I forgot to add about the medications that were prescribed. 1 is an every 12 hour, the other is every 8. This made it to where I had to set my alarm for 2:30am, 6:30am, 9am, 10:30am, 2:30pm, 10:30pm (9am is my normal alarm for the other medication). This was ridiculous. read more

I went to the Rocklin location yesterday as instructed by the VA for a sinus and chest congestion evaluation as it was close to home. The receptionist told me to write down my name and symptoms on a sticky note. She took the note back to the Doctor and she returned and said " we're not seeing anyone with upper respiratory issues ". Not only had the VA recommended this place but one of the signs on the door says " walk-ins welcome ". When did health providers start cherry picking who they see ? Not everyone is a simple fix but if you don't examine them then you don't know. I called the VA and they referred me to Sutter Health in Roseville where I got an appointment for later in the day. After taking my vitals the Doctor saw me and told me my allergies had escalated drastically and that was what was making life miserable. He gave me 3 prescriptions to pick up and I was on my way. Less than 24 hours later I'm feeling a lot better but still in disbelief how I was treated at Concentra. I will call the VA today and suggest they take this place off their referral list and I'm going to post this review every where I can. If you need anything more than a band aid don't go to this place ! read more

Been waiting for an hour with two people in the waiting room, very disorganized line. Do not come here for care

You can have a 1 pm appointment and won't see the Dr. until about 2:30-2:45. This isn't just 1 time, it's every time! Staff is nice and friendly, but they shouldn't book patients back-to-back. I wait an hour and a half, for a 10 min. visit. Not worth the wait... read more

Ridiculous! 2.5 hours wait just to get seen, then another hour plus waiting for the various people to give the tests. I think they let me back because I was complaining. It, wasn't even busy! There were 2 people in the waiting room when I got here. I was Ignored by girl at counter because it was more important to gossip. I had to get a physical for a job, didn't expect to spend the whole day here. God help you if you are sick, or have something else you need to do with your day! Been here 3 hours now and still waiting to finish my frigging appointment. The final girl I had to see was the physical therapist, she was awesome! Funny! The negative reviews suite this place very well. Don't expect to go anywhere the entire day. An do not expect to start your job on your original start date if you go here for your physical. Horrible customer service, horrible time management, horrible office (no air conditioning will be turned on). Do not try to call them either they just flat out hang up on you or say they are going to help you and put you on hold so long the call is disconnected. They told me to go eat while I waited but when they call you have to be back in 5 minutes (no where open that early that close) 3 hours later got a call saying they were ready for me. Went in and sat for the next almost 2 hours no one knew what was going on an wouldn't listen that I had been called for my appointment watched tons of people go before me. Then was told the person who called me went to lunch right after my call ( she was very sweet and the dr was nice enough). I have been to many urgent cares this was the most unprofessional group of people I've ever encountered. I came in to the facility one person ahead of me in line that person got waited on I stood waiting for somebody to look up to acknowledge me and help me nobody did for almost 15 minutes. then another person came in the front door and they were greeted with a big hello can I help you unbelievable! I was only there for a TB test and a drug screen and during my TB test the person administering it was talking, I don't know to me or to her self saying "why is this not working" as she poked me, really??? I would never ever recommend this facility for anyone for any reason luckily I can go back to the urgent care on sunrise Boulevard where I always go where they know customer service. read more

Avoid this place! Very dirty! Dr. Bhatia evidently hands out standard work release forms like they are skittles. Told my husband to return to work eventhough he has a L4L5 disc protrusion. Told my husband that him returning to work would not affect his TDI! He was sent to Dr Bhatia for pain management. She didnt even examine my husband. This place is discustingly dirty! read more

This place is SLOW. I waited for more than 2 hours. Came here for just a drug screen and TB.

They were fast & efficient. All the staff were working so hard to get everybody seen in a timely manner. I don't know what is up with all the bad reviews. I walked in with no appointment for drug screen & physical but got helped right away. Of course, there was a little bit of wait but nothing compare to what I had anticipated considering the waiting room was packed. I was in & out in less than an hour. read more

I have been in the waiting room for an hour and 5 minutes now. My appointment was at 920. It is now 1025, and I have still not been seen. Why even bother to make an appointment? It obviously means absolutely nothing. This is not the first time I've had to wait this long here, and if I had any other option available, I would take it. The younger blond lady at the counter is incredibly rude. The last time I was here, I had to ask to reschedule because it was taking so long. She rolled her eyes at me while chewing her gum obnoxiously. This place sucks. Quick update... I left after a little over two hours. I heard the doctor tell another patient who was in terrible pain that appointments don't really mean anything and the wait is the front end staff's fault. read more

Expect to wait 1.5 to 2 hours to be called back for a walk-in. I went in knowing i'd have to wait, and expected to get rude staff.. but! The staff was great. Daisy at the front desk was nice. I didnt print out my paperwork and she was great at getting everything sorted out. Louise took me back. He obviously knows that people are stuck waiting for so long, so he is quick to get you in and out and on your way and thats super appreciated. Painless vaccine and got my blood draw on one easy poke. Two thumbs up for great care! read more

