This store is horrible. They do not abide by their contracts and they do not have an installer who installs products purchased there properly. My brand new wood flooring was scratched up and then installer covered it up with one of my rugs. I have been trying to resolve an issue with them for 3 months and they will not respond. The issue has left me unable to use two of the appliances I purchased that they should have installed. I finally placed a complaint with BBB. It wasn't like I wasn't warned. I mean hey, It's right there on the marquis. I actually applied for credit as a lark after one too many glasses of wine, binge watching the last few episodes of Breaking Bad. After having my ass handed to me by the economic collapse and subsequent IRS audit flagged by a computer for my excessive mileage reported (Im a dog walker) and my suspicious charitable deductions (Im in rescue) I was surprised that I was offered any credit at all. But since I was in need of a new washer and dryer and tired of buying used only to have to buy again 12 months later, I applied requesting 2000 in credit. Much to my surprise just thirty minutes later I was granted $5000...WTF for reals...but after I saw the interest rate, I said umm no..and quickly sent the river of emails congratulating me on my approvals into my trash and then moved my cursor to block any further correspondence. Then came the phone calls. Day after day, week after week they came from every store in the area. Some on the same day from the same store..enough already. Each inviting me to come in and select my appliances. My response was the same. If I needed something, I would most likely order online. I was intrigued to be told that in order to purchase, it would require my presence and signatures...no dice I said. Really don't have time. Finally, my washer gave out having washed its last dog blanket..Shit! So I made a quick trip spent an hour working with a saleswoman who seemed to know her stuff..(only later did I discover that she knew nothing about the process) 1 year same as cash..ok. (note: they not only didn't mention the fact that if you did not pay the full amount the interest accrued would be on the full purchase price but when questioned assured me that wasn't the case..Read your contract, this little deception will cost me 1000 if not paid off by Jan 2015) Delivery was yes, to the wrong location. I requested a credit for the delivery as I had to go to my mail center to pick up (three trips) and take to my home and install myself. Guess the manager conveniently thought I would forget..I didn't but not wanting to go back to the store and raise a fuss, I decided I would just fill out the rebate for the "free" delivery and wait the 8 to 10 Weeks until I had to call in and fight through the phone tree, the subsequent mouth-breather and then a manager to tell me that the check will be sent out directly. But wait...the rebate form has an expiration date..Post marked by...two days after I made the purchase. Can you say slimy? Anyway..let's shorten this to encapsulate my experience. If you buy from these people, you my friend are a fool and you know what they say ..about fools and their money tending to go separate ways. The funniest things about the experience if you can call anything funny is that I actually received a "payment booklet" Really! a payment booklet just like the one you get when you bought a car in 1987. Not surprisingly, the amount I needed to pay would fall well short of the actual total needed to not be charged the interest, in my case a cool grand which if paid by the booklet would add 11 more months to the payments. Beware young ones...these people are sharks. They prey upon the poor, financially ignorant and the stupid. Luckily, I have the financial wherewithal to drop the $350 per month (double the amount required) to have this paid off before the deadline. The prices are comparable but the tactics are used car. Yes that flat-screen is gorgeous and for only 119 per month totally doable....but the sale price is quickly made up by the additional interest you will pay making that great deal...not such a great deal. Use your head. The 1500 I spent on my washer and dry will cost me 2200 if not paid off in time. Tack on the insurance they require you to buy but simply don't mention, another 120 making the purchase if not paid in full 2300..ahhhh the eyes how they open..then the light shines through. The lost delivery charge ? Add another 80.. Well, you get my point 2400 for a set that started at 1500..but don't forget the warranty....add 600..( I cancelled that, hence the f' up with the delivery) but hey! read more

