Corissa Miniello initially came across as professional and reliable. We trusted her to care for…read moreour dogs during our week-long vacation, but were horribly disappointed when we returned home. Both dogs did not greet us at the door. They seemed very anxious. It was excessively warm in the house, no air conditioning had been turned on the whole time we were gone. Things had been moved around in my business office. Corissa used our Internet connection and my desk for her computer without our permission. And the garbage can outside was filled with heavily soiled pee pads - even though we have a fenced backyard where they usually go. One of the dogs has a heart condition, is on diuretic tablets twice daily, drinks extra water, and urinates more often. I had left pads in several locations, mostly for the overnight hours. Corissa admitted that she did not check the pads in the morning and that she only came to the house three times a day, instead of the four times we paid her for. She told me she "didn't have time", then justified it by saying she spent extra time during the last visits of each day. However, this was unacceptable to us and she didn't ask first either. When she did change the pads, they weren't put in the same spots, so there were also accidents on the carpet, which she did not clean. Corissa had assured us she would handle everything, but we feel she didn't listen to most of what we told her about our dogs, neglected to do even simple tasks, was careless, and rushed through the jobs she did do. She has denied doing anything wrong, and offered no refund or apology. We now believe Corissa is only capable of minimal care. We would not hire Furtastic Pet Services again.
