We were able to rent a huge storage unit (and a UHaul but we didn't need one) over the phone that is accessible 24/7 and has great security for a great price. I stored no food in my unit. Upon emptying my unit I found dead mice and mouse droppings in my…read moreunit. After unpacking most of my boxes, I've found that many of my boxes have mouse droppings in them and some of my belongings have been burrowed into. Anything that wasn't covered or storages in plastic has been affected. Nothing was offered to me for compensation upon the company learning about the infestation in my unit. I understand that in my rental agreement the owner isn't held liable for damage to belongings. However, this was overall a horrible experience. Do not store your items here, especially through the winter as I suspect the mice came from the field behind the unit and made their way in to get warm for the winter.
