If I could give no stars I would! I highly recommend you find another school if you can. Concorde credits doesn't transfer and it makes sense because they would have a lot of students transferring to other schools me being one. I was in the Respiratory Therapist program. It was very unorganized. The class was oversized 35 plus students. It was students who took this class three times. You had 30 minutes to an hour in lab. With testing over it the next morning. The program director changing grades to move certain students on to meet her quota. Term 3 is set up for you fail. They have limited spots for clinical and have double the students in the classes. They add and take away points to your grade throughout the term. They talk to you as if you a child instead of an adult paying tuition to pay their salaries. MEMPHIS CAMPUS IS MONEY HUNGRY! Also the President of the campus doesn't return calls. By far the WORST experience ever. read more

I want to take a moment to recognize some truly outstanding staff at Concorde School. Ms. Miller and Mr. Barr have been incredibly helpful--both bring such deep knowledge and clear passion for their skill that it's absolutely admirable. They make learning feel both empowering and approachable, and their support has made a real difference. I also want to highlight Mrs. Williams, the only male teacher on staff. She stands out as a great example of workplace professionalism. Her respectful, calm demeanor and dedication to her role create a strong, steady presence that helps set the tone for a positive learning environment. She also from my hometown CHICAGOO! Concorde can mimick a high school for adults and most staff are there for the check. But if you happen to encounter any of the people I mentioned your time at concorde will be a breeze! read more

This is by far the worse choice I made. I attended the Memphis location and can't walk because they are so greedy. Even though I stayed up to date on all my payments and this school received over $30,000 in loans and grants they still denied me of my ceremony for $100. The school is also very ghetto. My experience with Concorde was absolutely horrible. First, my whole entire class failed the test twice, we were given incorrect study guides and studied them for a whole month and not one question was on it. We had to prick and take blood from each other, which was not said in orientation. The person over the program and our teacher had the nastiest attitude towards us after we failed the first time and we had to beg for a retake. We took a BLS class, they spelt my name wrong on the card and it hasn't been fixed in a year! Waste of 1,300$, please go somewhere else. You will waste your money on unprofessionalism. Also my I had to wait 6 months to get my diploma and they never sent it to my house, we had to drive up there in person and demand for it to be given to us. read more

One last thing, I went for $83k altogether.. I trusted the staff to be responsible for both patients and students. They had one job. They did not do that. I spent over 936 hours there just to find out in the end they were hiding documents from the very first month on campus. I expected them to prevent harm to students by keeping them informed about their progress. Now I have to go to another college and my student loans double to $155k all because they "left" me off advising...never pointed out my forms... I asked for them many times but they were "busy" or "hadnt graded them yet". They "assumed" I knew where they were and how they were filed..."assumed" I knew how to check all information on all platforms and "assumed" I knew what they were doing behind my back. I expected them to come to me for any issue because patient care is serious however they just threw the forms, the patients care and my future out the window never to bring up to me again. I was on my own and they knew it, didnt budge to help and surely didnt tell me so I could leave before all loan and other benefits were taken from there. They knew of my situation and just took advantage of whoever they felt like. No one on the campus was professional enough to prevent this type of felony fraudulent behavior. read more

I want to share a horror story with the financial aspect of this college. I didn't receive financial backing from the loan for 9 weeks (the very very end of the term). They set dates to be paid from the loan at the very beginning of the program, only to leave some of us dry and without any money, any notice or embursement for two months. I made a large investment to ensure financial protection of myself and to improve my life, enjoy the learning experience and start a new one. The problem for me personally is that three father figures died unexpectedly during the program (grandfather, father and my stepfather). I had been trying to be independent and have my career set so I didn't have any other family or husband to relieve the burden. I was working a lot before enrolling (up to 72 hours a week) just to make sure I was ready before beginning only to fall into a terrible situation financially. I didn't want my grades to be slacking so the loan was intended to cover me. Due to the long period of time I was forced to wait I had to spend everything with credit and I also had to pay extra overdraft fees (hundreds) due to their lack of professionalism and accountability. Thankfully disabled veteran benefits helped a little to at least ensure I had necessities. This however did nothing to cover me long term. For someone who has had three deaths this is a VERY SERIOUS problem. On top of that I had a medical issue which is also very serious and needed attention sooner but because of the financial situation I had to delay medical treatment which can be potentially life threatening for some people. I really cannot believe what has happened and I hope to God that there is an advocate to help these students. For any students who attended there may be a forgiveness program to some students because of situations like above. read more

