I recently stopped by Conns in Burleson. As I was walking from the parking lot into the store, I saw a dead bird that had been there awhile. i was immediately greeted by a sales representative named Tyla. I told her I was looking for a power recliner. She let me look then I asked her if she could plug in the chair so I could try it out. She said we don't have the plug for that one. I went to a couple of more chairs same comment "I don't have none of the cords and don't know where they are at":Then she started yawning and acted like she was bored to death. I sat on the last loveseat I looked over and saw a dead wasp in the seat next to me. I'm very allergic thank God I didn't sit on it. As I was leaving, she was telling me a story about something and dropped the "f" bomb. STAY AWAY!!! Worst customer service I've ever experienced. read more

Bought a living room set 5 months ago. The couch and recliner are splitting at the seams. They said they sent a repair kit built I never received it. I don't want a repair kit. They said it's not refundable. I want my money back and they can come get there junk. Why would I have to do a repair on new furniture. My next step is the BBB. read more

When you are shopping in store, the associates are great. Well, of course they are, they are commission based and want to make money from your sale. However, never become delinquent on your account, no matter the reason. They will begin to harass you, and degrade you. We became delinquent on our account due to contracting COVID three times in 6 months and being out of work for two weeks each time. Not to mention we had a newborn baby at home and my mother who is on oxygen. Then to top it all off, as we start getting caught up, someone hits and totals our car and runs. When they asked me why I was behind on my payment, I explained all that plus more. The response I received when I said I was struggling to pay my electric bill, was "what about this bill?". Then after setting up a payment arrangement, the lady asked me about my tax return and if I got anything from that, when I said "no, it all went to the IRS" she asked about my husband's tax return. "No lady, we filed joint, it all went to the IRS" . They call at least 4 times a day, I'm sorry, I'm working 3 jobs trying to get my life back on the right track, I don't have time or patience enough to argue with heartless people who always make me cry. I will never use them again unless I can pay cash outright. I don't recommend others to either. Their products are decent, but at this rate, they can come get it all, it's not worth the amount of anxiety and stress that comes with dealing with their service center people. read more

Do yourself a favor and go across the street to Sears, Lowes, ANYWHERE else to buy your appliances. At least if one of your appliances break, those companies will actually help you instead of running you in circles. I am SO MAD at myself for buying appliances from here. Next day delivery is completely BS. Called delivery they schedule me 6days out! Was able to change it to the day after... only to find out that they gonna deliver now on another day instead of planned. Awful experience. Not to mentioned that I waited for all paperwork to be done by salesman for 2 hrs. Save yourself trouble on waiting for your appliances on a scheduled day and go to Best Buy or some other store. read more

We ordered a fridge from here because they promised delivery on a Thursday when everyone else wasn't scheduling until Saturday/Sunday. When Thursday came, we waited in our delivery window with nothing. After the window passed, we called and eventually were told the fridge never made it on the truck. No one from Conns ever communicated this and it took MULTIPLE phone calls to even get that information. Friday we still never heard anything and couldn't get a clear answer on when the fridge was expected. Finally by Saturday they claim it will be delivered Monday. First of all the name of this place is perfect CONN'S. Ok all I can say is stay away. I was lied to about the interest rate. Told me it was 29.9 which is ridiculous. Well went over my paper yeah 43.9. I bought the bose soundt bar for 699.99. I asked the salesperson in the store if anything else was hooked up to there demo he said no. Well the sub woofer was so mine sounds like crap. They basically told me I could bring it back at a cost of 105.00 for restocking fee. Stay away from purchasing ANYTHING from Conn's. I have been a good repeat customer but enough is enough. I am on day 40 with no dishwasher installed and working. My old one was under warranty but you have to give this company 30 days to try and fix it before they will do anything else. I did, they no longer carry whirlpool dishwashers and were unable to get a new motor. On day 30 went back to the Burleson location to pick out a new dishwasher. Upgraded and had to purchase a new warranty on Monday, March 8th then had to wait until Thursday March 11 for it to be delivered. The delivery man just unwrapped it and put in the middle of my kitchen.....no install....no haul off old dishwasher. We went back to the store next day and they said they would look into it and call us back as since under warranty it should have been installed and old unit hauled off. for the last 7 days NOBODY can give me an answer...the store states the delivery dept is being rude to them...........humm, how is that my problem? I was promised a returned phone call as to status yesterday. NO CALL - this morning I was told I needed to be patient and they would get back to me. RUNNING out of patience. No wonder Conn's is rated 1 1/2 stars............A letter to the ceo was sent this morning. If I could provide a lower star I would, but to use the app I have to at least put one star. When we purchased and financed the furniture we set a due date and I explained I am not always paid on that exact same date each month, but very close to it. I was assured that this would not be a problem. As your due date nears please understand the harassment begins, and I due mean prior to the due date. Be prepared to hear from Conns 8 times before the due date as a friendly reminder. On the due date they will call over and over and over, your home, work, your spouses cell, really anyone they can find who knows you just to remind you that it is due on that day. I did pay on the due date, but guess what? The system did not update overnight so the harassment continued. Avoid this company at all cost. Your current furniture is better than the crap they sell. I wished I would have read the reviews first before we purchased a washer and dryer from Conn's back on 7/24/21. They delivered two weeks later but a incorrect part to attach them together. They are stackable. The delivery person called the ware house and they said someone would call us later to get come back out with the correct part. I called the ware house a week later and they said they would call me back. They never call me back. I call ed again a week later and they said that the store had to order the part for them to go back out. I went to the store a s the manager tried calling the warehouse but no answer. She said she would find out something. We went back again last weekend. And of course it is too late to return it. The 2nd manager said he would check on it. I wanted to return it because of bad service but he he said we could. It even though washer and dryer are still sitting in the kitchen uninstalled. He never called so I called on Sat this past Labor Day weekend. He said it was not approved to be returned. He said we need to call to reschedule. I said no he needed a to call make the first scheduled available appt. we go a txt that the part would be delivered on Monday, Labor Day. They showed and left the part but did not install. The man said he just the delivery man. The washer still in middle of pantry and the dryer in the middle of the kitchen. I went back to the store. I let the manager know we got the part but the appliances were not installed. He called the warehouse and he said they were supposed to install them. Finally the deliver guys came back late that afternoon. They were pissed because the original part that was there was the correct part. The previous delivery guys did not know what they were doing or they did not want too install. Finally on 9/6//21 the washer and dryer were installed. We had bought a mattress there that same day too but we will never ever buy from there again. I said that too the 2nd manager and he said that was fine. I had to call every week every week after the delivery. I would not recommend Conn's at all. I should have made them take them back when they could not install but I trusted that they would come back with no problem. read more