I'm disappointed to be writing this review but others need to know about my experience. It's a little long but stick with me. Members of my family have been loyal Conn's customers, buying a refrigerator, several tvs and washer and dryer there in the past several years (before their move to the new location). For each of those purchases, we were able to negotiate the price of the item and get a great deal. Conn's was our first stop when the bf and I were looking to purchase a new washer and dryer. We expected to find some good prices during the 4th of July weekend. John was the salesperson who first approached us and he was very nice and seemingly passionate about washers and dryers! We zeroed in on a model we liked and the price was "marked down" from $1,199 each to $799 each. Seemed like a great deal, but we wanted to check other retailers first. I told John we would likely be back and he brought store manager Jeff over to say hi. Jeff said he would do anything to earn our business and would not be undersold by another retailer, so to come back after we checked other prices. He stated that Conn's price matches other retailers and gives you 10% of the difference as well. I asked if that meant an advertised price, so I had to have a paper ad in my hand, or a retailer's every day low price as well. I asked Jeff this specifically and he said he would not be beat by any retailer's price, advertised or otherwise, so I did not have to have a paper ad. Conn's sale price of $799 was also ending that day. We checked Fry's, Home Depot, Sears and Amazon.com. Nebraska Furniture Mart was closed on 7/4. The stores we checked had the washer and dryer for $799 each or within a few dollars of that price. I wanted to give Conn's my business, and expected to get a good deal, so we returned later that day expecting to purchase the items. I explained to John and Jeff that their "sale price" was not a great deal, as everyone else was selling it at the same price as well, so I asked him to do a bit better on the price. Jeff then informed me there is no wiggle room on the price and it is what it is, his hands were tied from doing anything at all. I asked about our previous purchases where the manager was able to negotiate price and was told that Conn's went public 3-4 years ago and since that time there was no price negotiating, and also because people were taking advantage of it. So then I asked if we could get it delivered the next day (there are signs everywhere about next day delivery) and was told no, they were already full on delivery for Sunday. Jeff was asked if maybe he could squeeze us in (he did say he would do anything to earn our business) and we were told there was no possible way. So, we left, with somewhat of a bad taste in our mouth. Doing anything to earn our business apparently meant doing nothing. I told John that I was going to check Nebraska Furniture Mart's prices the next day. John had gotten my phone number and texted me the next day asking about NFM's prices. They were about $10 cheaper each. John said the washer and dryer we wanted remained at $799 each for that week at Conn's. On Friday, I again checked with NFM, they were $26 cheaper each. (I did not want to buy from NFM given their poor delivery reviews). I text John to confirm he would match the prices and I planned to purchase the washer and dryer that evening. He responded that the manager would not match the price but would give me a $75 gift card *after* my purchase for my next purchase! John was very apologetic and I know none of this was within his control. I called Jeff and asked for an explanation about why he said he would match the prices and now he wouldn't. He kept saying he was sorry he couldn't but wouldn't give me a reason why. Then he said it was only advertised prices. When I reminded him I asked him that specific question and he had said otherwise, he apologized for the "miscommunication." When I pressed further that there was no miscommunication and he outright lied, he said a VP had been at the store today and would not approve the price match. I asked if they really thought it was a great business decision to lose me as a long-time customer over $52 and he said no but could do nothing. End of the story, we went to Fry's where we felt valued as customers, the department manager (not even the store manager) was empowered and bent over backward to earn our business and we got a FANTASTIC deal. I will not patronize a business where I am lied to and that is exactly what happened here. I fully expect a response to this review to spin this story but this is what happened. Bought an 55 in TV a year ago and the picture went out. Called customer service for repair, next available was 8 days out! Called GM @ Plano, nothing he can do. Called repair service 9 times left 3 different mangers 9 messages, today still no call back from anyone of those managers. Called customer service yesterday: "man there is nothing we can do , Its a separate issue" so customer service and repair apparently can't communicate. I will NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM CONNS Again. The customer service here is great, they jump right on you when you walk in the door. BUT they also just try to make there comission off of you instead of help you. I am a very gullable person and I suck at making desicions... You think they would want to help you in deciding what to do... Not want you to get something just so they will make their comission. This