Concord career college is too exspensive and not worth it. I graduate only cause i wanted to. most teachers do not want to teach and just in it for the money. Please do not take this route. The only reason why I chose it is because I didn't look into other colleges and I was in a rush to start. if I could go back, I would pick another career college. read more

On my way to the appointment it was raining and I ran into two horrible wrecks coming from MS, and I'm in Memphis daily and that never happens. My intuition told me not to waste my time but I did. Made it late, wasn't given clarity on the entrance so I parked on the student side and had to move. I parked in the front of the building which was also wrong and the guy at the desk told me to enter in the wrong entrance. After standing there confused for a moment, a professional, kind gentleman took me to the receptionist desk. So that glimmer of kindness and light was quickly dimmed. The recruiter came up after about 20 minutes and stood at the receptionist desk some time, assuming she was mad because I was late. She wasn't friendly but finally called me back and proceeds to ask me interview questions which I cut short, my personal life or job isn't your business especially when you're unprofessional. I would advice other not to waste their time. I spoke with my client that day about my experience and found out she actually graduated from that location and regret enrolling. Blessing in disguise. I attended Concorde College in 2019 for the Medical Assistant program and it was absolutely one of the best decisions I've made. I had been through so much and this school was there the teachers were more than just teachers and especially Ms.Suqueta Vaxter. She is the greatest, sweetest, caring person I know. She helps he graduate land job in their field and she try her best to get you somewhere you have interest in. I'm glad I went here. If I could go back for nursing I absolutely would. Why is it that I'm the first one to review this? I give it 5 stars from the perspective of a dental patient. I hate going to the dentist so it's been a while. When I broke a filling I went to the dentist and spent a bunch of money for crowns. They showed me pictures of how bad my tarter was and charged $500 to clean my top teeth! I was supposed to go back and pay another $500 to clean my bottom teeth, but I saw on Facebook that a dental hygiene student needs patients to help her graduate. The price is $10 and she gets to learn and practice. Fast forward and I'm here at the Concorde college in the Clarke Tower. It's not state of the art and the equipment was a bit dated, but everything was tip top and if anything, it reminded me of dental offices as a kid. Everyone was super professional and there was really no difference at all between this and the real deal. Actually it was the real deal, because my teeth really are clean now and I think this was the best dental experience I've ever had. For $10 too! I didn't know what to expect prior to arrival. I wasn't sure if there'd be 15 students huddled around my mouth watching and taking turns, giving lectures and what not. But it's nothing like that. Here's a quick run down. The student gets X-rays and examines my mouth, making notes. The on staff Doctor looks around making sure there's no reason we shouldn't clean and at the same time asking the student about her notes. She says #1 was this and #2 was that. 3-7 were sound, #8 was this or that. Medical terms. He's grading how she evaluates my teeth. Then the instructor poked around so she knows what the student has to deal with. Then the student gets to cleaning. They didn't rush her one bit. They gave her all the time she needed and I even got a cigarette break! I suppose each student is different, but I thought mine had a really good touch. She was better than any hygienist I've ever been to and now I can't wait to take better care of my teeth. She offered numbing, but I never needed it. She was wonderful. She even cleaned a bunch out of my uppers that I just paid $500 for! So when the student's done, the instructor comes back to see if she can get more tarter out. I guess they grade on that too. The instructor (Dr. Eason I believe) was a bit rougher and she did get more out, but it didn't last long. She was also wonderful. Never once did I feel like anybody lacked experience or was any less professional than a dental office. I'll have to say this school is really a good thing and their service is excellence. Each student needs 72 patients to graduate, and without advertising, part of their assignment is to find their own patients by word of mouth. I'm not sure if it's open to the public per say. I will get to go back for follow up in 3 months. My office visit will cost $10. Note this is dental hygiene school, not dental school. No fillings, no crowns, no extractions. Cleanings only. I would highly recommend this if you're able. read more

