The medical team was so knowledgeable, helpful, and showed genuine care in our well-being. I wouldn't recommend a mommy-to-be to deliver anywhere else. After making the trip to the urgent care to confirm I had indeed broken my hand, I prodded the internet and my insurance company for an experienced orthopedic surgeon specializing in hands. As luck would have it, Dr. Gonzalez's name topped the list. He is one of the best hand surgeons in Miami. Dr. G's staff is attentive, professional, and will do everything possible to relieve any stress you may feel about being in a doctor's office. Everything from setting the appointment, the office visit, and even the billing is handled with great attention to detail, patience, and respect for your time and well-being. My break occurred over the Christmas holiday, and his office had an appointment for me that Friday. Surgery was scheduled for January 3rd, and today, after five weeks of recovery and a second surgery to remove the metal pin, I got the green light to punch the wall again! (Just kidding, people...) Thanks to Dr. G and his team, I can now type up this Yelp review using ALL my fingers! SYOY!!!

I would very much so not recommend coming to OrthoNow Aventura. I have previously heard good…read morethings, but perhaps since this is a franchise location it is not up to the Standards of other OrthoNow locations. I had a bad feeling about this place from the second I walked in. The baron walls, fast food menu on the wall of prices for services, and sub-zero temperatures did not give me a feeling of comfort, a much-needed feeling as I was in a high amount of discomfort. After taking getting my X-rays taken I took a photo of my X-rays on the computer with my phone. At this point, the doctor came running over saying "that's a big no-no, big no-no" as he was chastizing the X-ray tech in front of me for taking a picture of my x-rays. This gave me a very uncomfortable feeling seeing the way that he was treating his staff in front of me. Especially since there should not be a single issue with me taking a picture of my X-rays on my phone. After my examination, I ensured that they gave me a copy of these X-rays on a CD and there was no issue there. I came in with immense pain in my foot and hand. The doctor poked around on my foot until he located the pain. He then left the room for no more than 15 seconds, not even enough time to have walked to the room where he would look at the X-rays. He came back and told me that I did not have any fractures in my finger or foot. The Issue here is that I sent my X-rays over to a radiologist and within 15 seconds he noticed a very clear and obvious fracture in both my foot and finger.
