This is not a moving company. I found Susan Schrader on the National Association of Senior Move…read moreManagers website. Moving Mom to our part of the country was going to need an expert. Susan drove about 60 miles said we had already accomplished most of what needed to be done. Her consultation was wonderful. Senior Move Managers specialize in organizing, sorting, donating and prioritizing the transition process and then setting up at the destination (if it's within a certain area - if not there are many across the country). Her biggest help was finding an actual moving company. She has worked with Dave at Navis Pack and Ship in Lakeland, FL and made the introduction. Small towns generally don't have competing businesses and sometimes don't have the business at all that you need so having an alternative is great. Susan was so wonderful. Just knowing she was there to answer questions was a relief. I'm hoping this review will further compensate for her time and caring and help other families who need a specialist.

I brought someone here to get assistance. As a spectator, this is a decent facility for getting…read morehelp for just about any needs you may have. There's generally an intake process and then the help starts. There are many free services, including classes and groups for rehabilitation, help with getting a job, requesting benefits such as SSI, SSDI, food stamps (SNAP), WIC, housing and many other benefits. They also assist with filling out paperwork and requesting documents from doctors (with your consent) to start your filing process. It's a very relaxed environment, but an interesting one to say the least. They offer snacks and drinks for purchase, but also offer a lunch during the day which is free. They're open on weekends, but I'm not sure what they offer then. My only complaint is they are busy and take a while to return phone calls or call you back to come in and start the process. Also, it's not a very private place. The employees will ask you personal questions in front of other people while you're in an open room. They also allow multiple intakes to happen at the same time, so you're forced to share personal information while someone else is sharing their personal info in the same room as you. I would check this place out if you're in need of assistance. It's located inside the Empowerment Academy building on the 2nd floor! Park inside the gated parking lot on the corner of Genesse and Elm St.
