He booked Jeanette and she was a delight to work with. The pedicab was a surprise for me, and I had the best time exploring Downtown San Jose. Jeanette arrived on time, was very professional, and I felt safe at all times with her as the driver. She was open to any stops that we wanted to go to, was helpful with taking photos for us, and was very flexible with the time. (We went a couple of hours overtime and she was gracious about it.) Fast forward to a year later, my husband booked them again for our one year anniversary. Again, it was a surprise for me. He essentially recreated our first date, and ended up proposing to me at Christmas in the Park. Our pedicab driver was great and took video footage and photos of the proposal for us. Priceless memories that I'll always cherish! When it was time to plan our wedding, we wanted to incorporate the pedicab somehow. We reached out to Jeanette, and ended up renting one of their pedicabs and had a friend drive us into the wedding reception as part of our grand entrance. We surprised our guests and they all loved it! We used the pedicab afterwards as a prop for photos for all our guests and it was a huge hit! Needless to say, we are so happy with this company and the services they provide and have used them (and will continue to use them) to show friends around downtown SJ. If you're looking for a unique way to explore San Jose, don't hesitate to reach out to them! Friendly service and a fun way to explore downtown with a new perspective!

I need a professional Design & Marketing provider to help me with my business. Based on the great…read morereview score, and their website, I thought Brick House Media was promising. When I called them, a young guy just answered, "Hello?" How unprofessional! First red flag. I told him I was impressed by their website, but the way he answered the phone was really unprofessional and sends up a red flag; but I'm willing to move past that and inquire about their services. That was his cue to express a modicum of humility and apologize, but no -he just asked how they could help, with a tone that clearly indicated he really didn't care. There was no life in his voice. When I began telling him what I'm interested in, he cut me off and said he's busy with a client. Wow! Obviously all that glitters isn't gold, as this is clearly NOT a professional business -one that would have someone answer calls when they're with a client, or simply not answer the phone, so they can stay focused on their client. Taking away from a client's time (and money) to answer calls is disrespectful and unprofessional. Seeing any further conversation would be wasted on him, I hung up.

DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY LESSONS THAT WON'T BREAK YOUR SPIRIT…read more "Motherfucker! I bought this expensive camera and I can't make it work worth shit. Sure it is OK in Monkey Mode--auto--but is this all there is?" That was me. Now my buyers remorse is gone thanks to Jared Brick. I bought a NIKON SLR he showed me how to use it. Let's face it, cameras are easy to use now but what you need to know to get good shots in various conditions have not changed. Jared will meet you anywhere and with the patience of a saint tell you how to use your toy. His ability to communicate concepts, and you need to know them, is very good. Does ISO, f stop, and aperture totally confuse you. It should. But Jared makes it simple... "Photography is all about light" "The Aperture mode is the artistry mode" "The ISO is like a dimmer" Golden. Unlike other teachers he LIKES teaching and never is condescending. With tons of Flickr'rs running around with expensive toys like me this guy is the missing piece. Pretty down to earth, willing to drop an f-bomb if necessary. Extra credit there...

I booked Motion Marketing in the spring of 2021 for an engagement photo shoot in Big Sur. The TL:DR…read morepositive feedback is that I loved working with the team at Motion Marketing. I originally found these folks when searching for portrait photography and real estate photography in the Monterey area... and just really appreciated their friendly and approachable style. The longer story is that I am from the East Coast, and I just simply didn't know Monterey, Carmel-by-the-sea, San Jose, and Big Sur as detailed as I could have. I knew the general area I wanted to propose to my girlfriend, but Fernando and Xavier generously stepped up and offered all sorts of suggestions. They were patient with me, and quickly bought-in on my vision. I'm not sure who was more excited for the pictures... me or them! I later looked into more of their portfolio, realizing that they had also been doing a bunch of family photography & real estate videography around San Jose CA. This was helpful, as I was able to see a good spectrum of the post-production work that they do, which is a whole additional design skillset beyond skilled photography & videography. This helped seal my decision. (I think they also do web/graphic design?) The team is super supportive, creative, smart, and very talented. Beyond that, they enthusiastically go the extra mile for their clients. Figuratively and literally... They hiked over a mile and had to ford a river to get to the spot where I decided to pop the question. They were incredibly thoughtful and cognizant of staying in communication with me, but not over-communicating so they wouldn't arouse suspicion with my future fiancé. They also hid in the sand dunes, near piles of driftwood - to help keep the whole event a surprise! If you're familiar with Andrew Molera State Park, then you know what I'm talking about. Lastly, the pictures came out great. We've got the Big Sur River in the background on one side, a beach in the foreground, and the Pacific Ocean on the other side. Beautifully done, much appreciated, and I would absolutely return to book them again in the future. One of the most important and memorable days of my entire life was immensely improved by their direct input and efforts. I am grateful that I was able to work with them. Thank you, guys!

I really appreciate that Cassie was so personable and genuinely cared about my personal growth and wellness. Our conversations together felt really comfortable while she still held me accountable to focus on my self growth and turn away from looking down on myself. I came into our sessions feeling really unsure of where my life was going. I was rather discouraged about who I was and insecure about my friendships. Doing my sessions with Cassie, I was really able to change my mindset on these - while I am still growing, I've already been able to have a really positive and growth-oriented mindset. In a session where we talked about friendships, Cassie helped me greatly to walk through what my values are, and she was really great at listening to the experiences I've had with friends in the past. Between sessions with homework, it never felt like homework. Since She helped me to get into a habit of journaling, it really felt like a self-focus time on my own. Her worksheets are straightforward and helpful, and never felt like too much to do.
