I love me some Cook Out! Our first experience with Cook Out was in Asheville, North Carolina and it was completely by accident. After that, we did research to find the nearest location to Dublin, GA and it was in Statesboro (at the time) so we had a road trip JUST to have the Cook Out. I was sooooooo excited when I was driving through Milledgeville and saw this new baby pop up! They have the layout of the menu pretty simplified. The best deal for your money is to get the tray. This trip I went simple and got the burger with a corn dog and a chicken quesadilla and upgraded to a blueberry cheesecake shake. All for $5. You seriously can't beat it! You can also get the burger different styles like "cook out style," "cheddar style," "steak style," and "out west style." The meat they use has great flavor and really does taste like it has been on a grill. If you order onion rings as one of your sides, be warned you only get like 3 or 4. You can choose to double up on them though. My momma got a burger with chili and onion rings. The chili is pretty good, but I didn't care of it by itself. It's good on the fries, especially if you add cheese. The possibilities of combinations are endless! So far my favorite is the cajun chicken sandwich, chicken quesadilla, and fries. I've doubled up on fries before because they're that delicious. I've had the chicken nuggets before; they're nothing special, but if you have kids, it's a good option to have. Same for the corn dog. I guess there isn't too many ways to spice up and cook nuggets and dogs. I've also had their bacon wraps and chicken wraps (cajun style) and I enjoyed both of them. Keep in mind that if you get it as a side item to your tray that it is just that, a side. It has lettuce and sauce and whatever meat you choose.

The 3 stars is reluctant. I was hoping for better service. The place is obviously new, but they still haven't worked out the kinks. The burger appear fresh formed, but smaller than the bun which leaves for too much bread/meat ratio. Don't like that you have to pay extra for tomato and cheese, cheese maybe. Ordered with cheese and tomato, however did not get cheese and tomato. Returned to ask it to be fixed, was informed that it was extra. I explained I requested cheese and tomato. They re-made sandwich, still no cheese and tomato. I don't get it? Anyway, place was clean, I hope they work out the service and communication issues. Order accuracy is important to the overall fast food experience.

Burgers, hotdogs, quesadilla, and more for $1 each. You can't really go wrong. Even $4.99 combos. Insanely cheap. The food is good enough.

The menu is a skeleton of what it once was with a handful of our favorites now gone. (shrimp tempura appetizer, cheese curds, onion rings and the Philly is gone) -1. Burgers remained and I ordered the double smashed patty black and blue. I use to get their blue cheese burger before and it was good but I'll hand it to the chef. This burger was superior to what I received here in the past! They have changed the fries as well which is a blessing. We ordered one side of fries, because of past experiences, but these were very good. My wife got the patty melt and said it was very good as well although she misses the Philly. Overall a good experience and we will return. Hoping they consider bringing some things back if enough customers request.

Richard Martin was playing on stage and singing some Weezer, Oasis, Johnny Cash, Sublime, etc. We order a couple drinks, an appetizer and an entree to split. First off, the drinks were delicious and pretty. Good job! We went with the 3 appetizer sampler. I think it's called the Pecking Plate. We decided on the hummus with cucumber and naan, the onion rings and a Bavarian pretzel with cheese dip. 1. Hummus - Delicious!!!! Everything about it was excellent. 2. Onion Rings - they looked amazing, but they were VERY bland. 3. Bavarian Pretzel w/cheese - the pretzel had a hard top half and a soft bottom half, I'm not sure if it was how they heated it up, but it was weird. But, the cheese dip was excellent. In fact, we ended up dipping the onion rings into the cheese dip. For the main course we heard the burgers were very good so we went for a Shroom & Swiss Burger with a side of Chili Queso Fries. I was very hopeful for some outstanding fries!!! So, the burger was absolutely delicious. It was well seasoned, VERY juicy, toasted bun, good cheese and shrooms! The fries kinda missed the mark a bit. They were pretty old tasting fries, I think if they were fresher my final opinion would have been different. But the chili had good flavor. And it looks like the person dumping the cheese forgot his glasses. lol! Overall, I'll give the entire experience a 3 star. They had some high points and some low points.

Since I hadn't the opportunity to get here (DoorDash isn't contracted with PNC. And, when I was still driving, there were too many places to go to), it was, a last minute decision. And, I am certainly glad of it! Though, considering it was, 12:40 when we arrived, it wasn't very crowded. I think, being a Tuesday afternoon was the reason. Had it been the weekend, or after work, it would have been a different story. Now, I gotta admit, paying $13.00 for a Double Mushroom and Swiss Burger with natural cut Fries, is a bit high imo. BUT, considering I have had nothing to eat since finishing the meal at around 1:30. The burger was delicious, and satisfied my cravings for a M&S burger. The fries were good, but not very hot. And, not heavily salted. Service was excellent! And, the waitress was very nice and, attentive. Unfortunately, she didn't have knowledge of the alcohol content of their Draft and IPA beers (the names definitely sounded woohoo), I went with a Peach Margarita. Now, I asked for a Traditional one, but got it, On the Rocks, instead (not sure if she misunderstood me. Or, if PCB doesn't serve them). It was potentially good.

Had the size of the drumettes more consistent (some variation is expected. But, nearly double the size of a few of them???), I'd given 'em 5 Stars. But, alas, twas not to be.
