Disclaimer: The below review is my own opinion based on my personal experience. Your experience…read moremay vary. Hiring this law firm was the most expensive mistake of my life. Run- don't walk away from this place. Unless you want to be verbally and emotionally abused by your own attorney when you're most vulnerable and most in need of assistance. I selected this firm based on the 5 star Yelp reviews but my experience was far from 5 stars. During my consult, the Attorney assigned to my case (Donna Saber) sounded competent and professional- so I agreed to hire Wright Law. However, it took constant prodding and phone calls from me to move the divorce forward over an 18 month period. Donna almost never proactively reached out to me to provide any case updates. It was always me calling or emailing her asking for a status. For the first 18 months of my case, Donna was reasonably cordial (but nearly always hurried, curt and abrupt). However, as we were getting closer to the actual hearing dates ("crunch time") Donna completely let me down. There were meetings and hearings scheduled with almost zero explanation of what the hearing was for, how I should prepare, what I should expect, who would be present. When I would ask these (and other questions) - Donna Saber would become agitated, annoyed and exasperated. Dealing with my own attorney became so stressful because of her temper and erratic volatility. If that wasn't bad enough, Donna was often disorganized and scattered. Example: Donna submitted legal documents for me to sign and notarize that were full of glaring errors including assets (on the asset inventory sheet) that we didn't even mine (we don't own a home in Quincy!). So here I am (the client) paying thousands of dollars in attorneys fees while I proofread and correct my own attorney's work. It would laughable if it wasn't so egregious (and costly). The worst part? Donna screamed and cursed at me (dropped an F bomb on me) on 11/14/25. Here's some direct quotes from Donna during our conversations within the two weeks prior to the first pre-trial hearing in front of the judge: "We already went over this!" "I don't have tiiiiiiimmmeeee for this!" "Oh here we go again with you - around and around!!." It got so bad (and so routine) that every time I saw my lawyer's name on the caller ID I would get so anxious because the calls with were so triggering. She would also get very defensive when I asked if certain tasks have been done or what the plan/strategy is? In my personal experience, I've never worked with an attorney as unprofessional, erratic and volatile as Donna Saber (and I've worked with many attorneys over the years). I tried to speak to the owner or the firm about how I was being treated (Ellen Wright is the owner) but she denied everything, vehemently defended the actions of her employee and offered zero sympathy or support. It's my opinion that Ellen just wanted to make sure she got paid- despite the abhorrent treatment I received by her firm. My personal opinion & experience is that Ellen Wright is extremely money focused and NOT results driven. This firm doesn't appear to care whether or not their lawyers actually get the job done, create effective legal strategies or mediate a successful solution - they care about dragging cases out and BILLING THE MAXIMUM amount of hours they can squeeze out of their clients. Bottom line- don't be fooled (like I was) by the 5 Star reviews. If you're a masochist and thinking about hiring this firm, you should think long and hard if you want to put yourself through the same hell that I went through. Then think about it again. Wright Law should be ashamed how I was treated. They made the difficult process of divorce far more stressful and painful than it needed to be. Read some of the recent one star reviews (check Google Reviews and Yelp)...they're much more reflective of what I experienced. I paid well over $10k to get absolutely ZERO results - no divorce. I had to fire Wright Law and start from scratch with a whole new firm (and a whole new retainer fee). The above review is my personal opinion based on my own experience.

Communication was reactive rather than proactive, and much of the time we had to chase updates or check the probate court docket ourselves. As first-time buyers, we needed more guidance and reassurance than we received. We also had issues with her paralegal, Stacey, who sent us an extremely rude and dismissive email that turned out to be wrong. This contributed to more preventable delays and costs, and Keira never addressed it with us. Keira's tone was often blunt, dismissive, and at times rude. For example, when my husband (who is an attorney but not a real estate attorney) asked her for her professional estimate based on her experience, she responded: "You're an attorney, you know that the court is unpredictable." That kind of remark was passive-aggressive and unhelpful, and it set the tone for much of our relationship with her. We also repeatedly asked her to communicate with us more proactively, but nothing ever changed. At closing, she asked us to sign two optional items we had opted out of earlier in the process. She said she needed to "check" to make sure we weren't being charged for them in the closing costs. I had already confirmed we weren't, and this is something her office should have caught when reviewing the final numbers. Instead, it created more unnecessary confusion at the table. Keira's style of communication made an already stressful process much harder than it needed to be. Edit: I have gone back and updated my review. After posting this review, the managing partner, Peter Kajko, personally reached out to us. He was kind, heartfelt, and genuinely listened to our concerns. He acknowledged our frustrations, explained the firm's perspective, and took the time to make sure we felt heard. Karen Stuntz was our GAL in my divorce regarding custody of our kids. My ex was the first to meet…read morewith her. I had previously attempted to get a restraining order against my ex twice and they were not extended, unfortunately, despite ample evidence of harassment and verbal abuse. Karen decided that because they were not extended I was a liar (the judge believed me, but felt it didn't qualify for an RO) and using an RO to gain custody (so she obviously looked at nothing I gave her including medical records, texts, etc. from during the marriage indicating I was being abused at home). My ex husband also gave her nearly FORTY nude and partially nude photographs of me that he stole from my deleted album folder. He printed 8x10 copies of these and Karen happily took them and kept them where anyone in her office could see. Despite the Lamb rule that she will remind you of constantly, this apparently did not apply to me and I had to find out about the pictures when reading her final report. I cannot even begin to explain the violation I felt. This lead to depression and anxiety, I had to take an FMLA from work. Additionally, Karen stated any accusations that I made against my ex should be strictly scrutinized because, you know, I am a liar according to Karen. These words and her report were used against me for YEARS and I had no choice but to agree to 50/50 custody with my ex husband who was essentially absent from participating in childcare duties during our entire marriage. Not only that but he (either he or someone he asked to) filed a 51A on me for neglect, which was promptly dismissed and never even investigated. But I am the liar, Karen? He has prolonged the divorce case and used litigation to abuse me further, causing our case to go to trial as well as even attempting to amend the final judgment- it has been over 4 years that he has been filing litigations against me. But I am the problem, Karen? Thankfully, our judge totally disagreed with Karen. Our judge believes that my ex is VIOLENT, ANGRY, etc. Our judge identified that I was credible in our final judgment. Our judge identified that I was the primary caregiver to our children. Additionally, because of Karen's words, my ex would spend years verbally abusing me, giving me the finger in front of our kids, making veiled threats against me, and acting aggressive and frightening, feeling very empowered by Karen. Luckily, another judge also saw through my ex husband and I was granted a 2 year RO against him due to his abuse. Karen has almost ruined my life, but I am clawing my way out and thankfully people who are better at their jobs are seeing the truth. I would not recommend Karen Stuntz in any capacity.
