History
Established in 2021.
We just opened in September of 2021 but I've been living/riding and working on bikes in the Colorado foothills just west of Denver for the past 12 years. Simply put, I love bikes, and after a short stint in the tech world circa 2009 I started over as a bike mechanic in training. Over the past decade plus I honed my skills, worked on as many bikes as I could, rode a ton and learned from some truly great people in the industry. The result of the past 12 or so years of living bikes has only increased my passion and dedication to the sport and the people who enjoy it. I strive to create inclusive atmosphere and promote people riding bikes in any way that works for them. I believe in doing things right the first time and paying attention to the details and thats what Conifer Bike Shop is all about!
Meet the Business Owner: Rich S.
Many of you already know me, but if you don't my name is Rich and I've been living, riding, and fixing bikes in the Conifer/Evergreen area for the past 12 years. There was a short break in there when my lovely wife and I lived in Germany but we're back now and have no plans to leave again, Colorado is just too good! Anyway, I love bikes, I ride bikes, and I'm not bad at fixing them either. When it comes to bikes I pretty much love them all, I have raced on the road for over a decade, on a XC mountain bike for nearly a decade, I even dabble in fat bike racing, cyclocross, and enduro (although last time I raced enduro I broke my foot lol). Anyway I just love to ride and the sport has given me so much, I've met so many great people and been so so many amazing places on a bike, how could I not want to share that.
More than anything else I love bike people and I love helping people enjoy the sport. I strive to create an atmosphere of inclusivity and fun.
