What an enjoyable experience! The class setup was excellent, with ample room and neatly arranged cooking utensils for easy food preparation. I appreciated that the instructor handled some of the more laborious tasks before we started cooking. He prepared ingredients in front of us, sharing interesting facts about the cuisine and demonstrating excellent knife skills to ensure freshness and engagement. The 90 minutes flew by as we learned various techniques and explored different ingredients. The instructor guided us through each step, from managing the cooking flame to perfecting our knife skills, ensuring a well-prepared and delicious final dish. As someone who has no experience in the kitchen and was very scared of cooking, the instructor Alex made sure everyone was at ease and would walk around to help as needed. I'm eager to attend more classes here in the future and bring along some friends to share in the experience.

Today I had a wonderful time taking the cookies 101 course at the Wilton school. It was a one-day…read moreclass that lasted from 9 AM until 4 PM. Our instructor was very helpful and took us through various stages of decorating eight different cookies. The Davie again with having the teams work together to prepare royal icing in different shades and consistencies. Once when you got that in play then we started with decorating our cookies at various levels. For this class we did not have to bake the cookies. They came prepared and ready and all that we had to do was learn the proper techniques for applying royal icing and we're given our supplies needed and could even keep the supplies that we used to take home after the class. I will definitely be taking more classes at the Wilton school. All of my questions that I had were thoroughly ask. I was not a beginner royal icing student. But I did ask questions that were a little bit more complex and regardless of the kind of person that I had I was met with a smile and an appropriate answer. If you have any doubt about whether or not you should take a class at the Wilton school, do not hesitate. They are great! Added some more photos of either cookies that I made from their designs or ones that I took their technique they taught to the next level!

The cafe is tiny and there is always a long wait. I almost walked away when they told me it would be a 40 minute wait but another lady in line leaned towards me and whispered "trust me, it's worth it." I was honestly surprised at how delicious and unique all the dishes were. I've never seen "brothy beans and pancetta with country bread" on any menu before. I don't really eat beans and wouldn't dare order something like that at any other restaurant. But I sure am glad I ordered it here. It was perfect like everything else we tried.

The vibe is quiet elegance we are in the Midwest after all. Outdoor seating is always a plus. The menu selection is limited for breakfast but enough for the basics. Food was great, we had the peach pancakes and gravlax(salmon) platter. Both quality especially the salmon which they were generous of. Until the food came out, and the bees came swarming in and totally ruined the vibe. They didn't bite, however they were intimidating. Thus the 3 stars.
