This ice cream place is amazing. It will take you back to your childhood of eating sugary cereal on those Saturday mornings but with ICE CREAM. All of the classic cereal is here to mix in with your choice of vanilla or chocolate ice cream! Must try!

LOVE ME SOME CONCHITAS!! First of all...whatever you know/have experienced with conchas before, throw it out the window! Danny of Conchitas and more has legitimately the freshest conchas I have EVER had! Super soft and fresh and meshes perfectly with his vanilla ice cream. He has a few different flavor concha options as well as toppings (captain crunch, cinnamon toast crunch, oreos, coco puffs, etc.). He even has an option called The Actor, which is a chocolate chip cookie sandwich instead of using a concha, as well as sorbet options! Truly the perfect dessert option! Check him out at Friday Night Munchies in Santa Ana!

Looove this place! Tried out their conchitas and literally fell in love. The bread of the concha mixed with delicious ice cream and cereal toppings makes the perfect dessert! Also, Daniel (the owner) is super nice and friendly. Such a great place! Def worth a try!

    Dirty Bowl! Yum.

This place isn't even here. Drove out there to a lot of vendors in tents. Asked around they said it's been closed for months. BUMMER.

The store front is easy to find as they have a large visible sign showing "CHURROS" near the street. The items can get pricey, as I recently picked up just an ice cream with churros and bag of churros which ended up at $20. There's a $1 charge on credit cards which also seems a bit like charging the customer on any business transaction. The location is a decent size so it could definitely fit groups and such. Unfortunately my visit did not really go well, as after ordering and receiving a buzzer to let us know when the order is complete, we waited for over 10 minutes to have other customers place orders after us and receive their orders before our buzzer went off. Eventually, one of the associates noticed we had been waiting for a while and came to us to ask if we had placed an order already. For some reason, the buzzer was not programmed to our order, and I ended up asking the cashier for my receipt to confirm that my order was placed. This was frustrating as we had originally entered the store as the only guests and 3 other parties had entered the store after us and received their orders before us. Fortunately, the associates closest to us near the pick up order section noticed that we had been waiting for an extended period of time and came out to ask what we had ordered to help us make our missing order. I have no idea how our order was missed but it was not a great experience to wait in a store with no AC (only the front doors propped open for ventilation) and there was no real apology for the mishap. However, we're very appreciative of some of the staff members noticing that we had been patiently waiting for our order.

Some of my friends kept…read moretelling me this was one of the best dessert spots around OC and after finally trying it, I can definitely see why. We came around 10 PM on a Saturday night and there was already a pretty long line. Apparently we got lucky because I was told the line wasn't even as long as it normally gets lol. Surprisingly though, we waited less than 10 minutes. The staff here works FAST. You can literally see how hard everyone is working behind the counter getting all the orders out. There's also a waiting area with bench seating which is nice if you're hanging around eating your churros. Plenty of parking too so that wasn't an issue at all. There's even a Jalisco taco tent right next door, so honestly you could grab tacos first and then come here for dessert We were recommended the Traditional Churros with vanilla bean ice cream and this was easily the highlight for me. The traditional ones are super crispy on the outside but really soft inside. It reminds me of the classic Mexican churros you'd get from street vendors, markets or festivals, just done REALLY well. They had the perfect amount of cinnamon sugar too. Definitely on the sweeter side but thats exactly how I want my churros. With the vanilla bean ice cream and Mexican caramel on top... SO GOOD. Everything just worked together perfectly. The hot crispy churros with the cold vanilla ice cream and caramel was seriously addicting. I've actually been to Spain and tried churros from cafes that have been around for literally 100 to 200+ years, and honestly Don Churros is still up there with some of the best churros I've ever had. Probably one of the best I've tried in North America so far. Also really cool knowing they're originally from Jalisco, Mexico! We also ordered the mixed boxes, but unfortunately by 10 PM they had already sold out of the Don Churros and only had the Traditional ones left. Since the Don Churros cost a little more we asked if they could maybe hook us up with some extra Traditional Churros instead. And they REALLY hooked us up They gave us a ton of extras, basically another full bag of Traditional Churros!! Really appreciated that and honestly the customer service here was exceptional. Even with the long line everyone was friendly, moving quick and working really hard. Fresh, super crispy outside, soft inside, lots of cinnamon sugar and even better with the vanilla bean ice cream and their syrups. Definitely get a box to take home too, its worth it. I'll 100% be back. Don Churros is easily one of my favorite dessert spots in OC now and genuinely one of the best desserts I've had around here. GO TO DON CHURROS!!

