After I checked in, the nurse practitioner removed the bandages I had placed and assessed the injury. She informed me that I would require sutures and advised me to visit another facility to obtain them, as CVS does not provide that service. She then re-wrapped the wound and charged me $150 for the consultation, despite not resolving the issue. Upon my arrival at the other facility and in the examination room, the doctor informed me that it wasn't very deep and that he would spare me the discomfort of sutures. He cleaned the injury, halted the bleeding, and applied a liquid bandage. He then re-wrapped the wound and provided me with extra supplies in case I needed them. I am uncertain if CVS has a policy that takes advantage of patients or if your staff is simply unskilled. I believe I am entitled to a refund for my visit since it offered no benefit. I called for nausea medicine (not a controlled substance). when I throw up I go into DKA and end up in ICU for at least 5 days each time. She refused to refill my Zophran prescription and last Friday I had a severe case of DKA and spent 5 days in IC. I will never go to Community Quick Care again. All 3 times have been great experiences. The check in thru the ER is as fast and efficient. My time on the L&D unit was great, including 1 NICU stay. The doctors, midwives & nurses here are truly the best. The delivery rooms are recently updated and very clean, spacious and nice. The recovery rooms are a bit outdated but nothing terrible. We drive from Nashville for Diana health & Stonecrest has truly been a great place to deliver.

As soon as I got to the ER they took me to a room and the sweetest nurse, name Caroline, took control of my care and assured me I would be OK. Caroline was very gentle when she started my IV and she let me know everything about my care before she did anything. She was very patient with me especially and my family and answered all our questions about what was going on with me and what to expect. Hopefully this would explain some bad health issues I had been experiencing. Ip stay in the ER till about 3pm and everyone I came in contact with couldn't have been nicer. I felt very safe and well taken care of. I must admit I NEVER imagined that this would lead to being admitted to the hospital but it did. I just want everyone to know how much I appreciate everything Nurse Caroline did for me and my family while under her care. FOR SURE
