i went to concentra for a pre employment drug test yesterday. i got in right around 4:27. by the time they were ready to check me in, they said they weren't taking anymore patients for the day & the last one taken is gonna be at 4:30. i checked my phone after the front desk lady said that & it was 4:30 exactly. she said come back tmrw at 4. i got frustrated especially because i have work so it's hard to go after work without there being a time crunch & i made it before they closed. i asked if i could just do the test really quick, she said "no, the techs will be leaving in a couple minutes." it didn't make sense considering the fact that it was only 4:30 & they close at 5. why are all the techs leaving so early?? today, i went again & my experience was a little better. they were pretty packed inside & this time i went with my boyfriend so he can help me navigate through the situation if they try to push me away again. we went to the front & i told them i was there for a drug screening. they said "unfortunately our system is down & we are short staffed so we're not doing anymore drug screenings today. come back again tmrw at 3:30" he mentioned that yesterday they said come back before 4. already it felt unprofessional that they were giving us different times everytime. with a room full of people, my boyfriend said "can't we get seen like the rest of these people?" & she said "yes but it'll probably be a wait, probably around 5:30" we said that was fine & waited. as far as the wait, it was quite a while but i'm glad i got seen. i'm not sure if it's the front desk ladies or the higher ups that make things so complicated & give different times to patients/people who need to be seen. i did get my test done. they still thankfully took me even though they were closed. aside from them trying to turn me away again & giving me a different time to come (more so the front desk ladies), the techs were really nice. everything was quick & fast as far as the screening process. i definitely wouldn't recommend this spot if you're looking for any care though. they all seem like they're rushing to get out by 5 which is frustrating because the healthcare field shouldn't be like that & the doctors/care providers should definitely leave it up to patients to choose whether they want to wait a while or go find care elsewhere. read more

Extremely Disrespectful and Unprofessional Customer Service I had an extremely frustrating and unacceptable experience with Concentra's Rocklin location. I called to reschedule an appointment and spoke with a representative named Luba, whose behavior was incredibly rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. She placed me on hold for an extended period twice. When she finally returned to the call, I had barely started explaining the reason for my call when she interrupted me mid-sentence and announced that she was transferring me to another department. Had she simply allowed me to finish speaking, she would have realized that the department she was transferring me to was not the appropriate one. After waiting on hold again, no one answered, and the call was eventually routed back to Luba. I then asked to speak with her manager, only to discover that the manager was unavailable as well. This is absolutely unacceptable customer service. Patients deserve to be treated with basic courtesy and respect, not interrupted, shuffled between departments unnecessarily, and left without assistance. The complete lack of professionalism, communication, and accountability demonstrated during this call was appalling. I strongly recommend avoiding this Concentra location if you expect respectful and competent customer service. Management needs to take these complaints seriously, address staff behavior, and provide proper customer service training. No one should have to deal with this level of disrespect simply to reschedule an appointment. read more

The waiting room is packed, and concentra has seen fit to install a television to loom over them at full volume. In a crowded waiting room, not one person is looking at the tv, they are all looking at their phones. I asked the receptionist if no one objected, and no one is watching could we at least turn it down. It stayed on and up. read more

The first call just rang and rang and rang and nobody answered. I immediately called back, and it rang and rang and rang and then someone at the desk picked the phone up from the receiver AND HUNG IT BACK UP just to stop the timing... I called back AGAIN and they finally answered and took my call. When I said "wtf" about what she did, her response was "I'm working on bettering that in me" Was this a freaking joke!? This was one of the more humiliating experiences I've had lately. I sacrificed nearly a day to try and get a physical done for employment at this place. After over four hours, I finally left. They were nearly complete with my physical examination. They drew my blood and I did a urinalysis and I did most of the physical but then they wanted me to wait another hour to see a physician so he could sign off on it. My wife and I entered this facility two hours ago, (we were the first to arrive at 7:15-45 minutes before they even opened) full of hope and happiness. She was promptly checked in and then... abandoned. Like a sock behind a dryer. Like Pluto from the list of planets. We watched as dozens of others--new arrivals, elderly hamsters, haunted X-ray machines, sentient office chairs--were whisked into rooms with the efficiency of a Chick-fil-A drive-thru. HIPPA violation !!!! I had to go here due to a work injury. They took me right in because I had a possible chemical burn so they led me to believe I would be seen right away. I sat in a room for over 3 hours! My phone had died during that time so I could not keep my husband updated. Finally the door opens and guess who it is? My husband! Nobody ever came and asked me if it was ok for him to be there. I would have said yes...but the point is - this is a major HIPPA violation, not to mention a safety issue. The person at the front desk gave out patient information. What if I was in an unsafe relationship and he was my abuser and they just let him in my room and shut the door? When I asked regarding status after 40 mins was told it will be 20 mins...still waiting an hour later. Went in at 8:05am for a physical. There were about 10 people ahead of me and the line went out the door into the parking lot. At this time, there was only one person checking people in. As the time passed, the staff arrived and another person helped check people in. I got to the front around 8:35am. I was called back around 8:50am and did my vitals. The doctor saw me within 5 min of that and I was done by 9:05am. I was prepared to wait there the whole day (according to the previous reviews), but overall the experience wasn't too bad. I say you know a piss test? She says what is that. How do you work at a doctors office and not know what this is. They take all my info make me wait 1 hour. After that hour they come up saying it will be 4 hours but you can drive to Lincoln and get seen at 8pm. I said no so they said come back in 4 hours. She gave me some bs excuse and said I should be called within another hour. I stepped outside, called my insurance and was given another urgent care closer to where I live so I left. Not even 10 minutes of leaving, Concentra called me to tell me they are ready to see me which I ignored their call. Once I got to the urgent care my insurance suggested, I was seen immediately. The receptionist at Concentra wasted my time by not communicating the situation. I'm thankful for the place I went to for the service was 100 times better. If you care about your health and well being, don't waste your time with Concentra or at least the Rocklin location. read more