may be the only place you can afford. BE FOREWARNED. Just bought first house, need to furnish. After looking around for financing, Conn's seemed to be the place to go at 36 months, 0%. Fine...I know I haven't heard great things (Conn's is the place to go if you can't buy outright, are poor, have bad credit, blah blah blah) but why pay for something up front when I can finance it for free (time value of money means I'm actually paying less). At first, I thought these reviews were perhaps one-off disgruntled customers, because when I called over the phone the customer service seemed to be spot on. Alas, the reviews are true. I spoke to Alvin with my 10-month old crying in the background (apologies were also communicated). I specifically said "I want to do a joint application with my husband". He assured me he could do that. I proceeded to hand over my precious identity and he said he was running it and the approval would take a minute...whoa whoa whoa. Alvin...don't you need my husband's info? Yes, after this we will add it. I should have known right there. He said I came back approved for a $3K credit card which would have the interest of whatever special they had on the item I bought (i.e., 36 month 0%), and that it was taking a minute for the loan financing approval amount, which would be a separate amount. Since we would have to go up there anyway, I said let me pack up my husband and kid and we will be up there in a minute. After arriving, we perused the items we wanted (fridge, washer/dryer, OTR microwave), and waited around. Alvin stopped by to tell us he was just finishing up with other customer. His manager then came over and tried to explain the subtle differences of the washer/dryers. Upon deciding on a pair, we then went back to the desk to give my husband's info for the "joint credit application". Lo and behold, my husband was also approved for a $3K credit card and another financing loan. AS IN, IT WAS NOT A JOINT APPLICATION, IT IS 2 SEPARATE APPLICATIONS. Indeed, we now have 2 separate accounts, 2 separate bills, 2 separate payments, 2 separate irritations with the same store. To top it off, now that they have run our credit...the washer/dryer are magically not in stock and Alvin can't guarantee when they will be. I called corporate immediately while in store to complain about the false advertising both online and in-store, they called the manager, the manager told them when the new shipment would be in, they told me that date, I told Alvin that date, and he still expressed that it is not guaranteed, no matter what his manager says. Great. I called Home Depot and gave them all the model numbers of the items we wanted. Fridge was $10 more, as were the washer and dryer, but the microwave was $40 cheaper and the install was $20 cheaper. Home Depot only has 6 months financing and can't run my credit over the phone. I told my husband I want to leave and go to Home Depot (because we don't really need to finance any of it -- so I don't care about the 6 months). He, being the sane logical man he is, put his foot down and said we weren't running our credit anymore and we were buying here even though all of this is shady AF. We ended up getting a different washer/dryer set that could be delivered when we need it (WE WILL SEE IF THAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS, AS THERE ARE MULTIPLE REVIEWS STATING UNRELIABILITY OF DELIVERY). So...we will see how this all pans out...delivery...interest-free financing...if I have to pay it off immediately I will (I am fortunate to have the ability), but make no mistake. This is a used-car dealership for furniture and appliances. You have to wait at every step of the transaction, go back and forth from the "office" to the front (paperwork is done at the little cubicles, payment is made up front). It's disgusting. I am thoroughly disgusted. Needless to say I have learned my lesson and will just take the shorter financing terms at other places next time I need furniture or appliance. I WILL NEVER RETURN. Then I called Best Buy and they said they could deliver in a week but then we also have to schedule the installation on a separate day -yeah like I wanna miss work 2x. Then I called Conn's, I was surprised to hear an actual sales person answer right away not a machine or receptionist. I said I need a W&D he said good I want to sell you one. I went in at 8PM and the W&D was delivered and installed the next day at 9AM, same price as Sears & Best buy, but with way better service. I inquired about purchasing a TV, as I consistently received mail notifications that my credit line had been extended due to my stellar payment record. The person helping me could barely speak English and had no idea how to help me. Upon asking for a Manager (who wasn't any better) I was told that I didn't qualify?? Rhosie my salesperson made me feel special she is very professional and did not try to sell me something I did not need. Rhosie is smart and very knowledgeable of the product also she is patient and to happy answer your questions. The purchase