Well, I don't care what they say because the place be cleaner look better. It's a walk-in quick…read moreclinic so I get it but this is about physician assistant Alec Pinder and as far as I'm concerned, he's respectfully doctor Pinder I love that he takes his job seriously I love that. He read the nurses notes and he knew what it was. I love that he was able to figure it out without an x-ray. Can I just say he's the bomb Diggity! and he's good at what he does. I've seen him five or six times maybe seven in two years for an upper respiratory x2 working at the elementary school with kindergartners, I was sick all the time it seemed. I was always running in there with some kind of cough or cold, one time he saw me two days or three days in a row. I feeling real bad. Take a tip out of the playbook sometimes all the hot tea and ginger osha root slippery elm in the world will not cure you! Sometimes you need a anabiotic you need to see a doctor to get this one. You may need prednisone. Who knows but if you think you can get it out in the field then by all means..I suffered for 21 days trying to heal myself when all I needed to do was go up the road. And by the time I finally told myself enough was enough. I walked in in tears. I had been suffering needlessly relentless in pain! this is an injury sustained at the pool . This time and my first time and I hope my last encounter with this particular muscle...The infamous Latissimus Dorsi omg! Google it. Dr. Pinder based on my knowledge about my body and my detailed description of the pain and location and how I believe the injury was sustained.. bam! he nailed it! When he walked in the room, he knew what it was and he knew what medicine I needed. I got immediate relief. I'm textbook and I'm proud. Thank heavens for a knowledgeable doctor with a decent bedside manner. Some people are just passionate about what they do and a doctors job is to try to help you and he has every time I've seen him. I'd rather have something they can diagnose and figure out then not so say it loud! I'm textbook 101 and I'm proud!

That's it, no further tests to tell me why or where it was coming from. Even though I gave them my Medicare card and supplement, they keep billing me $246.00. That is high by any standard and useless without more information. NOW I have to convince them I DO HAVE INSURANCE!! What a waste of my time.

Nice little immediate care center on a busy road. I come here every year to update my DOT medical…read morecard for my job. The offer all kinds of emergency med services and other job related services. Free WiFi, slushi machine, arcade game, coffee all provided to make the experience better. The person at the front counter is always very friendly and helpful, even when things come up that cause stress, they have helped me out a few times to get things taken care of. The staff (doctors, and nurses) are also very friendly and helpful which is perfect for a place that deals with what it does all day. I haven't had medical care here, but it seems as if others walk out very context so I suspect that it typically goes well. It looks to be pricey here but they to accept insurance so I'm sure that helps. No doubt it is quicker and less chaotic than the ER at the hospital.

So they gave her a colonoscopy bag.the next day after surgery they put her on a ventilator. Next Thang they tell us her kidneys ain't working .then the charge nurse told us doing dialysis could jump start her colon .because the colon wasn't working at all.so the dialysis doctor came in and I told him what the nurses said about it helping her colon to start working. He said absolutely not it wouldn't help with that at all.so my momma had a little color left to her .she had sagging cheeks and a little bit of a double chin.but then like two three hours later my mom no longer had sagging cheeks or sagging double chin.she looked like she aged ten years over night.her skin was no longer sagging it literally dried up her skin was so tight and she was Grey as if she had a face lift OVER F F night. She look like death.but yet they are going to put a port in her neck for dialysis. My mom was already gone.we told them we wanted to take her off the stuff and take her home .and they said that they'd have to put in the order for the meds to keep her comfortable while slowly taking her off of everything. They said it could take a week 3 days or one day.so we as in my siblings said ok .after the meeting with the doctors and nurse's. So we step out of the room some to smoke a cigarette some just to go out side and digest what we had just been told from doctor .we was gone outside for no more then ten minutes and was called back up to her room.by the time we got back up there to her room we was only gone the total of twelve minutes.they done took my mom off of everything Iher bowels were backing up in to her system being poison mean everything. Was completely strip off of her .and us thing the doctor had to put in for the order of meds to slowly start taking her off .but that we would be there by her side when it all was happening. But know twelve minutes later my mom was dead.they knew it and I already come to same reality but not saying anything. They lied to us about the dialysis helping the colon .they lied to us making us think it's gonna take some time for that to happen. Then one man comes out and walks from east wing walking to west wing an sees a nurse and says .that's the bad side over there ain't it .she says why's that .the man responded and said because they all die on that end don't they.! But even making us believe she was still alive when she clearly wasn't. They was going to do dialysis on her .knowing her heart was too weak to make the colon or kidneys or her lungs wotk.all for money.thats it.for money know damm well my mom was already gone.and then they don't even wait for her children to be with her at the time they disconnected her from everything. Thier not angels of mercy they knew all along my mom wouldn't make it.but prodded and probe acting like they were going to help her almost while knowing she was already gone.more like posters of death in the name of money.watch your people ask questions get a second oppion. Don't take them for thier word.they lie they never helped my mom they pretty much murd.r my mother .it's the third floor in main entrance in adult ICU.