Bought a dining room table and chairs and within 5 months noticed the legs were wobbly so I turned it over and the hardware was different from one leg to another, Some nuts had washers some did not and all of them were loose. They are like going to a fast food drive in, if you know they are cheap then you get what you want, but your order is probably going to be wrong or have problems with it. read more

I went to buy a new couch..had full intentions of paying cash. I found the couch I loved and decided to purchase this particular couch. Price tag was 2500$ Employee suggested I apply for Conn's YES credit. The only reason I considered it was for credit purposes. I did not get approved, but was approved for Progressive leasing program. What the employee failed to mention is that they have a minimum financing charge/fee no matter how quickly you pay it off. I paid 1k$ at the store the leasing company will not apply it to the total until I have paid off what I financed, so they can charge me interest for the higher amount. Soooo now I'm getting screwed out of finance charges, interest, extra leasing fee, AND not reporting to the credit bureau. The Conn's employee knew I only financed a portion of the couch to help my credit. I could have paid cash for this couch!! The store manger will not make it right and only apologized for the employees lack in knowledge. Horrible...I will never be back. read more

Never get anything from any conn's the intrest rate is ridiculous and do not take any of their insurance plans at all they will charge intrest rate on top of that. I went last week to make a 50.00 dollar payment which put my balance at $1075.00. I went today to make a 25.00 payment after that it said balance 1099.86. So I called my credit card company and ask them can they increase my credit line and told them why. They did so I payed Conn's off today and I will never step foot in Conn's again read more

We've bought several things from Conns & never had a problem before but this experience has been awful. We got a massage chair, it was over $3000. We wanted to just buy it but had to finance it. Ok fine. Monday they bring the chair. The guys are nice but absolutely clueless as to how it works or how to assemble it. They put it together wrong. The customer service called & said they wouldn't help me bc I didn't figure out it was wrong until they left. After several long calls, trying to mk me feel bad for their problems, they are bringing out a new chair. Hoping for btr experience today! read more

I financed a TV through Conn's in April. First, I had to hassle with them to get them to remove the insurance that I didn't need. Then, I couldn't figure out how they were coming up with the balance I owed. Mainly because their website only shows the balance. There is no detail about my payments or whether they removed the insurance or not. I had to call them to get them to send me a statement which wasn't much help either. Finally I called them back again to get them to tell me how they came up with their number for the balance due only to find out they charged me $100 loan processing fee! They neglected to tell me about this fee at the time of the sale. I would not have financed it through Conn's had they told me about this fee. I would have given them no stars if I could. read more

Avoid at all possible costs. Terrible service. We bought furniture only to be told a week later that what we were promised was not in stock and had to be ordered. Two weeks and fifty 50 phone calls later they still don't know when it might be in and show no interest in helping make it right. So far all they have done is stolen our money and they refuse to deliver a partial order of what they claim to have in stock. I shouldn't even give them one star! Our experience has been awful, and customer service is absolutely deplorable. Will never shop there again, and am suggesting to everyone I know to steer clear. We had purchased a mattress and had the option to pay it off without interest before one year. Well, we tried to do that. I had a cashier's check and on my way home after getting it, noticed the mail truck down the street. Ran in, addressed the envelope and dropped the final payment in the mail, I thought. A couple of months later (after the interest free payoff option had passed of course) we received a notice that our payment had not been made. It was then that I realized in my hurry to get that in the mail, I had sent the cashier check stub instead of the actual check. Not only did we owe them that money, but also the $500 interest that had accrued. Of course, they were not helpful in any way when we explained what happened. We weren't happy, but we paid it. Got a notice this past week, we still owed $272 more on the interest fee. My husband and I are both retired and on a budget, so their constant hits on our credit reports prompted us to pay that money as well. They are awful and unprofessional.
