My five year old daughter was being very difficult as well, but she did not have any teeth issues, she was just was there for a cleaning. We were told that the total cost for dental work, hospital CHoA and anesthesiologist would be $4,000 total out of pocket for a root canal, a few extractions and a couple of fillings. My nine year old ended up with a couple of fillings and seven extractions. The $27,000.00 bill came a few weeks later, you read it right $27,000.00 and that's not including the $4,000 we paid. I called the dentist to complain asking how a $4,000 quote turn into $31,000. I was told it happens sometimes. My girls now go to Dr. Kwon's office and have no issues. They are comfortable here and they cooperate with the Dr's and staff because they make them feel at ease. My five year old had a tooth removed and they did it right there in the office saving me 6200% of what the other place cost. If your children are comfortable with their Dr they are more cooperative. Going to the dentist can be a traumatic experience for a child, but the staff here at Dr. Kwon's provides a relaxed environment that makes your children feel at ease.
