Ile is a hard working, down to earth guy who loves what he does and it shows.  We finally decided to get our back and side yard cemented and found Concrete Control here on Yelp. Glad we did. Ile, the owner, was super responsive and even did a same day site visit on his way home to give me an estimate. I found his prices to be competitive with other masonry companies I reached out to, but he was able to accommodate my project pretty quickly compared to the others since I was in a hurry to get this done within a certain timeframe. We hired Ile to do the work and he did not disappoint. He came when he said he would, did what he said he would do, all within a reasonable timeframe. He even noticed that our fence post was wobbly and offered to modify it slightly to accommodate the concrete and make it more secure. That also entailed him having to trim the fence gate, which wasn't in our contract, but he did it anyway as a courtesy, among other things. In short, he went above and beyond the scope of work we discussed in our contract. We would highly recommend Concrete Control. Don't let the few Yelp reviews deter you away from these guys. Needed to concrete a driveway and received about 6 extremely high quotes that were out of our budget. I'm not an expert but I know how to quote a job and understand labor costs so I didn't go with any of those companies. CC Concrete reached out and worked on a price that me and my wife were comfortable with. The contractor came out and did his measurements and provided a very fair quote. The whole process was very professional and he even answered all of my questions relating to the recent rain and effects it could have on the job. I would definitely recommend Concrete Control to anyone. The work is done by very cleanly and within the time frame that was originally conveyed to us. They set the expectations right in the beginning before starting the work. In addition, they did extra care in cleaning up the dirt and are very helpful. They showed full responsibility for all the tasks that was done. We remained happily without any worries as didn't require any follow-up in task completion. Ile was very courteous and clear through the process on the scope of project and was able to get this on his schedule within a week of signing contract. Our old patio turned out to be much thicker slab than expected, but Ile and his crew took care of it within the original time frame. If I had to describe my experience with Concrete Control, I would have just one word; Excellent! I'm sure a lot of you would understand when I say that, I previously dreaded other contractors that would promise you the world but were unable to deliver. With Ile and his team, this is definitely not the case, not only does he feel pride in what he does, he is also a man of his word! His crew was an absolute pleasure to work with. They helped completely redo and level my side yard with great ideas (the outcome was better than what I expected). He's been keeping me informed on the progress and always shows up on time. Please, do NOT hire Ile and Concrete Control. I am sorry to have to leave a poor review. He does come across as a nice guy. But, the quality of the finished product is poor. The design of the expansion joints allowed large cracks to start forming just two weeks after they finished. Less than two months after completion, and I now have a dozen cracks. All concrete cracks, yes. But how the contractor designs the joints and lines can minimize these cracks on the surface. Concrete Control and Ile did a poor job of this. I am now planning a complete redo of the project by another contractor. I am planning action against Concrete Control with the state license board as well, and I will try legal action. Deciding on a contractor for our projects is tough. Please, take my advice. Do not hire this company. Look elsewhere. Interesting to see Ile and the same phone number and company name in the state of GA. I just had him do this poor job in CA two months ago. Wondering if they skipped out of CA. Georgia, BEWARE.
