I first had a phone call with Nick to get an overall understanding of what I was looking for. Then, I went to their offices in Downtown San Jose and met with members of their team. Each person came prepared with a few opportunities that matched my interests. In the weeks after, Mark and Kayla introduced me to various companies, and after each call or interview they would contact me by phone to ask me how I felt. If I did not feel like the opportunity fit me, they did not pressure me to continue down the interview process. They were also helpful in giving me tips on how much salary I could be looking forwards to, what my experience is worth, and if my experience was enough to apply for various senior positions. In the end, I went through the entire process with one of the companies that I liked and had a good fit with and received an offer from them. Although in the end I did not go with the offer that Jobspring helped me get, I appreciate the opportunity and would recommend my friends to use them if they want to look for other jobs. Mark, Kayla, and Nick were definitely the most friendly and personable recruiters that I spoke with, and I had contacts with a couple of other recruiting companies as well. They weren't pushing their own agendas on me, and listened to me.

I was first contacted by Arika who told me about an opportunity that she thought was a good fit based on my resume. The interview process was exactly as described. Arika answered all my questions. When she didn't know an answer, she was quite clear about this and referred me to Mark. Mark is a manager and he has been fantastic. He has been available as needed and has made sure to give me regular updates on the current status of the opportunity I applied for. We've talked after each part of the interview and Mark offered' his candid assessment based on my description. It is very nice when an opportunity matches the description provided on first contact and when the process goes exactly as described! In the end, an offer was made to me. I am looking forward to starting my new opportunity and offer a sincere thanks to both Arika and Mark for their help in making this happen.

I was set to work a contract position for 6 months at a non-profit and was specifically told the number of hours constituting this work period that I was to work. Three months into my contract, my supervisor at the non-profit "reminded" me my contract was going to end in one month since the woman whose position I was filling while she was on maternity leave was supposed to return. However, this was news to me because my LMG recruiter, Fernando, informed me I was supposed to have a 6 month contract and not a 3 month contract. I was at first disappointed with the non-profit I worked at and not LMG because I assumed the non-profit was responsible for the miscommunication. But when I informed my supervisor that I was supposed to work for 6 months, she showed me the email correspondence with Fernando from LMG that mentioned the specific dates I was supposed to work. Her email specifically showed the dates for the 3 months I was supposed to work and not 6 months like Fernando told me. In the email thread she showed me, Fernando even responded to her and confirmed the 3 month-long contract. Therefore, Fernando showed a lack of professionalism and high level of incompetence by not communicating this important information to me. When I told Fernando that my contract would be ending early, he had the audacity to blame me for taking a vacation and said that must have been the reason they were terminating me early. This made absolutely no sense since I informed my supervisor of my vacation months in advance. He refused to take any kind of responsibility for the miscommunication that he was clearly responsible for. When I asked my supervisor whether my vacation had anything to do with my contract ending early, she assured me it didn't and said the employee returning from maternity leave was the only reason I couldn't work longer. This was one of my first professional experiences as a new graduate and I regret ever working through LMG, and it was extremely frustrating and negative.

Okay, LMG Healthcare, where have you been all my life?…read more I've read through the negative reviews here, and it's too bad because to be honest, those people might not have given it a chance, come on! You had your resume viewed, isn't that enough to get excited? LMG did an awesome job keeping me thoroughly informed through the whole placement process. Nirav and Ross are the most professional and well spoken individuals who helped me get in the door at a major hospital as a nurse. Who also, gave me invaluable tips on how to spruce up my resume. Cause keep it real, is yours even up to par with whats going on in the industry? And! Nu, at the front desk is equally thorough, making sure I dot my "i's" and cross my "t's". Listen people, the hiring process out in the wide open world is treacherous and can be vicious. Employment Agencies, if linked up with right one, can get your foot in the door to someplace that wouldn't have even thought to look twice at your resume. For those people who reviewed 1 star, don't be lazy. The complaints are: 1. I didn't get hired - If you didn't get hired, could it have been your lack of enthusiasm and skill? 2. I didn't get paid on time - Did you not clock in your time correctly? 3. No insurance - Did you not read the agreement? 4. Phone tag - Were you too busy looking at Instagram to answer the phone call when your looking for a job? 5. Waste of a 10 minute interview - What's 10 minutes out of your 1,440 minute day? 6. San Jose is too far - Sure San Jose is far, but you have no qualms driving to Valley Fair, right? 7. I have to pay for my own flu shot - Are you gonna die if you have to walk up to Walgreens and pay $20 for a flu shot that could possibly prevent you from getting sick and getting sent to the hospital for an office visit and meds that could potentially cost you a total of $425? BOOHOO! Come guys, have you ever thought about it might actually just be you? Stop complaining! Your looking for a job, LMG found you, take the opportunity! Your probably no better than you were before they even called you.

