He listened carefully, learned to "read" my characteristics over time and came up with effective methods for elaboration on my topics. What I liked the most: - Reflection on real life situations from my project everyday life. I shared situations, we talked about what could have been done differently, what are potential ways to go etc. - We elaborated TOGETHER as a team. He asked questions in order to make me see the problem and solution. - Provided sophisticated and useful materials like journals, articles etc. - Success journal: I had to keep record of my successes. That helped to strengthen my confidence and self-perception. I recommend the Coaching a lot! I would undergo it 100% again. Thank you for the collaboration, Spencer!

The depths that we were able to reach in just 2 sessions surpassed anything I had hoped to achieve. Thanks to your expert facilitation, our team worked through complicated interpersonal concerns in a direct, yet safe space. We shaped goals for the future, defined accountability parameters and adopted a team purpose that is meaningful to guide us as we move forward. Since our return to the office from our executive retreat the team has been visibly more cohesive and connected. Morale has increased exponentially and I'm certain there will be a boost in productivity as a result of the increased positivity. You've made an impact that started at the top and has already begun to impact our middle management and line staff. The ripple effect of the work you did with our leaders will make this a better and more effective company on every level. Thanks you so much!

This review is for the Connecting With Women workshop (CWW for short), run by Lynn Matalon…read more I did this workshop because I have trouble coming off well on dates; instead of being charming and funny, which (I flatter myself) I am around friends, I feel stilted and awkward and stressed out, which is *deeply* unsexy. I also have a certain amount of totally general social anxiety. CWW is mostly based around the concept of "you spend three days working one-on-one with a cast of pretty girls, vetted by Lynn on the basis of some combination of attractiveness, perceptiveness, and ability to provide detailed feedback. Together with these girls, you do structured exercises meant to develop comfort around being bold, being vulnerable, and expressing attraction." I'd go into much more detail, but the nature of a lot of these exercises is such that you want to go into them blind (which is why Lynn asked me not to discuss them in detail.) About five days out from the end of the workshop, it feels like one of the most meaningful and intense experiences I've had over the past few years. Which sounds nuts (I mean, jesus, it's a three day workshop, come on), but honestly, how often do you get multiple days in a row of guided exposure therapy in going outside of your comfort zone? How often do you get to iterate on your personal bearing and mode of expression, with the help of detailed feedback from the girls you're speaking to? And good lord, the feedback. I have never received such intensive and detailed critiques of so many aspects of my bearing and actions. Some were flattering! Some, *significantly* less flattering. Some of the feedback I would classify using words like "brutal" or possibly "savage." But generally the messages were clear and actionable, and as the weekend wore on I found myself much more relaxed even with the models I'd never worked with before, even outside the structured exercises; and from the descriptions of both the models and the other guys I was coming off *much* better than when I entered. Is this just a fleeting workshop high? Man, I can't tell yet, it's just been a few days since this ended, get off my back. But it *feels* to me like something I should be able to parlay into a permanent bonus of +1 to CHA. Maybe +2, if I really push myself and play my cards right. TL;DR: if you want to become as awesome on dates as the imaginary version of yourself who lives in your head but isn't allowed to do anything because you're nervous, you could do a *lot worse* than taking Lynn's Connecting With Women course.
