The meal, served buffet-style, included a salad of seasonal mixed greens, rolls, mashed potatoes, mostaciolli sautéed in olive oil & garlic, chicken piccata, roasted vegetables (served cold), and chef-carved roast sirloin. Plated brownies were brought out for dessert. As far as banquet hall food goes, the quality was exceptional. The entertainer on this day, John Ludy Puleo, is a gifted vocalist who emulates the styles of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Tom Jones, Bobby Darin, and other Las Vegas greats of the '50s-'80s. Following lunch, his nostalgic 90-minute show delighted the audience. I was underwhelmed by the service at this event. If you wanted a beverage other than water, you had to go and get it yourself. When I pointed out a soiled half-filled water glass to a server, he actually picked it up, examined it, gave me a ridiculous "explanation," and set it back down on the table! Starting inside, the cocktail lounge room was a little dark, but would be a nice place to host a cocktail reception or dinner party. There was a bar area, fireplace with some couches, and plenty of tvs for any entertainment purposes. Adjacent to the cocktail lounge was the terrace, outside portion. Partially covered space and uncovered. It was a great space for some outdoor seating and games, as well as a space for kids toys and entertainment. The surrounding area has a beautiful park with the dam and playground. This would be a beautiful space for any event, the staff I spoke to was all very friendly and made our time there enjoyable!

For that price this better be a 4 star hotel - it isn't. 2) They put a $300 hold on our card for "incidentals". $300!!!! 3) We were told and given a card that said it's "bug" season and to keep all doors closed. Didn't matter, we never opened ours and there were bugs everywhere 4) The TV was ridiculously small, had a remote from 1980 the size of a brick, had no cable, and no app access to do anything with. Awful 5) The porch was dirty and parts of the molding were rotting away. Not like we went out due to the bug warning, but it was too filthy to contemplate sitting in. Very bare and boring. 6) The decor is all over the place. Black faucets for the sinks, chrome for the shower, satin nickel for doorknobs, and some ghastly gold rings for the ceiling lights from the 70s. Whomever did this must have used spare parts from somewhere else. No consistency at all. 7) The girl at the check in counter hated her job. Clearly evident. Even said the incidental hold was for if we destroy something. I'm 55 - what is this college? 8) Check in is a crazy 4pm. Checkout is 11am or $50/hour penalty. You're getting only 19 hours of time. 9) You don't so much as get a bottle of water in the room or a salt packet for the tub so bring your own. That $1 it would cost the hotel would be nice I'm sorry Geneva Inn - you're dated, old, and worthy of a 2 star hotel. Having a good view is not worth the cost here or your hidden fees.

The room has one bed they see I requested two beds, but they don't wanna move us housekeeping says there's plenty of rooms available front desk says there's no rooms available. It is one ratchet hotel, go to the grand Geneva same price and it's way way nicer. I think this was maybe updated 20 years ago smells like musty nastiness. It really is a joke. Don't come here.

The B&B is well appointed in charm and decoration....Randy, Tammy, and Debbie, took our experiences to the next level. Breakfast was on point both mornings....the guys in the group didn't get to enjoy much of the bfast on Saturday morning due to us running late for our tee times for golf, but what we did taste of the Quiche and those amazing Peaches, I would ask Randy to serve again on our next visit..... with a side of Rumchatta French toast. We will be back!

Bed was comfortable, living room/kitchen area was nice and the view is spectacular! I would stay here again for the view alone. The hotel was also nice and quiet/relaxing. They have spa services, but we did not partake. Walkable to shops, restaurants, and our boat tour. We will definitely return here for our next Lake Geneva visit.

Disappointing stay at Bella Vista…read more I was really looking forward to a peaceful and relaxing stay at Bella Vista Suites, but unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations. When I arrived, the bathroom sink had a drippy faucet and was full of dirty, standing water. I had to call twice to get it addressed. The TV in my room didn't work, and when I called the front desk for help that evening, no one answered. The next morning at 6:30am, I called again and was told to bring the remote down to the desk to see if the issue was just the batteries--at 6:30 in the morning, no less. I shouldn't be trouble shooting when I am paying for the room. I told the front desk that the remote worked fine on the other TV in the suite, so that clearly wasn't the problem. I left for breakfast, expecting it would be resolved, but when I returned, the TV still wasn't fixed and there was fresh standing water in the sink. To add to the poor experience, a sleeper sofa was propped up on its end in the hallway outside my room the entire time I was there. I had to walk past the exposed bottom of a piece of furniture every time I came or went. There was also trash bagged in plastic grocery bags left sitting on a random coffee table in the hallway--just not what you expect from a hotel at this price point. No gesture of goodwill or rate adjustment was offered despite multiple issues and inconveniences. Bella Vista Suites has a lovely location and a lot of potential, but the condition of the room and lack of responsiveness from staff made my stay disappointing. I hope management takes steps to improve both service and upkeep.

I arrived extremely late at night, and Bob was incredibly patient and stood outside with a flashlight to make sure i wouldn't miss the entrance to the B and B. The hosts were also very knowledgeable about local landmarks and things to do (and I really enjoyed visiting an observatory nearby that was just gorgeous and doing some shopping downtown -- was there for work so not much free time). The room is quaint, nicely furnished for the antique look, and has a very comfortable bed. (The Sunshine Room.) I would go back there in a heartbeat next time I am in Lake Geneva.

The place could use a serious renovation, but it still feels cozy despite its flaws, and we decided the price was fair and reflective of the quality we got. We stayed in the Sunshine Room and it was just fine. The place is about 10 minutes from downtown Lake Geneva. Breakfast was served to all the guests at the same time. Sue cooks and Bob plays waiter/busboy. Very, very tasty...Sue is a fantastic cook! Our only complaint was that the sheets weren't super soft and the towels might be the ones they bought when they opened the place 19 years ago...pretty scratchy and dingy. They could use some new ones. But otherwise we enjoyed our stay here. Sadly Bob and Sue told us they might stop running the place in the next year or so and hand things over to their son. Hopefully he will run things as well as they do!