if i could give negative stars i would. The professionalism has left the building not sure if it ever was here. I came in around 9-10am to get a prescription for pink eye . Firstly the front desk women are incompetent they took an hour just to check if my insurance would work here. Then proceeded to keep my license and insurance until I asked for it back.. which should never happen in what world should a patient ever have to ask for their information back let alone wait that long when it's a quick search in the system. Was then misinformed and advised it would be a 3 hour wait and with how the service had been so far I double downed on that time line she provided and asked her again ok it's a three hour wait still? Bad service from the start. People seem very unhappy and the time they take to talk or look at you is horrible. I came right at 8am when they open I was literally the first person here didn't get called in to a room till 10:05am. Now I'm in a room waiting another hour till doctor comes in to see me and ask me the same questions I've been asked. Take in mind I haven't ate breakfast and all I got was water and some pretzels. While doctor is talking with me a small boy around the age of 6-8yrs old comes in looking for mom which I had seen earlier walking in with one of the workers (not sure if nurse or doctor as well). I told them my arm had a contusion but still grabs my arm without any care in the world. This place is horrible, especially when they're trying to knock out everything in one day as far as a visit x-rays and then physical therapy as well. Don't recommend coming here at all. read more

This location used to be called US Healthworks but now it's been renamed Concentra Urgent Care. Came here for a TB test that I had to pay for out of pocket. It was relatively inexpensive (around $26-29?) compared to other locations I checked that wanted $70-80. Plenty of parking in this shopping center that is shared with Bel Air. Employees were friendly. They have a basket of snacks on the counter with pretzels, fruit snacks and crackers. That was a nice touch. I asked to grab a bag of pretzels on my visit because I had been fasting for another test I had to do earlier that morning. :) There was a bit of a wait since quite a few people were there. But everything went smoothly. Got the TB test administered and was told clearly when to come back for the recheck. Good to have a place close to home where I can get tests like this done. read more

Time to wait with appointment. I got an appointment for 1:15. At 2:15 they told me it will be another hour. Then they got me in within 15 minutes. The nurses assistant was super nice when I complained and it is an office management issue. I get you have emergency walk ins. But when I came after my accident it would have been such a long wait and I needed an MRI so I went to the hospital after 1/2hour. You guys need to organize your office and appointments better or you will keep getting bad reviews. It is rude to let people wait. 15 minutes is in the acceptable range but more than that and you are basically saying we don't care or respect you. read more

My rating for Concentra Clinic is zero stars. This clinic is not trusted and is like a night market (fish marketplace). The waiting time is 5 - 6 hours long, and the patient was examined by an incompetent, inexperienced Dr. Caroline Choi, who did not know how to do the exam nor what to ask the patient. Dr. Caroline Choi did the exam in 5 minutes or less and then sent the patient out. Dr. Caroline Choi also lied that Dr. Peter Heitke examined me, and I did not have the exam by Dr. Peter Heitke. Dr. Caroline Choi and the older Indian female assistant did not know their jobs or what they were doing. Think over ten times or more before going to Concentra Clinic. read more

Read the reviews. This place is terrible and would absolutely avoid coming here unless less absolutely necessary. I called ahead to inquire about anything and the receptionist told me the "wait time" was generally less that 30mins and that a service time depends. I have been here for two hours and they had nobody available for a physical, which I wasn't aware of or informed about. So if you need anything more than a drug test, I'd absolutely advise finding another location for your employer testing.
