I sold my home as part of relocating to a different state for work. I interviewed three different realtors from three different agencies: REA, Coldwell Banker, and Ansley. I decided to choose Connie from Ansley for the following reasons: 1) Ansley real estate is local and had been selling a lot in my neighborhood, which suggested they knew the area well and had a good network. 2) Connie was very professional, well informed and didn't oversell by telling me what I wanted to hear. She demonstrated knowledge of the market and offered advice. 3) Agreeing on a sales price is a key part of selling your property. Unlike other agents, who were encouraging me to market lower (despite market being at all time high), Connie was willing to take on the challenge of marketing at the higher end. Knowing that a $10,000 sales price difference is $9,400 to me but only $600 to the realtors, this told me Connie puts her clients needs before her's! 4) I liked the marketing strategy they offered. It was personal and different which made it feel like her agency thinks out of the box. Granted it was an unprecedented seller's market, I sold my place w/in 10 days and received 5 different offers, four of them above asking price which Connie astutely played to my advantage. Our family needed to relocate to the Atlanta area due to a job change.
