next year!

On our last trip I was looking for something fun for a couple of 11 year old boys to do on a cold day and found this place online. It was super clean, well organized and lots of fun. I think 11 years old was probably the top end of the age range unless you were doing laser tag or virtual golf but we had fun. Like I said I have been to a ton of these places over 15 years and was very impressed with the cleanliness and efficiency of this one!

I get their are rules, and you are not going to catch everyone but, others were doing the same and even pointed out by one of the owners while we were talking yet said absolutely nothing to them?? We have never felt she was not welcomed at a place until we tried to celebrate her bday at Quake. Such a sickening feeling as parents. We never had this issue at Max Air. I'm just glad she doesn't have the understanding to know what happened, to feel unwanted so she could still attempt to enjoy her bday.. Again needed to add this edit due to the lies of this company. First we were never told that we could move to bigger trampoline and continue to jump assisting my daughter like in the video. In fact I had to demonstrate to you in the adjacent bigger trampoline how I was jumping like in the video and was told that wouldn't work. Second in your video of rules we watched I did nothing close to depicted as double jumping or jumping too close to a smaller person as clearly seen in the video below. I was very gently assisting my physically handicapped daughter to jump. Absolutely nothing dangerous in that. Shameful and shady of a company to respond with lies instead of facts. Then to suggest that I'm putting my daughter at such dangerous risk to her safety is a joke. Much like how this company has responded to this whole thing.

It was an eye-opening experience for me to learn that the atomic bomb, which was dropped in Nagasaki, Japan, was manufactured in the Hanford Nuclear Plant. It's an eyesore to see how history reveals the human ego repeats. At the same time, it's great to see that there are tons of efforts offered to sustain Mother Nature.

One focused on the geology and natural history of the Reach. Then the transition to the Hanford Project is punctuated with a movie. The second gallery was one focused on developing nuclear energy and the elements needed for nuclear weapons that would be the focus of the Cold War. It's like an orange on a toothpick." ***** [I'll explain why I felt like the kid in "So I Married An Axe Murderer" later. On to my Yelp....] I remember coming here once before years ago when a science heavyweight was in town giving a lecture. Tonight? Tonight I was here to watch a movie....errrr...or should I say film. Yes, I was here to see a French film ("Summer Hours") thanks to the Battelle Film Club. Note: they show this movie on Fridays, and for some reason I'm always pooped on Fridays after a busy week. So, next time, I'll need to remember to caffeinate or pick a more action-packed film. ADMISSION: a whopping $3 CROWD: auditorium was surprisingly full, and of the blue hair variety WHAT: Every other week or so, the Battelle Film Club does it's part to inject the Tri-Cities a much needed dose of cinematic culture. The Auditorium is fair. I actually liked it's style. I'm a child of the '70s, and something told me this place was circa '70s. The film we watched was projected digitally and from a DVD. The screen is a little small, so I grabbed a seat in the front. "You're not going to sit in there with a hat are ya, sonny?" the older lady asked behind me. "Really? You're going to sit in the front row with a hat?! People don't do that?!" she implored again. "What? C'mon it's just a baseball cap [it's not an Abe Lincoln!]. No one is sitting behind me and the movie starts in 30seconds!" I replied back. Wow, it's been a while since I've been scolded by an elder like that. It was kinda interesting and made me feel like a kid again. But seriously, I felt like the kid with the big head that a Scottish Mike Meyers berates in "So I Married An Axe Murder"! At any rate, the Auditorium is cool. The movie selection is generally above average (better than the rubbish at the local multiplexes), and they serve refreshments and discuss the movie after the show.