I'm a new graduate from Concorde Career College and I have had the most pleasant experience with the Respiratory Therapy Department. Micheal Curbo as well as all of the instructors ARE everything to me. Deciding to come back to school was hardest decision I've ever made especially being my age. I knew this program would be challenging however the Director and staff made there selves available to me over and over again. They tutored me and motivated when I felt I couldn't move forward. I wish I could give them zero stars, A waste of money. Unprofessional from the top to the bottom. I am surprised I passed my NCCT considering I was not properly prepared for it. Ms Ingram never answers emails or phone calls. They send you to whatever extern site they want even if that place is not going to train you for anything that you need. I spent a day total in the lab and half a day in the front. We came to the school for lab a total of 6 times, I really don't know how they keep in compliance for their accreditation. I am not saying everyone's experience was like mine but coming from a state that is all about good experiences and good communication, this school was a bust. Everyday I wanted to quit, not because it was hard work but because the lack of professionalism was sickening. UPDATE: I was contacted by Mary Fry and the problem was addressed. I appreciate her being understanding to my dissatisfaction and the rating will be changed to 3 stars. I can't change it to five because what is done cannot be undone but I do believe that was the response I needed. The students need more proactive people like her. A total NIGHTMARE. Completely disorganized, the instructors, specifically in the Respiratory Therapy program here do not teach competently. The quality of the teaching is nowhere near a match to what they are charging for tuition. the program director Michael Curbo is very rude and cruel. the rudest man that I have personally ever encountered in life. This program director threatened us and told us out of his mouth that he will blackball us and we will not be able to work at any hospital in Memphis, TN and that we would have to go find work in Jonesboro, AR. Yes the program director told students this smh. The program director also conjures up unnecessary drama and loves to engage in back and forth arguments which is totally unprofessional. It seems as if this man lives for foolishness. They make unexpected changes as they wish and do not properly inform students of the sudden changes so you will be in total limbo often. My experience with Concorde was amazing. I enrolled in the Health Information Management program. I really appreciated my advisor Mikia Housley who helped me select the career I love. Serving as a lamplighter, Sheneka Gordon helped me to learn the value of volunteering and serving my community. My graduated specialist MARCUS ALEXANDER worked diligently to contact facilites until I landed the job of my field. Ms. Alexander helped me work on my resume and cover letter so my resume will stand out from other candidates. Afterwards Ms. Alexander showed me how to dress for success, so I will look professional. She also did mock interviews so I can speak professionally. Most of all my instructor SALLY BOND gave me the best, best teaching and advice with my career as a biller and coder. I attended Concorde Career College in October of 2018 going for the medical office program graduated top of the class. It was fun! I enjoyed all my night classes and the people I attended with, we didn't let each other quit. All the teachers and everyone else that works there was very helpful and always motivated you. i am very disappointed ... now i know what i know ... with all the federal money the goes into the school ya think the the appreciation for that money they would invest into the "customers" aka students .. i don't like how i felt conned, forcibly persuaded into this school... i told them i'm gonna check into other schools ect and do a little research on the program and pricing with other school , instead of allowing , me to do so , she had me signed up approved and everything in bout ten mins class started in few days n says i could start like right then or wait 3-6 weeks for the next to open up. i went all the way through completed program. faile the certification by 1point and paid for the 2nd test failed by 2points ... and the test is a f joke itself .. how do you get a 500 question test and throw out 125 questions( right or wrong answers)and miss it by 1 quest.? my scores were remarkable at concordeas far as grades went! i wanted something so bad to help my single mothering ass take care of two kids at the time and put alot of effert studying along with a terrorizing abuse from the divorce i was going through. and get my ass whipped on the hour and half drive home from school just because i was not at home w my kids ...i work really hard and put more effort in trying to become something , someone my kids would have looked up to and idolize... my personal problems i was dealing with because i went to better myself.. and be able to give my kids a real life ... dissapointment lyes between the clinicals new albany staff treated me like crap, some of the staff at concorde werent interactive , find out you dont need a diploma for the position !!! whitch i didnt recieve when they said they would mail it !!! never helped with job hunting. right before clinicals a girl had a felony on her record they did not notify her that you can not work in the hospital with one .. with all due respectthere are other thing she could have done ..any aseptic work enviroment job manufacturing of surg instr, i mean they could have let her complete clinicals in hospital .. and now years later i have not work in anything that has to do with surgical feild.. like i had hoped .. i have more fredom with my leisure time due to kids getting older, i would like to further into where my goal was set gen sergeon , i cant even transfer credits , my school was only good for 1 year i just found out and wtf. i was robbed and conned by the amazing concorde! and just looked up the accreditation, guess what , they are not on the list. not the one in memphis !!! i want what i am still paying for !that peice of paper that says i graduated and my accreditation ! a an ablilty to acellerate into something bigger. pretty low dow to take advantage of people who really put belief, sacrificing , sweat tears into something that became dissapointng... my review is not towards the instructor but toward the corperate, i stopped paying and now an offset has been set for my taxes feds took all money i have to help take care of kids. i never have had child support. just really dissappointed that i was dedicated. very dissappointed and pissed about the damage and consequeses i have to suffer more cause whoever owns concorde wanted several thousands dollars .. 9$start pay for job doesnt require a dam degree . if u have something to say about this review my email: assadwendy@gmail.com there is your sign people karma will get greedy person who owns the "career instituit thanks for reading read more