I'd give them zero stars but they don't give you that option. They need to take WAY fewer walk ins or appointments or something because literally you wait here nearly ALL day for something that should take 15 minutes. So upset that this is where my new work place sent me. Anything in the future I'll be using my own health insurance for. This 2+ hours of waiting is insane. No one has this kind of time. I have things to do besides sit here in your office that has not even close to the amount of space for the amount of patients you take. Do not, do not, do NOT go to this Urgent care if you can avoid it. I took my daugther there because I suspected she had the flu. Her doctor's office had no available appts. and no quick-strip tests either (this was height of flu season). I called U.S. Healthworks and asked if they had any flu tests in stock, they said they did so I went in. BIG MISTAKE. First of all the wait was ridiculous (over an hour though I only saw one person in the waiting area). Front office staff extremely rude. When we finally saw the doctor she didn't do a flu test, didn't even take her temperature. She wrote a prescription for Tamiflu and sent us on our way. I would have liked to know if my daughter tested positive for flu before giving her Tamiflu, but at this point I just wanted to get out of there and get her home. Imagine my shock when I got a bill in the mail from US Healthworks for $449! For WHAT??? For seeing my daughter for 2 minutes, not taking any vitals or giving her a flu test, then writing out a prescription??? $449 for that??? I called my insurance company and they said urgent care visits are covered, I only have to pay $30 co-pay (which I had already paid). So either this place was trying to scam me for more money or they used the wrong billing code. Whatever, I'm not paying it and my insurance will deal with it. Do not go there. read more

They lost my drug test which made me lose my job the front staff is incredibly rude will put you on hold and just not pick back up whatever you do do not go here it will cost you your job which in my case it is costing me my apartment, and my car payments. read more

BOYCOTT HEALTH WORKS. I had been a customer for 8 years. All previous visits were terrific. The last visit in August of 2013 was like going to a different business in a developing country. They didn't seem to care, particularly doctor J****s. I made numerous attempts to contact Health Works headquarters in Los Angeles and despite 5 letters and countless phone messages to their customer service department and as of this date, not one single response from them ?! Wow! They are FANTASTIC. Patient, accommodating, helpful, and more than happy to answer all of your questions. The doctors are VERY knowledgeable and know how to give helpful and useful advise based on the patient's specific needs. A GREAT place to go if you need urgent care. read more

I came in today for a urine test. I came in around 1:50 and didnt leave until 5. I am a medical assistant and to see how they treat patients, especially the own doctor violating HIPAA with around 4-5 other patients in the office. I will be reporting that for working in the healthcare. The front office was ridiculous as well as the other employees on staff. I do NOT recommend. I even called my employer and explained to them as well. Which sucks even worse, is i yelped all of the us healthworks prior to coming in. All of them are the same. This place is a joke!! Very understaffed for as many people that they must see. I should've read the reviews before coming here. The wait is horrendous and I'm here for my teenage sick daughter. Already decided today to change doctors for her since they couldn't get her in and now I know to never come back here. This place is a joke I have been here since 8am and I have been here an hour and a half and still haven't been seen. Other walk ins were taken before me and when I asked why basically because they didn't need what I need for a physical. Really? Maybe that should be explained I came in literally with 2 other people and I'm still waiting... They need a better system this is beyond frustrating! During my hearing test 2 employees were talking outside the booth that I could hear. After the test I told them it was hard to hear with them talking during the test. It was no concern to them. Ridiculous wait time! Receptionists are loud and rude while taking phone calls. There are signs posted that say they "value your time" and if have been waiting more than 30 minutes to check with the receptionist but all she says to EVERYONE is it should just be a few more minutes. So I hurt my lower lumbar region and yes it's been about a month and I have had no help. Very misleading with scheduling appointments and confirming them. They scheduled me with out warning me what day and time. And when I went into the office I was sitting there for over an hour and got nothing done. My back was hurting sooo bad from sitting and waiting to be seen. Yes I am still in a lot of pain and all they did was give me a back brace and ice pad on my first time visiting the office. I came in for a DOT physical. Had a 9 :00 am appointment. It's now 10:30, still not been seen . They claim they had to register me (after not acknowledging my presence in front it them for 10min). I am a returning patient and had given them my paperwork within 5 min of my arrival. She said I'm sure your next. 2 more have been seen since. Last visit here ever. read more

So I write this from the waiting room that I have been sitting in for the last 1.5 hours. I was told my wait was so long because I was walk in and they were taking the appointments were taken back first. That I can understand, but what I don't appreciate is the front desk telling an individual who arrived after me the reason his wait was so long was for the same reason (not having an appt.) yet he was taken back before me. When I asked her how much longer my wait would be she said I would be next and the reason he was called back before myself was because he had an appointment. This girl is highly unprofessional by talking very loudly over the phone, stating patients names and procedures that were done, it is a clear violation of patient rights.
