They had rooms filled floor to ceiling with every genre imaginable. It was like a game of book Jenga. Besides the trove of books, thy had so many charming gifts and trinkets that weren't just for bookworms. I bought almost all of my keepsakes from here. Because I'm surrounded by avid readers, I knew they would appreciate my presents. Service was top-notch! The staff really went out of their way to help me locate the books and gifts I was looking for. Plus, who doesn't love a bookstore with resident cats? They were adorable and it was hard not to pick them up and cuddle with them. But I know that they had a job to do and I did not want to interrupt their duties. If I had more time in Savannah, I would have visited E Shaver Books numerous times. But the two times I did, I had a marvelous time.

I took my time strolling around and picking out 3 or 4 books to get to replace the ones I had brought and read on vacation and left in little libraries. On our way to Flora and Fauna coffee shop we came across Graveface Records. Lot's of vinyl records…read more I picked up a classic Peter, Paul and Mary for $1. Beatle records were $30-$70. Many jazz records and other genre. Inside there was a good deal of record memorabilia. I have about 6 boxes of vinyls and a working turntable. Just needs a little love and maybe a new needle. I feel inspired and may come back here to add to my collection. It's great to have a turntable when wifi goes out! Also, there is just something magical and nostalgic about vinyls.

The two young guys working the front were super kind and chill. They were very friendly from the moment we walked in, and Quentin (the employee of the month) really deserves a raise, although I also think he's the boss. We found a cool red v-neck cardigan for $30 (IZOD), and a couple tiny hands that fit on a single finger. We would definitely like to spend more time looking in here!