Most recruiters/agencies these days provide some nominal benefits (medical coverage, PTO, etc). DeWinter provides a really generous medical plan, a few sick days and a (non-match) 401K, which are all better than what some regular employers offer - I was certainly grateful for having a 401K, matched or not, and though I didn't need the medical coverage, it is a generous plan for a reasonable price. Plus, they are allied with a lot of companies all over the Bay Area so there is plenty to choose from. Everyone I've worked with on the team is exceptional!! I receive at least 2 emails/day from the DeWinter team for amazing jobs that pay really well, and most are at least partially remote. They are all really helpful and work to negotiate the finer points with the client. I can't say enough great things about them - the recruiters and the support staff are phenomenal and are with their candidates every step of the way. I'm grateful to have been referred to them.

They offer great compensation, fast at setting up interviews and then they Disappear!!! Poor Communication. You must follow up with them several times. This company NEVER answers the phone and barely responds to emails. They give you dates on when they will get back to you and they NEVER do. While I understand they can't control the hiring managers final decision, they most certainly can control their communication and professionalism skills. I also understand that they are not able to disclose every single detail that the employer might be looking for, but they need to stop selling false narratives to hard working people looking to work. It's truly unfair to string people along. Again, COMMUNICATION IS KEY. DON'T WASTE PEOPLE'S TIME!!!! I will not recommend using this agency if you want to be updated with the status of your interviews or submissions. I will not be using this agency moving forward. Good Luck to those that want to waste their time and energy. Not ME, my time is too valuable and expensive. Thank you,

The semester is coming to an end - very soon…read more I've been laid-off for quite some time. I actively search and submit my resume and/or application daily. However, I wasn't getting anywhere. I decided to check out Randstad's website. I registered, uploaded my resume, and started searching. I applied to a few in San Jose, Milpitas, Walnut Creek, Hayward, San Francisco, and New York City. I think I applied to about 8-10 jobs. The morning after, I received a call asking me to come in to interview and to get my application and other documents in to have me officially in the system. The interview went rather well and I was told to take a PowerPoint and Excel test (online so you can take it in the comfort of your own home). Once I completed the tests, I got a call back exactly 2 days after for an interview. BTW- this office is located RIGHT across from Subway and Pizza Chicago off of San Fernando. You will not see it when you are driving. Anyway- I interviewed Thursday early afternoon. Cameron, my recruiter at Randstad checked in w/ me Friday morning (the day after the interview). I really liked how Cameron was thorough and very attentive to me. By 1:30pm that day, about 4-5 hours after his check-in call, I was told I was offered the position! I just know that I was the 8th person being interviewed. I got it! I start tomorrow! Hell to the yeah!

Yes, this is the daily affirmation by SNL's very own Stuart Smalley; if you have found yourself at Randstad, you need it. If you have had the misfortune of working for them before reading this review, please check your timesheets. They will calculate your time incorrectly. There are 60 minutes in the hour but they have no problem calculating 7 hours and 30 minutes as 7.3 hours which robs you of 12 minutes or 7 hours and 45 minutes as 7.45 which robs you of 18 minutes. Are they pocketing the difference? Who knows, but they will ignore you and call you rude if you persist. Go anywhere else, because, you are good enough, you are smart enough, and doggone it, people like you. FYI They are really located on Gateway, they moved but have not updated their address.