The immediate care doctors, nurses, and MAs are very knowledgeable and always give great patient education. If you're lucky I'll be one of the gals taking care of you. You do not need an appointment for the Immediate care, but here are some tips: * Immediate care does not mean ER or URGENT. If you bleeding to death, have chest pains, spiking a fever over 103 or have something life threatening, GO TO THE ER. * The immediate care does not do followup maintenance for things like hypertension, diabetes, or any type of conditions that need to be monitored. But lucky for you, this location has a wonderful family practice/internal med and pediatric primary care doctors. So if you are sick or have conditions we can take care of, stop on by! I promise I am the best throat swabber and I give painless shots! :P

I discovered this location when I needed an urgent care (they have one attached), and dang is it…read morethe best decision I've ever made. For context, I'm a medical school professor and very comfortable in a medical setting and know what is and is not acceptable behavior. The PA I saw, Maddie, was personable, very informative, and actually listened... I know that should be what you expect at every doctor's office, but with privatization of insurance that's not always what you get. Heck, she listened and cared more than my students who are REQUIRED to to pass (ha!). She was thorough, listened to all concerned addressed them properly and provided all necessary important information including referrals and follow-ups. She was also incredibly smart and knowledgeable about a lot of topics, and you can tell because she doesn't throw a ton of big words at you to seem smart, it was demonstrated in her ability to describe things at a level that people without medical experience could understand. HIGHLY recommend. The medical assistant, Keniesha, who came in to draw blood and run an EKG was polite, knowledgeable and professional while making me feel at ease during understandably uncomfortable tests. Office staff is friendly, polite, helpful, and great at getting you all set up and going. I was taken back on time for my appointment, no unnecessary waiting (although it's totally understandable when it happens) and a very proficient & excellent overall experience

There was a line formed and the clinic did not open until 8:00 a.m. Allyson was at the front door in the cold, allowing patients to sign up for their clinic visit. Allyson called me by phone, as I waited in my warm car, when it was time for my appointment. You are required to wash your hands before coming into the waiting area; and, of course wear a mask which must cover your mouth AND your nose. Conrad was the associate who administered my Covid-19 test. Conrad explained the procedure (he also took my temperature and pulse oximetry measurements) and performed my nasal Covid-19 test. Conrad was professional, reassuring and kind as was Allyson. The pandemic has been horrible but these two associates made this process easy and stress free. I thank them for their hard work and dedication for risking their lives to assist the public.

Someone (a nurse?) got all my basic health info and then I was seen by a physician assistant. While the receptionist and nurse seemed bored, the PA was super friendly. She cleaned me up and got me a prescription in no time. This location is newly built, nice and clean, and the PA told me they are generally never backed up, so it will definitely be my go to (hopefully I won't be back though!). After insurance my visit was about $90.

After having visited a different urgent care type setting a week earlier, I wasn't particularly…read morethrilled when my primary care physician wasn't available for a timely appointment and instead referred me to this setting, Franciscan Express Care. However, given my growing concern over some dehydration issues and an ongoing issue with my leg, I opted to go ahead and give Franciscan Express Care a chance. Located in the CityWay area of near downtown Indy, Franciscan Express Care is located across the street from my primary care physician but is situated somewhat better in that it has free parking and a pretty easily accessible building. The parking lot is smaller than expected, though it's fairly workable and does have accessible parking spots (though there's a slight grade to them). This same building offers urgent care, wellness programs, sports physicals, drug testing, occupational health, lab, and x-ray services. It's open from 7 am-11 pm daily, a definite plus in the world of urgent care. Because I am an active primary care patient of Franciscan, my registration process was fairly simple. I registered within a few minutes - the staff was friendly, though they were on the phone with a supervisor upon my arrival. They did apologize when they got off the phone. There was an electronic board that essentially told you where you were at in terms of waiting (without violating HIPAA). That was helpful and decreased the "I'm waiting" anxiety. Truthfully, the wait was rather short and I was taken back to do the usual pre-check followed by a visit with the physician's assistant. I believe here name was Sarah Thill, though I may be wrong. Regardless, she was incredibly compassionate, a great listener, asked good questions and expressed concerns that perhaps I should consider going to the ER. She opted to offer me an antibiotic with the recommendation that if I wasn't showing signs of improvement soon that I should go ahead and go to the ER for further evaluation. I was incredibly happy with her presence and the thoroughness of her evaluation that definitely went beyond the usual urgent care exam. I was easily in and out within an hour and my prescription was ready for me by the time I arrived at my pharmacy closer to my home. As things would pan out, a few days later I did end up being seen in the ER and admitted to the hospital for several days. So, essentially, the urgent care here really did their job and made a solid recommendation that ended up being 100% correct. I found the setting to be comfortable and the exam rooms to be more wheelchair-friendly than most urgent care settings I've been to in the past. While one never quite knows what to expect from urgent care given the different clinicians one may experience, my visit here was definitely positive and I would easily return should the need arise in the future. While I still prefer my primary care physician, this is a great alternative. As a matter of note, while I wasn't required to pay upfront because of my insurance my final bill ended up being just over $90 - a good 10-15% lower than most IU Health urgent care settings.