was quick and easy and she made sure I understood the terms of my contact. And after the sale there were some things I had to return, I called Rhosie and she was there for me once again she even walked me through the delivery process. I purposely asked them to notify me in enough time to make arrangements if items could not be delivered. During 2015 I have purchased a number of things from Conn's and have overall been pleased with everything. On November 30, 2015 I purchased a Husky Power Recliner for my 91 year old husband who is in an Alzheimer's group home. At that time I foolishly allowed myself to be coerced into purchasing your Furnituregard plan. On Saturday, December 12, 2015 the recline control stopped working. On Sunday, December 13, I contacted the repair number and was told someone would be in touch with me within 24 hours to set up an appointment to make the repairs. After several days with no contact I again called the repair number and was told the earliest available appointment would be on December 30, 2015. Technically, I would think the chair was still under warranty but none of the numerous people I spoke to in regard to Furnituregard would address the question. As so often happens with this sort of plan the consumer has no recourse and no way to work out something to get repairs done more quickly. Having the chair has been a wonderful thing for my husband since he often is unable to sleep in his bed at night and is able to sleep in the recliner. I am doing everything possible to make this World War II Pacific Theater veteran comfortable and reasonably happy in this very hard and trying time in his life. Even though he has the disease he is still mentally alert and aware of his surroundings. I know there is nothing to be done about it at this point but I see nothing to do on my part but to contact an independent repair person to get the chair fixed. This store's employees are completely different from the other Conn's. They are professional and knowledgeable and not pushy or misleading. My initial experience with Conn's in North Dallas initially turned me off from buying from them, but I am glad I decided to pop into this one. I worked with Reuben and he had me out of their in an hour. He explained my financing options in a way that I could understand them and definitely went above and beyond on customer service. He was a very honest and transparent salesperson, which is rare these days! (I know, I am in sales myself!) I would say, if you have had a negative experience with Conn's in the past, give this location a try! It was completely different experience and even the store itself seemed cleaner, brighter, and well taken care of. Customer service contacts you about a deliver time OF THEIR CHOICE. You have to make time for them. If their time frame doesn't work for you, you must select another day for delivery. Well, I've shopped at Conn's before, and have always had good service, but this time it was exceptional. I was moving into a new place, so I wanted some new bedroom furniture. I haven't bought new bedroom furniture in 10 years, so I was a bit confused at what I really wanted, because there's literally a lot to choose from. Well, I think I got lucky when I got Rhosie Shaver, because she spent a couple of hours with me picking out the right bed and especially the mattress. I have slept so good on that mattress since I got it. Rhosie was helpful, and polite, and so very sweet. I don't think i've seen anyone smile that much, and she even laughed at my corny jokes...haha Even when it was suppose to be delivered, she let me know a few days in advance that it would be delayed because the shipment to the warehouse with my mattress was late and backordered. So I didn't have to wait all day on my Saturday wondering where the delivery was. Juan is an amazing sales person, I would give him five stars!!! The reason I only gave them two is soly due to their horrible delivery service. I went in two and half weeks ago, picked out my sofa set (sofa, loveseat & recliner) and schedule the delivery for Friday August 9th. I took the day off work because all they could give me was a date and no time. Someone called me the day prior to confirm my delivery date & address. Then Friday rolls around and no one showed up. I got a call that evening from the manager who said they took it up on themselves to reschedule delivery a week later due to my loveseat being out of stock. I was furious. Demanded a partial delivery and they said they would bring my sofa & recliner first thing Saturday morning August 10th. I waited around most of the day Saturday, still no delivery. Called Juan (my sales man) and he was so nice to track down that they again took it upon themselves to reschedule my delivery for the following week. Again, so frustred with them, the earliest I am able to get my order is Wednesday August 14th. Really? Wow I will NEVER order from Conns again. First of all, you should never even step foot in this place. They sell scratch and dent along with along with other appliances that they have rigged up to fail. They do provide a 2 yr. warranty. Let me tell you about the hell I have gone through. October 2012 I buy a washer, Two weeks later my washer stops working, I call for service. The first appointment they have is 2 weeks out. I'm a little perplexed but fine. 2 weeks later the tech shows up empty handed he looked at my washer for 5 min and says "okay I will have the part ordered and we will call you soon. 6 days go by. I finally receive a call and they make an appointment for 10 days out. Now we are going on a month and then some for a part to be installed. Okay dude comes out installs the part in 5 min. I take you to Jan 2014 my washer stops working again. 