We needed 7 pallets of zoyzia sod and one tandem load of top soil. Mike Gauker from RGS Landscape came out the next day. We discussed our needs Mike asked about our irrigation system and I told him it has not worked in years. Mike said let me take a look at it. I received a written quote the next morning for everything! The price was better than three other estimates I received without the irrigation system included. I hired RGS Landscaping that afternoon and two days later Mike Gauker and crew were at our house early in the morning and completed the entire yard in one day!!!! That's including clean up and putting the fence back up. All a that can be said is Woohoo!! That's as good as it gets. Respectfully, Leo and Bonnie Barrett

On 11/17/18 they came to my home and were supposed to do a trim on 2 trees but what I ended up with…read morewas 3/4 of one tree done well and then they cut down one tree entirely. The crew did a good job of cleaning up and cutting what they could from the cherry picker. Believe they had 6 people cleaning, 1 in bucket, and one supervising. The issues I have is not only did they remove a tree, but it's now 11/29/18 and i have heard no mention of how they are going to fix my problem. Just said they will get back and no return calls. This was my home they impacted and devalued and they just went ghost. I will say that people need not worry too much because in 15 years I was the only person who had got his tree cut down on accident. (Such a great thing to hear after you destroy my property). They also informed me that he would get my stump ground for free. (What a deal!!!) The whole thing seemed like a joke to everyone there. I was angry and truly just wanted everyone off my property the moment the tree got cut. I was quoted 800 for both trees to be trimmed which is 400 a hour and i will end up paying more than that for the tree I will need to replace the one they cut down. Outside the guy who cut my tree the crew was good at clean up and the half hack job on the remaining tree was because he couldn't get to it due to bucket reach and honestly I wanted them out of my yard. I would recommend them for tree removal not trimming only because they trimmed one all the way to the grass..

The tree was about to fall over. I knew it was going to cost a lot to have it removed but I was more concerned about the pool and house being hit by a falling tree. They did come out the day I called them and put together an estimate. At this time they are truly very busy. They did put me at the top of the list and came out the next week and removed the tree. Unbelievable how they used hoists to hold the tree up while they cut it down. They were at the end of their shift so after they laid the remainder of tree on the ground they came back the next day and cleaned it all up. The crew was highly personable and friendly. All GA boys. They really know their stuff, I would highly recommend them. I have several trees that will probably need removing and definitely call them to do the work.

They were on time and did an excellent job. It is one month later, the irrigation system works perfectly, the new sod matches the existing sod, and everything is thriving. I have received many compliments from family and neighbors. In addition, the crew saved me $400 from the estimate cost. I will use Mixon in the future and highly recommend them. Anne Rettig

Then at a moment's notice repaired an unexpected downspout drainage issue from a previous landscaper the same day. Their ability to help make the repair was incredible. Second, they had to come back to correct my initial landscaper's poor drainage issue which was worse than previously thought. Donny's crew worked hard to undo a mess from someone else, and the price was fair for the work that they were doing. After all the work they did, the crew cleaned up and did not leave a trace of evidence that they were there. The work is solid, and my yard is looking good. The method that Donny's crew used is working perfectly. Overall, their price is reasonable, they are flexible, showed up when they were supposed to, answered my calls/txt quickly, and cleaned up after the jobs were completed. I would use them again, and recommend them.
