First red flag, but not a deal breaker. Went to the store and saw the chairs in person, asked to purchase four. The salesperson said they were "in the warehouse" and he'd "have to check if the owner will break up the set." The set? They are listed as single chairs. He promptly came back and said no, it's 3-4 weeks for them to order the chairs. Huh? I asked for four chairs before coming in! We left and purchased chairs elsewhere. I got to Vine after checking out Bliss and OP Jenkins (which is just accross the street). I had actually set my mind on a dresser I found about two days prior at Bliss (west showroom). I pretty muched walked in there to hand over my money and take the dresser. Sadly I couldn't get anybody to attend to me so I drove downtown to check out OP Jenkins. Didn't really find a dresser I liked there so I walked across the street to Vine. Vine Furniture is an interesting store. In a good way. You can immediately tell that the furniture is of slightly lesser quality than the other two stores I visited. Not bad furniture. Functional but not as fancy. It was also hot in there. I think they were probaly trying to save on their cooling bill and I don't blame them for that at all. Anyways. it is a good size showroom with about four levels. I had really amazing help. She came to find me, pointed out where the dressers were, left me on my own device and checked on me after about 20 minutes. She then helped me find something I hadn't noticed that I ended up buying. I was really impressed by the service I got at Vine (instead of pretty much being ignored at Bliss). My new dresser ended up costing about 1/4 less than what I had planned to spend at Bliss. Which worked out perfect cause I could then buy my dogs a fancy dog bed I had been considering for a while. Oh, and I got a 10% discount for paying for it outright instead of financing. They also deliver free downtown. They pretty much have everything one needs to furnish a house. Again, probably not the fanciest furniture but one can definitely find very cute and functional items. At a great price too. Trumped by really awesome service. They most certainly have my vote!

We went there to purchase a washer and dryer. The department manager told us he spoke with distribution and we agreed to a delivery date that worked for everyone. At 9 p.m. the day before delivery we were called by the store manager to tell us the department manager had lied, no one had spoken with distribution and the product would not be delivered as agreed, it would take an additional 4 days. I can't believe the store manager called to inform me one of his employees blatantly lied to us and basically there was nothing he would do about it, but if we would like we could pick it up rather than take the free delivery. He offered to call me back first thing the next morning and, without surprise, we never heard from him. I can't imagine how service would be after the sale if service is this bad during the sale. read more
