Went in about 730pm with face pain due to swelling after a root canal that was ongoing for 2 days straight, was seen quickly, very very professional staff was seen by Doctor Speck very professional and knew exactly what to do to get me feeling better the same night and even better the next morning . Dr Speck and his team were amazing! ER room is never where you want to be but they made this as quick and painless as possible. No wait and doctor and his staff were in before I even finished paperwork. From the doctor to the nurse, to the CT tech, to the MA, even the front desk was quick efficient and knowledgeable! I had an issue with an elevated diastolic blood pressure, dizziness and chest heaviness. I am a retired R.N., BSN, and I was impressed with the exceptional care I received. My daughter wanted me to go to a local hospital ER and I preferred to go to a walk in type of clnic. The staff of which referred me to the Concho Valley ER. I am grateful that I went. EKG, chest xrays, thorough lab work and IV meds completed. I followed up w my PCP. I was really happy that the nurse that started my IV was amazing!! I had a #20 intercath type and those usually hurt, but this nurse simply was the absolute best I have ever had! The level of the care they are able to provide is surprising. They really are a full care ER. And they are local doctors and nurses. I highly recommend this emergency department to anyone. read more
