This was my first time here and I had asked how big the quesadillas were I asked if they were tiny like a taco or if there were about the size of Taco Bell's quesadilla. The girl said they use 12 inch tortillas. So I figured OK one should be good so I ordered a chicken quesadilla and onion rings. I was extremely disappointed when I got the quesadilla that was no 12 inch tortilla more like 7 to 8 inch, it was a size of a taco. So it's definitely not worth the price and it's not filling at all. The service here is really just...bad. I totally get it's fast food and you're not making a million bucks and it's hard work- I've been in the window of a fast food chain on my tenth hour before and I've never been not nice. I mean genuinely I second guess myself pulling through sometimes because you feel like a burden ordering there. Sometimes they just look at you and don't say anything at all, nothing. I'm like the most polite guest, I'm also super polite, thank you at every turn, super patient/ it's not an easy job fast food. worst food I have ever had. burger was smushed and seemed to be missing half of the meat. literally half the bun was empty. the ratio of liquid smoke to burger was not well adjusted and as a result, the bathroom at the Walmart is forever sullied. if I could give the food zero stars I would still give it one star simply for the laxative effect as I had been a bit constipated prior to eating their sorry excuse for a burger. read more

The food at Cook Out is pretty good, but their service is AWFUL. I got 3 trays and they got 2 of them wrong. On one tray, I asked for 2 chicken enchiladas and got cheddar bites. On another I asked for NO SLAW on my pork BBQ sandwich and sure enough, I got slaw on it, which completely ruins the sandwich. Worst part is that I didn't discover any of this until I got home, which was way too late. DON'T go through the drive-through. They couldn't care less if they get your order right. If you're going to eat at Cook Out, dine in so that they're accountable for getting your order right. read more

Continue let's begin with the service there wasn't any. Ordered a hotdog. They decide how much condiment you're going to put on it not you. Taste it like something you get for free at a carnival disgusting order two shakes they were given to another party. When I requested they be remade I was told "yes we can do that. I asked why wouldn't you automatically do that I didn't get an answer . You would think after that kind of screwup they would expedite it but no six other people got served and orders taken before us. The Cajun fries are good. The milkshakes aren't terrible. This place use to have awesome burgers when they first opened many years back. When I moved back looking forward to eating at what use to be a non-greasy, freshly made burger all I got was an over cooked burger. Giving this place the benefit of doubt I came back a few months later thinking maybe it was just one bad experience but it was the same over cooked burgers all over again. So if you're looking for good fries and a good milkshake then this is the place. But for a great burger taste, you're better off cooking it on the grill at home yourself. read more

Cookout in Morristown has gone downhill and isn't nearly as good as when they first opened. I ordered an Oreo MINT milkshake tonight that barely had any mint taste and had absolutely no green color at all. I've ordered mint flavored shakes from there for YEARS and they have always been GREEN. The one I ordered tonight was not. I told the girl at the drive thru and she informed that they aren't supposed to be green and it's just a light mint flavor. Since when????? She offered to remake it for me but it was exactly like the first one. Just Oreos no mint. I won't be back to Cookout they suck. read more

Used to be an employee at this particular CookOut, I used to eat here all the time before I started. I will never go back! The kitchen staff drop fries and hushpuppies on the dirty floor and still serve them. They don't use gloves when making the shakes, and don't clean the shake machine at night or in between uses. The tea pitchers had mold in the nozzles and weren't cleaned at the end of the day. The bathrooms are disgusting, I wouldn't touch them with a fifty foot pole. They aren't cleaned at night and most likely aren't cleaned during the day. The kitchen staff cuss and yell and it disturbs customers in the lobby. Cashiers goof off in the back and leave customers waiting to order, sometimes for a good five minutes. Customers have had to wait fifteen minutes or longer on a shake because the staff goof off and don't acknowledge that they have a shake that needs made. The worst part of it all was that the general manager and the district manager witnessed this all and did nothing to stop or change it. If you are thinking about eating here or working here I strongly advise you not to, I'm not a bitter ex employee I'm an employee who was disgusting with the restaurant I worked for that claimed to be a high quality place to eat. read more