4 weeks later they finally have a new motor for my washer. April 2014 washer stops working again, 3 weeks later it is fixed. Now, 10/15/2013 my washer is flashing "LE" by researching online I know it's a board that needs to be replaced. This time Conn's had someone out in 6 days. Sadly, I was excited. This jerks shows up with a clipboard and pencil along with bad teeth. He doesn't even fake like he is testing my washer he only asked me what's wrong with it, I tell him and he says "well I will contact LG and see what they tell me. WOW! So I email Conn's for the 400th time and she says eta for new parts is a week. My appointment was for today but I receive a call stating the tech is sick he will be out tomorrow. No matter who I contact who I email what I do it's always the same old story same old song and dance. This is by a mile the absolute worst customer service I have seen or will probably ever see. I made a large purchase & after paying on it for 11 mo I owed more than I borrowed!! I sent a check to pay off in full. They still have not posted it to my acct. It has been nearly a month!! I sent them proof that they cashed the check on Nov 21 which was over 2 weeks ago, yet my balance is still going up!! Not only will I never finance with them again. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE WITH THEM!!! My mother and I called the Plano store about a free iPad promotion the store was running with the purchase of qualified mattress sets. Darryl answered my call, and was more than courteous in delivering the information we had requested. Towards the end of our call I informed him we would be in later today to take a look at the Tempur Pedic mattress I called to inquire about. He kindly asked we sought him out when arriving at the store. When walking into the store we were greeted by a salesman, and I asked to speak with Darryl. After our formal introductions Darryl took us to the back of the store where the mattresses were, showed us the benefits of a full foam mattress, and kindly invited us to walk around the store while my mother and I discussed if this was the mattress for her. Not once did Darryl come bother us and ask if we were ready (which was fantastic - no one likes a pushy salesman). We walked over to where Darryl was sitting and informed him we would like to apply for the 36 months interest free financing. He was more than helpful on getting us approved and taking care of the whole process. We wound up getting the Tempur Pedic mattress, box spring, three Tempur Pedic pillows, a computer desk, and the warranty on the mattress which included a free mattress protector. To top it all off we also received a completely free iPad Mini with free next day delivery! We were more than pleased with our whole shopping experience, and will most certainly be returning for future purchases on the whole purchase! Darryl needs a raise! If there was a way to put zero stars I would!!!! This company is a joke! They are beyond disrespectful and could care less how there customers are treated!!! My husband and I spent $7,000 with this company for them to come out not put anything together and told me they are not allowed to put it together which was a lie after speaking with customer service! The one thing they did do was put the handles on my fridge! And even that was done horribly they put the handles on over the plastic so now I have plastic I can't get off my brand new fridge!!! I called in the same day I got my delivery to not only complain but tell them I did not get the rug I ordered. They then told me I could come pick it up from the local store after 24 hrs because the system needed to update that I didn't receive it. Guess what it's been a week and I still can not get my rug! I have called everyday to try and get it and been told the system is not updated and there is nothing they can do to help me! so I have requested to cancel the rug we will see if that happens DO NOT SHOP HERE THIS COMPANY IS TRASH! Me and my husband purchase a table from this store and picked up from the warehouse. When we got home the top of the table was warped. We immediately called the store the store told us to call service, service told us there was nothing that could be done about it. We called the store back and was told the manager Andy would contact the warehouse and would get back in touch with us. We never got a a call