Originally called Nation Taxi service and tried arranging a ride to the airport with that company, but it was booked and they recommended Connections Taxi Transportation. The representative for Nation Taxi placed the representative for Connections Taxi on the phone and we booked our ride to the airport for departure. She arrived early and called to let us know she would be arriving early and asked if we could leave early if we were ready because she had someone in an urgent need to get to the airport. We were able to leave a few minutes early to accommodate the request. Once we arrived at the airport, she provided a card and said to call and we could book our return ride to our home from the airport. I called and spoke with a different lady at the business to book the return ride and all was supposed to be arranged. When we arrived at the airport, no taxi service waiting for us outside at all. I called and spoke with the lady I believe took the return reservation, she stated she has someone in dire straights needing to get to the airport and she wasn't there to provide our transport even though it was booked. I advised her that since the business didn't hold true to their reservation guarantee, I would not need to utilize their service at all and that I would find a different company to do business with. Called them a day ahead and scheduled a taxi to the airport for an early morning flight. Was told that the driver would be there at 4:10. At 4:15 we had to start walking to the airport almost a mile in the dark and cold after calling them with no answer. Never got a callback from the voicemail that I left. read more

So.... we get a taxi to airport to start our San Francisco , CA trip.... great gal picks us up and the fee is twenty. We return and " Bill".... picks us up upon me calling. He proceeds to take two people across Alcoa highway ( meter continues running) then takes us the long way home . I comment on this and he replies " interesting.... by the time we make our 10 minute trip to our house it's 29$ and some change. Never will I use them again and will tell everyone not to as well. I expect this kind of treatment in a big city , but this is home. We know the roads... seriously??!! If this is who is employed , I question the entire company. read more

Called for a taxi and they could not do it because they were booked up. If you need a ride urgently you had better book a week in advance. I called 24 hours in advance. I must have not interpreted what the word taxi meant correctly. The person who answered the phone was not nice either. read more

Everytime I have called for a taxi they have been very punctual. I generally ask for April to pick me up. She is very pleasant and a careful driver. I would definitely recommend them. read more

You know what happens when you overcharge people and leave them stranded. They send you somewhere far away on a fake call. Now how do you know when its a real call or not. Do you leave people stranded because you dont trust it. Sounds like you could lose money and business. Would never use you again. read more

I found out about this taxi from referrals on Facebook, they do good. Just be sure to ask questions because they don't tell you everything up front like prices and such. read more

yesterday doctors appt almost didn't happen. the local taxi has been unreachable for 3 weeks & the Lyft I ordered cancelled 1 hour before apt time. luckily CONNECTIONS TAXI in Maryville was available and got me there in 50 minutes!! reasonable rates, too. about half the price of lyft. We were referred to Connections Taxi by the Fairfield Inn Alcoa as they could not provide shuttle services from the airport to the hotel due to the pandemic. We were picked up promptly by a lovely lady who made the short trip enjoyable due to her happy and respectful demeanor. However, once we checked into the hotel and eventually realized there were no restaurants 'across the street' from the hotel, we were in need of transportation to a nearby restaurant. We contacted Connections Taxi and could not believe how rude and disrespectful the owner was when quoting a price over the phone. We paid $10 for a 3-mile trip from the airport to the hotel. However, we were quoted a price of $12 to a restaurant that was only 1.5 miles away. When I questioned nicely about the price difference, instead of explaining the price difference to me, the owner began to yell and stated 'I'm not going to dicker over $2.00, find another company' then proceeded to hang up the phone! So, I took his advice and called Uber, and the price was half the price I was quoted by Connections Taxi! (P.S. I initially asked the hotel if Uber was available in the Alcoa area, and I was told we would be better off calling Connections Taxi with whom they had a good relationship.
