I moved to Palm Coast in February to take a travel position as a registered nurse in a local hospital. I am from Michigan and have used the same hairdresser and salon for many years. I was apprehensive about trying a local salon, but my hair was in need of some attention. I contacted a local hairdresser through the suggestion of a co-worker. I showed the hairdresser a picture of what I wanted my hair to look like. I was in need of a color, lowlights, and a trim. After two separate trips to the salon, my blonde hair was dark brown with a tinge of green. What a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! A few weeks prior, I met Connie at the pool where we live and she told me that she was a hairdresser and owned a local salon. I told her that I had just made an appointment with someone, but if it didn't work out I would give her a call. Little did I know that I would be calling her so soon, or need her so DESPARATELY. Knowing that I would NEVER give the first salon another chance, I called Connie and explained my dilemma. She assured me that she could FIX my hair and made an appointment for the following afternoon. What an AMAZING woman and hairdresser; she REALLY knows her job! I was so happy to have my blonde hair back and am looking forward to my next appointment. I would HIGHLY recommend Connie for a haircut and/or color, if you want it done RIGHT the first time. read more

I never write reviews but in this case i couldn't resist. I'v been in Florida for nearly 20 years and have been to so many hair salons and all of them were total disasters...seriously orange or green hair!!!! I gave up and let my hair grow out, gray from crown to chin and then 6 inches of dark brown!! I turned to Yelp and started reading, thats when i found Connie at Consalon. Went to see her and instantly trusted her. Knowing she taught hair color at an upscale school in California, also owned a salon there and had styled and colored numerous actors and models hair really assured me she knew her stuff! I cant believe how beautiful my hair looked when i left her salon, it was perfect the first time! Love the cut too! She is the nicest person and makes you feel comfortable soon as you walk in. Kind of neat looking at photos of her and all the famous people whos hair shes done!!! If you want beautiful hair go see Connie at Consalon you wont be sorry!! Thank you Connie you are awesome! No one else will ever touch my hair! read more

It is with great apprehension that I write this review, because I really don't want to share Connie. I moved to Flagler Beach about a year ago - prior to that I had the same hairdresser for 10 years. I had tried a few here and things were OK, but I wasn't truly satisfied. I stumbled upon Connie a few weeks ago here on Yelp - I was looking for someone new and I really didn't want to drive over the bridge. She is Wonderful! I sent my husband to her also and he came raving that it was the best haircut in a very long time. I have since brought my 2 sons to her for haircuts also. I am so happy - i have found a Great stylist and a new friend! read more

Been contemplating how to start this review and I think the best way to is by saying I haven't let anyone else touch my hair since the day I met Connie seven years ago. I don't ever have to tell her what to do I blindly let her do what she thinks is right and it always turns out beautiful! Before I met her my stomach would flip around thinking about getting my hair cut but now it's such a happy and fun experience every time. If all that doesn't convince you maybe the fact that I flew all the way from Maryland to get my hair done will. Thanks Connie for everything you do. - Gabrielle read more

Found Connie of ConSalon on Yelp, so thank you to others who took time to review, so I am jumping on because I now know how important these reviews are. I've been a difficult client to please...accustomed to beautiful mix of coloring with highlights, lowlights, and a base color that makes all of the colors well, just rich looking. Connie was able to do this for me. Rich carmel highlights with even a few hints of lighter color and a deep base. She's creative when asked witb both the hair cut and coloring. She's awesome! read more

Connie is awesome !! Finally, after 2 yrs. living in Palm Coast, I found someone who got my color right 1st time. I just cannot brag enough on her. She knows her stuff. I got a great cut too...which is not always easy with my fine, thin hair. Connie at Con Salon gets me & my hair type....I am betting she would get you as well. I joined Yelp just to read @ her. I now am writing my 1st review ever.! Oh , did I mention, very reasonable. Janemac read more

I was looking for a hair stylist while on vacation and I can't recommend Connie enough! She gave me a cut and color that I was getting compliments on long after I got home. Her years of experience shows with her attention to detail and raw talent. She gave me exactly what I needed and wanted for a perfect summer hairstyle. Hadn't had a haircut in almost a year. Decided I needed one while I was on vacation. She made time for me because she wanted to make sure I got a great haircut so I didn't regret cutting off my long hair. I was nervous right up until I walked in the door and she greeted me like she'd known me forever and then gave me a great haircut. Now I just wish I could take her back home to cut my hair all the time!! read more

Saw Connie today for highlights and in between color. After 4 1/2 years of looking in the area, finally found someone who respected me enough to use the formula I asked for. Don't let anyone else tell you they can do it "better" or "match". Stop wasting your money and call Connie! She is amazing and her wonderful personality made me feel like I've known her for years! Great location, as well! read more

I have been blonde for a few years and every time I had my hair done it would be fried for the first few days, but not with Connie. Her steam-dye process is absolutely amazing. My hair has never been so silky smooth. She is hands down the most talented stylist in the Flagler Beach/ Palm Coast/ Ormond Beach area. Highly recommended!!! read more

I am someone who is extremely picky with my hair, and rarely gets the courage to even get it cut. The only person I trust with my hair is Connie. She always listens to what I'm asking for and puts me at ease when I am in her chair! Being from Maryland it makes it tough to get my hair done often by her, but it is always worth the wait! read more

The best salon in Florida! Connie has a lifetime of experience and it is evident! She is not only talented, but warm and friendly. My husband and 5 children also go to ConSalon. Connie used to cut my hair, here in LA, for many years. She was also my "therapist" :-) Her work is great, and so is her lively and friendly personality. Very meticulous, and professional. I miss coming in and talking with you. So I had to leave you a review in your new venture. read more
