Went in for a strep test on a Saturday at the newer IHA Urgent Care-Brighon since my PCP was closed…read moreover the weekend. I wasn't swabbed correctly resulting in negative test. I was prescribed a steroid for the inflammation which didn't even help. A few days later my son tested positive for strep. I called IHA back around 11am asking for a call from the doctor hoping they would prescribe me antibiotics since I was still feeling terrible. I had to call multiple times and still didn't get a call back from anyone. I was told I just need to wait until they have time to call me back. At this point, I'm very upset this misdiagnosis caused me to spread it to my son and now trying to avoid spreading to everyone else in our household. I NEVER got a call back, only an email the next day after 2pm (over 24 hours from my initial call) that I didn't even see until after 4pm saying that I would need to come back in to be re-evaluated. At this point I had already spoke to my primary doctor and was prescribed the antibiotics that I should have been given at IHA in the first place. Very unprofessional and felt my care didn't matter at all! Will not be back and will not recommend to anyone.

I have taken my son here a few times. Always in and out. Doctors and staff are wonderful and…read morethorough. Recommend getting there right before 5pm since it is first come first serve. Sign in online if able to get in line before you even arrive there.

My husband brought our daughter to this Urgent Care for an ear infection. He informed Dr. Ali that…read moreshe has an allergy to amoxicillin/clav. Dr. Ali prescribed azithromycin and a steroid instead of the medication I am used to seeing previously for ear infections. As a parent, I simply wanted to better understand the reasoning behind the treatment choice and why a different approach was taken. The following morning, I politely called the office and spoke with the front desk to ask if I could speak with Dr. Ali regarding the prescriptions. I was told they would leave him a message since he was busy. Instead of calling me back, Dr. Ali called my husband in a fit of anger, questioning why I would question his decision and if I had questions, why I didn't take her in instead. To my husband's surprise, he then informed him that he was placing a note in the system to refuse future care to my five-year-old daughter and abruptly hung up. I went back a few days later for treatment for myself, as well as referred a friend, thinking the earlier incident was just a misunderstanding. After I checked in and paid my copay, his staff told me I was being refused care. It turns out Dr. Ali didn't just ban my 5 year old, he blacklisted my entire family because I asked a simple question. He wouldn't even come out to explain. It's incredibly frustrating that a doctor would retaliate against a whole family just because a parent asked about a prescription. As a parent, it is my responsibility to advocate for my child and understand what medications are being prescribed and why. Asking a question is not being complicated, it's called being an involved parent. In my opinion, what made this experience especially disturbing was not the medications themselves, but the level of unprofessionalism shown by a doctor afterward. No patient or parent should be made to feel intimidated, dismissed, or punished simply for asking a reasonable question about medical treatment

Went here twice for a personal issue. (On the weekend so I had nowhere else to go) Ended up having…read moreto go to my DR. Anyway! this urgent care did not listen to my problems. I said to her on the last visit "I'm still having pain am I ok?" And she said yes. I should be fine. I went home, had some pain still two days later and saw my doctor. Had a physical exam and there was an issue that could've ended up with me in the hospital. Go to the Springfield urgent care if you can help it. could have gotten very ill if I had not checked up with my personal doctor.

After I listed my symptoms ( which she never looked at me or asked any questions about) First words out of her mouth, condescendingly retorts "well what do you want me to do about that". Then sighs and goes " well I guess I can take your vitals". Does so without talking, and then just walks out. When a nurse practitioner came back next she also says "well what do you want us to do. Unless you have Covid or the flu there isn't anything we can do here." Also with an attitude of like I'm wasting her time. After leaving I went to ER because they refused to do anything but take my temp and blood pressure, and swab for Covid. Once in ER they found I had an ear infection, and was starting to have Bell's palsy. Urgent care never looked in my ears, mouth, eyes, ran any physical test like at least squeeze my fingers test. Nothing just attitude of I was annoying them for being there and they had to actually care for a patient. This place should not be called urgent care. Nothing is urgent to them, they don't care, and unless you have the Flu or Covid they won't even look for anything or try. Should be called Flu Covid and don't do $hit else building instead. Never go there they are just an insurance money grabber and will just send you somewhere else while doing nothing but bill you. I wish everyone that works there a terrible life.

She had to be taken to the ER, which was a horrible experience. They basically told her to splint her leg and ice it. Couldn't say anything else. So we made an appointment here soon afterwards. Within the first few minutes of having her in one of the rooms, Jessica figured out that she has an MCL tear, and possibly a meniscus tear or ACL tear (pending MRI confirmation). We got an MRI at another facility that they made an appointment for, and now we are just waiting to hear the results of that. Update: We got the MRI results and her ACL is torn! So she needs surgery. The Core Institute is also helping us out with this, as well as helping fit my wife for a better brace to be used post-surgery.