It is conveniently located near Disneyland down the road by a few minutes though they're only open Thursdays thru Sundays in the afternoon into the evening. You can even call in your order without having the wait in line. Highly suggested on the weekend evenings but don't wait too long as they can sometimes run on out on certain items that you may want. You call or text their number. I texted them with my order and it was nice, hot and ready when you get in. Here's the thing about ordering via text. Make sure you text so it does not mess the flow of the regular line. This was asked of me when I made my order. Service is pretty quick, the employees seem nice, and the churros are heavenly. Prices are pretty reasonable for what you get. They are crispy fried on the outside but fluffy and soft on the inside. We always get the Full thread for the four of us and we can't finish, which is rare, we bring it home and air fry any leftovers. With the churros we always buy their dipping sauces and all of them are great. Great churros, ice cream , drinks and drizzles. You can't go wrong! There are a few benches you can sit at that are in near the food truck where you can either sit to eat or even wait for your order. Thank you Don Churros for your delicious desserts! Can't wait to come back, as always!

It has such a unique vibe. It's located around Downtown Santa Ana, and the sign isn't very big, so it can be a little hard to find. Honestly, I'm glad I came with my friends because if I had come by myself, I probably would have missed it and gone home. The atmosphere is definitely different from your typical Orange County coffee shop. I heard the owners are from New York, and I think you can feel that influence. It has a very urban, sophisticated feel, but at the same time, there's something warm yet slightly cool and edgy about the space. It's hard to explain, but it has a personality of its own. The coffee bar is completely open, so you can watch the baristas make your drink and see every little movement they make. I wanted to try so many things on the menu, but I had already had two cups of coffee that day, so I decided to go with matcha instead. What really impressed me was how detailed they were when taking my order. They asked about the sweetness level, syrup options, type of milk, and even the type of cup I wanted. Since I was staying to enjoy my drink there, they served my matcha in a beautiful glass. And watching them make the matcha right in front of me was such a treat. It wasn't just some sweet matcha powder mixed with milk. You could really taste the quality of the matcha, and the drink was clean, smooth, and delicious. Santa Ana is a little far from my home, so I don't come here very often. But this place made me want to come back someday, take my time, and just enjoy a cup of matcha without rushing. Definitely a place with its own character. Would I come back? 100% YES.

I believe their espresso leans toward a lighter roast, coming through bright and expressive, while the milk drinks are dialed in with that smooth, silky texture that makes you want to savor. That said, the drinks don't always scratch the itch for me in the way I might expect but it might just be that their speciality drinks aren't quite what I typically look for. Nonetheless I do still think they have a strong coffee program and a team that clearly cares about craft.

The mint and chip is basic. Nothing too much about it. My kids like it, so I got it. Average 3/5. The rose ice cream tasted like a rose, it was pretty good and very floral. The disappointing part is I was hoping the ice cream would be shaped like a rose as depicted on the picture. Nope, just a scoop and left it as is. 5/5 for taste and 0/5 for presentation. The milk and cereal one was actually pretty good. Especially with Frosted Flakes in it. It literally taste like cereal. 5/5. I would give it a higher star if the service complimented it and th presentation of the rose ice cream did.

Usually parking here isn't too bad if you're staying for less than an hour and easy to walk over to the dessert shop. Baked Banhs is located in the 4th street food market, one of the first shops you'll see if you're coming from the parking lot. Note the hours before you come (for instance, they're closed on Sundays and Mondays). And note that they seem to usually sell out of certain items by the days end. We've tried a number of different items here now including four of their canelés and their basque cheesecake. The cheesecake was solid. But we really loved their canelés. They are soft/moist on the inside with a nice crunch. And the different flavors really come through. Our favorite is the black sesame - not only is there black sesame peppered on the top but also in the center with a nice black sesame cream. It's so good and delicious. Four canelés cost $16 and thought they were well worth the price. Again, it's so sad to hear that Baked Banhs is closing soon so if you're a fan of canelés or other desserts, recommended to come sooner than later to try this out!
