My family and I traveled back to our hometown in Ohio for a funeral. We wanted to have some fun to cheer us up and we got in late, so this was the only place open later on a Sunday. We were so happy that we could let go and have a nice time together for some affordable bowling and some good food. The bartender was very helpful and she gave great service. This is the best wing spot in Elyria. I am not a huge wing guy but these are very good. They have great size, crunch and sauce. They take care to place them in a tin foil boat to hold all the extra sauces for the road so they don't dry out. I have only ordered takeout but it has always exceeded expectations. They have a plethora of flavor options with sauces and dry rubs. They also have a kitchen that makes food better than the other bars in town. I ordered the tater skins and were surprised they were homemade. Most other bars in elyria give you frozen crap they fry or reheat. Not Cookies! I will be coming back more and more. read more

I live in Elyria and never knew about this place until my neighbor mentioned how good their wings are. My husband and I decided to try them and ordered bone in, boneless, and some fries for take away. They have a really phenomenal sauce selection and let me tell you, these wings are the truth. They're huge, juicy, crispy skin, & just delicious. It was a LOT of food. The fries were outstanding too. We'll definitely order again and I can't wait until the COVID shut down is over so we can bowl too! read more

My friends and I came into Cookies at about 10:00 last night, looking to sit down and eat. We were kindly told that the kitchen was closing shortly, so we began to leave. Shortly after we made it out of the door, a manager angrily ran out and wrongfully accused us of stealing darts. My friends and I understood that this was a misunderstanding, so we were respectful. However, despite our cooperation, she called us a variety of obscenities, including "white trash," and threatened to harm us several times. After going back inside to show her that we did not steal any darts, she continued to berate us and threatened us again. Cookies has been one of my favorite spots in the past, which is why this interaction is so surprising to me. I am not frustrated about being accused of stealing darts, as I understand that my friends and I fit an age group that makes us suspicious for something of that nature. However, I am appalled with the way that the manager chose to handle the situation. I will not be returning to Cookies in the future. read more

we've eaten at cookies before and found the food outstanding, but this last time we were very very disappointed. after raving about them to our friends from Florida and instead of taking up alot of space inside this intimate little bowling alley with 13 people, we ordered take out. we should have taken up all the tables inside because the food was nothing like our prior visits. i wont give gory details cuz i really love this place and hope it thrives after all the effort put into reviving it. it just must have been an unfortunate off-night for them. it'll be a while, but I'm sure we'll be back. read more