back, so we had to call and was given the run around fom different associates. Everytime we called the managers were busy and could never talk to us. We were told that we would get a call back and never did. My husband went to the store to speak with a manager and spoke with Andy was basically told that there was nothing they could and we needed to deal with it and his voice had gotten horse because he had talked to us so many times over the phone trying to deal with the issue. Seriously! We spend $1200 and get damaged products! Their customer service is horrible, we should have walked out and not purchased when the sales associate helping us did not know what do when processing our sale. That should have been our first clue. Now we are a week away from Christmas and have no where for my family to eat dinner because of this poor qaulity poduct and poor qaulity manager who blames his customers! I now have to wait 72 hours for their corporate office to call me back to come to some type of resolution. I do not recommend this store and their poor associates. read more

Worst place to get your furniture from. My husband and I had put in an order for a full bedroom set, it has been a full month and we have yet to receive it all. The very first Night we went there they told us they had it in stock and we would be able to get it next day. we call up the next day to see when they were going to deliver and they said they didn't have it in stock. It has been like this every time, then finally they deliver the things they had in stock and since the didn't have everything, they left it in boxes in our bedroom for a full week. Came back after a week with some of the other pieces that were missing, and still weren't able to set everything up because the foot board was damaged, and they left all of that at our house as well, until the beginning of the next week, and they were finally able to set our bed up. We still do not have everything though. When we talk to the managers, they say they will "try" to get it out the next day, but after not hearing from them, we call and find out it will be 2 weeks before the shipment comes in. We don't even want the bedroom set anymore because of all the hassle, but they apparently have a no return policy. So we are stuck with this. So upset with everything. They gave us 200 back for the trouble, but it makes absolutely no difference when we are going to have to pay 2500+ for the whole set. Don't even bother going in to the store. read more

A long time customer of Conns, I was surprised to hear that they do not stand behind their product regardless of warrantee! Observed material on my Dakota leather sofa head rest on the recliners began peeling away. My warrantee had just expired after 4 years. Mind you, this was not a "wearing" issue. The material just started to peel off the sofa. Contacted the customer service only to receive the 'after warrantee' response. I explained that there was something inheritedly wrong with the material. Conn's rep remained adamant with their response that my claim is after the warrantee thereby expired without customer resolve. Phoned leather furniture repairer who informed me that blended leather lasts only for 3-4 years then breaks down ususally peeling from the furniture! I must believe that Combs had to be aware of this material flaw. Warning, do not purchase blended/bonded leather furniture from Conns. read more

Run!! Absolutely horrible Customer Service. I opened a line of credit with them and was approved instantly. i was unable to pick up the item due to the fact it would not fit in my car. I recieved a call Christmas Eve asking when was I going to pick up the item and I told him 1/4/2014 when I move so I will have a Uhaul. I called the store today to let them know I will be picking up the item and to have it ready. The rep told me it was canceled. I have a signed contract and recieved 4 different reasons why it was canceled and the manager only could tell me that I would have to speak with the GM on 1/9 when he return. My sales rep Lucky provided awful customer service as well as the Manager Don. If you must go here please see Dee or Juan. Lucky obviously is doing great with sales and have no time to service the customers he has already sealed the deal on. HORRIBLE!!!!! So many other awful details but there is not enough space to go on and on. read more

BEWARE! Bought a fridge this past September when they had a 0% interest special advertised. I sit down with Alex, we go over the paperwork and details and once again am informed that I have qualified for interest free financing for a year. I check my account a couple of months later and find out that not only am I being charged the interest I was promised not to have, but it has been accumulating since we bought the fridge. I talk to customer service and they tell me they cannot do anything and I have to go speak with the manager in person. I speak with the manager and tells me he never approved my application for 0% interest. When asked why I was not made aware of the application being denied, he said he didn't know because he didn't approve it. Doesn't make any sense right? Then he proceeds to tell me that I may have been lied to! Does the manager not oversee applications? I am upset at the deceitful practices pulled by this location and I suggest you do not finance through them. read more

