This is a newly formed church, and it's exciting to see what God is doing through this ministry. Pastor Neal teaches directly from Scripture, and the messages are clearly rooted in God's Word. I look forward to hearing more of what the Lord has to teach through him as the church continues to grow. The church currently meets in a hotel meeting room, creating a casual and comfortable setting. What stands out most, however, are the welcoming hearts and smiling faces. From the moment you arrive, you feel genuinely welcomed. If you're looking for a church that is committed to biblical teaching and fostering a warm, friendly atmosphere, this is a wonderful place to visit.

Beth Messiah is truly unique because it has a non-denominational Christian sister congregation, Anchor Falls Church. I am very blessed to be a member at both congregations. Rabbi Jim Susler and Rabbi Frank Susler give inspirational sermons with an excellent Biblical foundation. I really appreciate the excellent music of the worship team as well. At Beth Messiah, Jews and Gentiles worship Yeshua (Jesus) in an ancient way.

This Temple is unlike the others I've been to in the Milwaukee area. It's kind of like "Cheers"…read more Members and staff work hard to know your name and include you so you have a sense of belonging. I first went here when I started going to their yearly rummage sales and after talking to the Rabbi, I started attending events. I eventually started volunteering there as well. It's important to note that I'm not Jewish, I'm Presbyterian. I feel more welcome here then my own church. While religious institutions are often geared towards those of the particular faith, there's resources here that people of any faith can benefit from. The yearly rummage sale is every June for a week and open to the public. They sell decent brand clothing by the bag full. There's lots of furniture including dining room and bedroom sets. If you have electronic items, furniture, household, automobiles they take them as donations and provide receipts for use with your taxes. Another great event is Vegas Night which takes place late in the year. They have casino games which winnings are converted into a discount you can apply to your bidding. When bidding begins they have a professional fast talking auctioneer that auctions off the goods. Items include restaurant certificates, vacation packages, artwork, sports tickets and more. While not a member, I have heard from friends that their membership costs are very low in comparison to suburban temples.

Visited St Paul's yesterday with a group on a Milwaukee Church Tour. Milwaukee has so many amazing…read morechurches, but it is impossible to top the stained glass windows at St Paul's. They have an amazing collection of Tiffany Stained Glass windows, including the largest window Tiffany Studios ever did for a church. To be able to take the opportunity to look at each of the windows - and yes, they even allow you to touch them - is really a treat. The process Tiffany used to simulate movement and texture in the clothing is truly remarkable. And the colors are fantastic, especially the turquoise of the rose window. The woodwork and tile in the church is also notable. The exterior of the church, including an ornate tower adorned with angels holding trumpets, is constructed from Lake Superior sandstone with a deep brick red color. The church was completed in 1884 and survived a disastrous fire in 1950. If you have an opportunity to see this church, don't pass it up.

I'm not Catholic, I come to humor my Chief of Staff, I'm sure it won't affect my reincarnation one way or another, and she thinks maybe this way I won't go to Heck when I pass on. Hence, my criteria here aren't cosmological or theological, only aesthetic, and this is a remarkable and ornate cathedral that's peaceful and humbling to sit in. I like to come early and leave late to experience the talented organist, the choir is professional quality, and on holidays they bring on a chamber brass ensemble. The one negative is the scary central hanging Jesus, with abstract accentuated crown of thorns and stigmata, it's not a friendly Jesus.
