Dr. Breithart is clearly quite skilled and she certainly made me feel both comfortable and confident I was getting the right solution for my needs. After a thorough hearing evaluation, she then took the time to talk to my wife and I about our observations, my lifestyle and how that might affect the kind of devices chosen, and answered a slew of questions. Then and only then did she recommend a specific solution. I was able to try on demo models to confirm fit and functionality, and walked out with a great solution that day. In two weeks, just as promised, my custom hearing aides came in and I exchanged the demo models for my own pair. Dr Breithart carefully programmed them to my hearing tests, and then made minor adjustments based on my in office experience. Net result, after three months I have my hearing back and I often forget I am even wearing my hearing aids. I know my needs will continue to change, but I have Dr. Breithart on my side, and that gives me great confidence.

Having fully lost hearing once in each ear nearly overnight due to SSNHL (and regained it over…read moretime), I have worked with 4 ENT separate practices in the past decade all on an urgent basis. Dr. Randy Taylor has been exceptional, and clearly cares deeply for his patients and is my favorite doctor out of all of these visits. ENTOne has hands down been the best experience of them all so far. ENTOne was the first ENT practice I have ever called where the front desk staff understood the disease, and were willing to make a quick appointment for a hearing test. SSNHL is a true medical emergency, and is more likely to be permanent if treatment starts after 72hrs, so having a team that doesn't say "we need a referral from your primary" or "we're booked out three months" is truly incredible. So far it looks like I'll recover from this most recent episode, thank you Dr. Taylor & team! Hopefully this will be the end of my issues - but if they recur, I know where I will go.

Affordable hearing has two other offices, Centennial and Aurora. I went to the Centennial office. They won't check my ears because of the "wax". I went to my doctor and had them blown out. Not good enough. Now I have to go to an ENT. All the while the audiologist was saying she was not getting paid to help me, because my service contract was with Aranza. I paid $6000.00 for my hearing aids. Go someplace else!

This means a complete loss for me at this conference. My only recourse was to start calling Audiologists in the area and hoping for a solution. I had to have my conference roommate make the call as I can't hear anything on the phone. "Come on in anytime and we'll get you taken care of." What a relief! I was there within an hour with dead Oticons. The good doctor there (sorry I didn't catch your name, I'm deaf, haha!) had me test one in a charger. It worked! He's lending it to me for the time I'm here. Who does that without charging an arm and a leg? I was blown away by the generosity! The good folks here genuinely want to help. They saved my week at the conference in seminars and hanging out with old colleagues. My hearing is so bad I thought about just hanging it up and getting a return flight home. I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and trust shown to a complete stranger. You didn't have to do this but you chose to help. WOW!