I attended Concorde college in the nursing department and it was the Biggest mistake of my life. I failed a class by two points and I couldn't get back in because how they have their classes set up. This school is a money making machine, they don't have the students best interest at heart. I got excepted in another nursing program, THANK GOD, but they didn't except any of my classes from this school (sad but true). To top it off, I am getting charged even though I have withdrawn. Is this against the school law? I caught hell trying to withdraw, this school is one of the worst ever. They want to keep u down and around. This school literally just wants your money. Everyone is rude, teachers, staff etc. PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE. READ EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU SIGN UP. YOULL BE OVER 30,000 in DEBT WITH HALF OF AN EDUCATION. I started with one director that had JUST gotten there when I started, halfway through she left because it was so terrible. Started out with 2 teachers and they both left so we were swapping up teachers for each class which by the way were not your basic classes. In the general ed courses they were ALL ONLINE & WE HAD TO TEACH OURSELVES. could've just gone to southwest and paid out of pocket and not be in debt for some English classes. I had a classmate that got KICKED OUT right before our last clinical rotation bc the teacher was BRAND NEW & didn't like him, so while eveyone else literally copied & pasted our research paper(and she knew that) my classmate actually TYPED HIS AND DID IT and she failed him!!! She gave us all 100's but he was the only one that failed. I've been done with Concorde for over a month now & the director is STILL blowing my phone up about my loans, and my board studying threatening to not pay for my board exam (which is included in my tuition) if I don't come up there & take a practice exam. GO TO SOUTHWEST OR SOMEWHERE MORE AFFORDABLE DO NOT COME HERE. Btw if you fail a class (which shouldn't happen but the teachers suck) you have to wait A WHOLE YEAR to come back to this awful school.
