This client had no regard for respecting an agreed upon schedule (canceling last minute on many occasions) was habitually late expecting tutors to stay past the scheduled time, and would never pay her discounted monthly bill on time if at all. After attempting to work with this demanding and disrespectful client over the course of months, a written notice to discontinue services had to be sent in an attempt to amicably part ways and provide the client notice so that they could secure services elsewhere while advocating for the wonderful tutors who were being taken advantage of. Money was the last motive for Care 2 Learn as pricing was well below industry standards and scholarships were often provided by the five churches that hosted the tutoring services. It's sad to see that a person feels a need to retaliate after someone stands up to her mistreatment to protect my amazing dedicated staff of educators who considered this work as their ministry.

Given my recent experiences with the administration of the Care2 Learn Tutoring company, I would…read morestrongly discourage anyone from utilizing that company for their child. Care 2 Learn's administration states in their advertisement that they are doing their job " for the benefit of the student". I found that to be absolutely incorrect and false. Care 2 Learn's administration's primary objective seems to be to make money at the expense and growth of the child. Its administration is unwilling to cooperate with families or schools in order to provide what is appropriate and in the best interest of the student. Care 2 Learn 's administration will put up an initial front and will appear to be very nurturing for the student; however, I found that, when it comes down to it, the administration will abruptly stop all services if it in any way inconveniences the administration . This leaves the child with no one to help them and believing he/she has done something wrong. This is the absolute opposite effect you want on a child that is already presented with some educational and self worth challenges. Given my experiences, I would reconsider utilizing Care 2 Learn. I have since found, right here in Fort Wayne, many other companies and schools that truly care about the students!

My mom and I had done it with other family up in Michigan before, but this was Grandma's first time, and she was nervous. However, once I got a glass of wine for her from their little bar at the counter, she started cracking jokes left and right and making friends with everyone in the class. The painting leader person gave her a sticker for being the class jokester. They had a bunch of paintings with faces cut out, so I posed as the 11th Doctor from Doctor Who and the Goblin King from Labyrinth. My mom was Olaf from Frozen, of course. The class instructor encouraged us to post our photos to social media and the person with the most likes by the end of the class got a free painting! I posted mine too late in the class to get many likes, but it was still fun for a break in the painting time. We were supposed to be painting a spirit deer (like our patronus from Harry Potter), but my mom's ended up looking like a moose, so she painted cartoon eyes so that it now resembles Bullwinkle, which completely cracks me up. I only drank half of my glass of wine, so naturally Grandma finished off the rest of mine. She had an amazing time! My only criticism is that I felt rushed the whole time - this was a shorter class than usual at an hour and a half, and I feel like I could've done a better job with another half an hour for this painting. However, thanks, Painting with a Twist, for a great family activity for three generations - even if my paintings don't turn out quite the way I want them, it's still a fun time.

She knows her flowers and the process to grow, cut and arrange them to meet your expectations. My wife and daughter meet at Black Ridge a couple times to discuss the brides ideas and develop a plan to meet her wants. Susan also held a final meeting a couple weeks prior to the wedding to make sure everyone was on the same page and agree on last minute things. On the big day Susan and Tom were right on time to deliver the flowers. They went right to work putting things in the right spot and cleaning up after themselves. Now for the flowers...my wife and daughter were over the top pleased with the freshness, color, arrangement and overall beauty of the designs. The brides bouquet was a perfect size and just beautiful. The bouquet held up through all the handling and toss. The table flowers were simple and attractive. They didn't detract from the social interactions by being over sized, wide spread or in your face. They just blended nicely. The lapel flowers were very attractive as the were designed to be simple, worn close/flat to the lapel and masculine looking. The design was very innovative and attractive plus simple to pin on. The wrist corsages were simple, not fluffy or dangling, and beautiful of course. The flower girls had very attractive flower rings that were easy to manage and secure on a 5-8 year olds head. Susan also created a pair of flower arrangements that were attached to the arch behind the minister. These flowers were artificial but you would never know it. They were very attractive and blended with all the other flowers and color schemes. I would definitely recommend Black Creek for your flower needs. Susan is very talented. She listens well and works passionately to make your ideas come to life. Her husband Tom is a wonderful helper and behind the scenes guy. You will find both Susan and Tom to be very professional, friendly and customer service oriented!

We couldn't have asked for a more supportive, nurturing school for our daughter to attend. We are…read moreincredibly impressed by how caring and communicative the teachers/staff are, and appreciate the open lines of communication. Not only has our daughter blossomed into such an independent, intelligent and inquisitive young person, but she's also learning important social skills like how to respectfully stand up for herself when necessary. SMA also offers multiple opportunities for parents to join the school in catering to our daughter's development, and my spouse and I have gladly taken advantage of them. When we were new to SMA, we attended the Montessori 101 workshop to really get a deeper look at the philosophy and methodology of the Montessori classroom. At that point, we knew a little, but this really helped us understand Montessori at a deeper level. We've implemented multiple of the suggestions we learned in the Montessori at Home workshop, and we just love seeing our girls enjoy helping with tasks such as cleaning, putting things away, and feeding the dogs. There is such a sense of pride in doing something on your own that I love witnessing in our young girls. In my opinion though, the most significant way that SMA helps parents provide support to their children, is through their Positive Discipline classes. (Seriously, I cannot recommend enough!) We're both trying every day to help support our girls through new and difficult emotions and situations the best we can, and this workshop has been a tremendous help. I love being able to reference the materials and handouts from our course when we stumble into a new phase of difficulty. The support from SMA by providing these workshops has been a huge help to our family, and I would recommend them to any and all parents. I could just go on and on about how much we love SMA!!

Two dining options daily. Bathrooms in all buildings, not many elevators, though. Only in Loew-Brenn, Dowden, Becker, Roush, RichLyn Library, the HUB, Wright, Miller, Meadows, Merillat Center for the Arts. Still good stuff to do. Fun activities on campus include fishing discs out of Lake SnoTip, skateboarding down the mall, and walking the campus loop backwards. Saturday brunch in the dining hall is a can't miss.

The main gym is nice and has individualized bleacher seats, although they aren't the most comfortable for sitting for an extended period. The sound system was great, and there are two scoreboards, one on each baseline. The auxiliary gym was pretty hot, but thankfully the main gym was much more comfortable. The campus itself is nice and well maintained, although it's not a very large campus. It's a Christian private school. What I really liked about this camp was how involved the coaching staff and players were. The head coach, assistant coach, and players were all present and actively participated in the camp. The players were involved in the drills, which gave the campers an opportunity to interact with them, ask questions, and get firsthand insight. It also gave the players a chance to see the participants' skills up close. This was a great camp! It was reasonably priced, easy to access, and my son had a good experience.