So first things first... I went with Conn's because they told me my couches and washer and dryer would be delivered that weekend.. it's going on three weeks now and I haven't received any of my purchases... I contacted Dre the first weekend they didn't come and he said it would be next weekend so when that weekend came I hadn't heard from them... so I called and APPARENTLY it couldn't be delirvered till Tuesday I had to talk to three different people and I had to repeatedly call them and I still hadn't gotten an answer until 6pm... everything about my experience was unacceptable I have s two year old so I definitely need a washer and dryer so when I'm promised something it needs to be done. Also I told Dre I could only do weekend deliveries. He was so worried about making a sale he lied to me... so now I have to take off from work for my delivery hopefully tomorrow! Idk no one has contacted me about it and they were suppose to call me about a discount which I still haven't heard from them and it's been since Friday and is now Monday. I have worked many sales jobs and I know things can be done for costumers. I obviously am not a appreciated costumer because I haven't even got a call back for a discount I was promised. read more

I am very disappointed with this company. I have had numerous accounts with them over the years and the credit department really messed me up. They set up a payment arrangement one time for me due to hardship and I was told everything was OK. The rep did not set it up correctly - this was a special program and I was given a half payment one month which was paid on time. I was told my account would show current and this is something they do to help their customers. I get a call 2 weeks later telling me I didn't make my payment. Then I am reported to the credit bureau as 30 days late and this dropped my credit score by 30 points. I am telling you, if you have any other options of buying something do not buy here. The people at the call center are not trained, and will not elevate the call to anyone. It is a dead end and this is actually illegal. I am filing complaints with every regulatory agency including the Attorney General of Texas, The US Attorney General of the US, and the Federal Trade Commission. Really, they should treat their long time customers better than this rather than commit misrepresentation and commit criminal acts. Luckily I have all my calls captured with an app on my phone. I would highly recommend you record and document any transaction with these liars or they will try to illegally ruin you. SCAM!!! read more

Was able to purchase new washer and dryer from them. Used the Yes credit and the conns credit card. Paid off both units in two years with 0% interest and got 4 year extended warranty for both units. Only two years into the warranty and they tell me my washer will not be covered for fixing. Started making a loud noise on spin cycle a few weeks ago. Tech came out and diagnosed the situation. Asked me if we had moved the units since buying, yes we did. Come to find out that we should not have moved it without anchoring the drum to the frame with bolts, which we never received upon delivery and no one told us about this rule. Tried to escalate issues higher, they said they would transfer the claim to the "resolution dept" and said the same BS. Spoke to a manager and she said that, that dept is the highest it can go. Terrible customer service, I payed both units off and the extra warranty in two years and they can't help me. Hopefully someone sees this and runs away. read more

What can I say about Conns? Awful. One of the worst furniture store I have ever purchased from. My boyfriend and I purchased from Conn's in April of last year and since then the nightstand handle had been broken off THE FIRST DAY WE GOT IT. My boyfriend made an effort to contact furniture repairs and nothing. No one even attempted to send someone to look at the nightstand. Finally in November, our bed broke. With our mattress on the floor, we attempted to contact Conns furniture repair yet again. They promised someone would come out to help us and look at the furniture but no one ever called or made an effort to come out and inspect the furniture. We called a total of 5 times and each time they told us they would send someone as soon as possible or they claim someone would try to contact us but couldn't get through the line. I find this hard to believe when no one else has an issue contacting me or my boyfriend. And conns never seems to have a problem contacting us when they need the payment for the furniture. I will never do business with conns again! Worst customer service of my life is an understatement. One star is a courtesy I can assure you. read more
