Hired Construction Unlimited to do a major renovation of our cottage on Catawba Island. Contract outlined all work and price was established. We live out of state and asked for regular contact and photos as work progressed. Owner had minimal ability with technology and updates were few and far between. He also complained a lot about how little he was making on the job, but he was the one who submitted the bid and agreed to the terms. The majority of the work turned out really nice but there were small details he agreed to fix but never did. Also hired him to finish renovations started by a family member but after many delays and no shows, he told us his crew wouldn't be back because he had lots of other better paying jobs lined up. read more
