Instead, I waited about 40 minutes. If I had been told the actual wait time, I would have driven the six minutes to my original appointment and been seen on time. What concerned me even more was that another patient came in reporting respiratory symptoms and possible COVID or pneumonia, and the receptionist never asked them to wear a mask. I've been to other Cottage Urgent Care locations where anyone with respiratory symptoms is immediately asked to mask up, so this was surprising and concerning. I highly recommend going to the other location. I've never had any issues at the other location and against my better judgment I decided to give this place a chance and the front desk is just beyond incompetent. Definitely will not be going back. The reason why I'm giving this a three star review is because I heard that three stars are way harder to delete and also the doctors and the other staff were totally fine but if I could give it negative stars I would.

Doctors Kim and Dr. C were compassionate, and the surgeon and anesthesiologist communicated clearly and confidently. Here comes the problem!!!!! Now, unfortunately, the complete opposite experience: Elliot from the ER phone line. Rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. I asked a straightforward question about possibly speaking with Dr. Shanannan. Instead of listening, he repeated the same irrelevant line about not giving out the doctor's schedule--which I never asked for. It was either a lack of comprehension or a lack of effort--neither is acceptable. When I asked to leave a message, I was told "we don't do that." No explanation. No alternative. Just a dead end. When I confirmed his name, he responded with attitude. When I asked his role, he refused to answer altogether--which raises serious concerns about transparency. Patients shouldn't have to question who they're speaking to when trying to get help. For someone in a frontline role at a hospital, basic communication and professionalism should be the bare minimum. Instead, the interaction felt dismissive and borderline disrespectful. It's disappointing, because one person like this can easily undermine the trust built by an otherwise excellent medical team. The hospital clearly has many outstanding professionals--Elliot is not one of them, clearly Elliot does not have human kindness.

The wait times were a bit rough but I'm finding that to be the case everywhere, so I wouldn't necessarily dock them for this knowing this is the reality of healthcare facilities nowadays but I will make notes. Actually the reason I docked a star was cleanliness and this is an outdated looking facility. They get the job done. As I noted, I'm thankful the staff and doctors were all actually very friendly. When your sick, compassionate and patient people go a long way. The front desk staff were nice and seemed empathetic. I asked how long the wait time would be and the gal estimated 45 minutes. I got called in an hour after waiting, so she wasn't far off which I appreciated. The doctor was also very compassionate and even apologized for the wait, she didn't have to do that. She was efficient and once she saw me I was out quick. The whole experience was 2 hours which is rough when you're sick, but again, I'm finding that to be the case everywhere. The only thing that worried me is that the cleanliness of this spot was iffy. The floors in the waiting room were filthy...I was there at 12pm so they had only been open a few hours, I guess it just worries me when any medical site doesn't seem like it gets a sweep and mop daily. Maybe my expectations are too high?
