A few months ago I…read morehad started having this pain in my hip, which slowly became a pain down my left leg, making it difficult for me to walk. I work standing up and I got to a point that not only could I not lift any weights and enjoy my workouts but I couldn't stand for any length of time. Eventually the pain got so bad that I couldn't sleep. This is when I knew that I needed to see a physical therapist. I chose to walk into Strive because a friend of mine had told me about them and they had really helped him as well. I walked and was immediately impressed with their nice clean facility. The front desk and they right away scheduled me for an evaluation appointment with their physical therapist, Jermaine, that same week. She sat down with me and listened to all my symptoms and quickly ran a series of test in an attempt to narrow down what exactly was going on. Of course I had googled my symptoms like we all do and tried the YouTube video treatments haha but I was glad to finally be in the hands of a professional. After she ran her test she determined that I might be dealing with a weak pelvic floor. She began her treatment giving a series of stretches and exercises that weren't going to make it worse and they seemed to help even just in that first session. Over the next couple weeks (I saw her twice per week) she slowly helped me progress to other exercises that were really helping strengthen my pelvic floor and my pain slowly began to improve. Every time I went in she asked me how I was doing and that helped me feel that she really cares about her patients. Here I am 5 weeks later and my pain is non-existent! I am so happy to be back to enjoying my everyday activities!

I was referred here by Kaiser, I believe it would have been cheaper to pay their hourly rate and not go through my insurance, somehow I was billed more than there advertised rates. Also, I've paid all my bills but randomly they will send me bills saying I still owe money. I just received another bill in September for something I paid in June. They always say it's a mistake but will continue to send me random bills. I'm sure lots of people just pay without doing the research. So if you do go here watch the bills because they will try to rip you off.

They were able to answer any questions we had such as how long is the session, can we sit in every session, how would I able to access the invoices to get refunded through HSA, and etc. Our son was assigned with Ms. Katlyn. Thankfully, he was comfortable around her and was easy to engage with her since I was worried how he would be due to not enough play dates. Ms. Katelyn is very helpful and able to answer any questions we may have. Also, she continue to guide us on what to model with him for each week. I'm glad they let me take pictures or videos of him during the session cause it allows me to see what improvements or what they do to help me remember what I need to do at home as well as share it with my husband since he has to work. It makes me feel comfortable knowing they allow that because if you don't it makes me think what are you trying to hide and who knows what you are doing IF I can't be in that session. My child's safety is a priority. Thankfully, I am or a relative able and will be in every session. There was a day that we were late by like 5 mins and I called the office to let them know, but they were understanding and even told me I had 15 mins to get here even if it's after the start time. I didn't want to miss the session because there could be a penalty fee or if you have too many miss session then they would have to cancel the whole therapy session and refer me back to my doctor. After being here for 4 months so far, we are seeing a drastic improvement with him. He is saying more words and doing well with his one step direction. I'm glad this was able to help him. The staff here are friendly and helpful on our every visit. There are plenty of parking spaces. I highly recommend this place.

The equine therapy provided by NDR has tremendously help my son in his autism journey. Not only they help him with the physical aspect of equine therapy, but his sessions also teaches him about compassion, patience, good work ethic, and responsibility. The team is passionate about what they do, and is really knowledgeable in dealing with kids with all sorts of physical and developmental disabilities.
