On May 18, 2017 I paid MSRP of $6600 less $430.75 (insurance estimate) for hearing aids. Unknown to…read moreme at the time, that price was $1169.25 over the agreed upon charge with my insurance carrier. I was handed a page to sign that the patient care coordinator, Brandy Vance pointed out the line stating I would be responsible for any charges insurance didn't cover. However, down towards the bottom of the page was a contradictory statement that regardless of insurance coverage I was responsible for the full price. In the rush to get it done and trusting that what was told to me, I signed. This was the only page I signed I was not given a copy of. Had I gotten a copy and read it in full I would have immediately cancelled the order. Hearing Life has been contacted multiple times about a refund due. They are hanging their hat on the fact I missed that line and refusing a full refund. Apparently they can't keep the portion of the payment that came from my HRA, $2069.25 and have agreed to refund that amount. This entire situation may be easier for me to swallow if the hearing aids worked worth a darn. I have returned on 3 separate occasions to have them readjusted with no results. I can't even wear them. Everything sounds as if I am listening through a paper towel tube. Hollow and garbled. I am extremely dissatisfied with both the service and product that Hearing Life has offered. The only reason I gave them one star is at least one is required to post. BTW, business is 1900 block of Milham, same phone number.

Then I opened it to find an advertisement from Beltone. This was poor decision.

I came to the practice with two specific hearing aids in mind. Steve knew both models inside and out. He was very thorough in his analysis, asked important questions, and - most importantly - listened to me. The selected hearing aids arrived in a few days and the delivery appointment was immediate. Tanya made everything happen from the initial appointment, order placement, following up on the order, and getting me in for the fitting. She even gave me Halloween candy today! I'm now 4 days into my shakeout period and the results so far are amazing. This is my first set of hearing aids (which I should've considered years ago). The TruHearing affiliation through my insurance company made the price affordable. I highly recommend Sonus Kalamazoo, Steve and Tanya.

He came in with someone else's hearing test results - PA brought him right one. And the report to my doctor? It definitely wasn't about me. Was that the other lady's well as it was loaded with inaccuracies about my health even answers to questions never asked. Got a survey about how the visit with Audiologist went. Didn't have one - Dr. Raedy said it wasn't necessary. I have way too many health issues and in the 25 years I've dealt with my health, this was the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor and I've had a few doozies over those years. Find someone else. Since the original post on Healthgrades on May 28 (since deleted but reposted today), no responses, my patient portal cancelled June 1, June 4 dropped by certified letter for verbal and/or "threating" behavior, (Shouldn't it be "threatening behavior"?) Yes, I wrote pretty anger message wanting an explanation never called the office. And no, it was not considered threatening by others who have read it, got a bill notification 6/2 that I can't get to because no patient portal. Meantime, still in pain, still have issues hearing, and still disgusted with this doctor and his office! After posting this, I called my insurance company. The code used for "diagnosis" was "benign neoplasm of bone and articular cartilage unspecific". Interesting since I went in to talk about hearing issues and he looked at my nose for about 5 seconds after I told him I had had surgery last year and what for (different ENT). Only said still had some deviated septum nothing more and looked ok. Again, wonder who's getting my diagnosis?
