I sat in the waiting area for over an hour and a half. I watched people register after me and were processed before me. I signed in as soon as I arrived. After sitting for over half an hour, I noticed that people were being called up to fill out paperwork. I walked up to the receptionist and asked if I would need to fill out any paperwork. She handed a sheet to me to fill out. I filled in the blanks and returned it to her. I was told I had to pay the money up front, before any exam. I can tell you that in the past, I always paid upon completion of the exam. I paid and then I sat down. She asked it I had received a text message. Well, I hadn't. Soon, she gave me a stack of papers, but when I went through them, I was relieved that I only had to fill out 2 or 3 sheets. Disturbing to me on one of the sheets was the time that was noted for my arrival - it was the time that I asked about paperwork, not the time I signed in. That kinda ticked me off. So I brought it to the receptionist attention. She obviously could care less, probably because the time she entered was a CYA move. So that ticked me off even further. I watched 3 or 4 people get called up before me. Eventually I was the only person in the waiting area. Finally, I was called in for my exam. My vitals were taken. The doctor arrived shortly thereafter. He asked how I was doing and I told him that I was not pleased with what had just taken place with my being bypassed. I told him the time of my actual arrival and the time posted on the sheet in front of him. He was not pleased with what he heard. He completed my exam, and then offered his heart-felt apology. He asked me to go to the waiting area and he would take care of the matter. Soon, I heard his voice again - he called on me and said they would process my paperwork immediately. A nice lady, whom I assume is the office manager, took my paperwork, did what needed to be done, and in a short few minutes, I was on my way. I am a trucker - because of the delay, I missed my delivery appointment this afternoon and had to reschedule for tomorrow. I'm not a line jumper or someone who tries to get ahead of anyone else. But please don't continue to bypass me after I point out that an error was made. Thank you to Dr. Chong Yi for making things happen. Your efforts are much appreciated. read more

The paperwork process is streamlined through text message, and job injury visit results are electronic as well. I like that they have a physical therapy area in the same building, and they also have a medication dispensary, which both saved us a lot of time. I visited this urgent care while visiting MI from TX. We saw Dr. Abuel and he was so kind with my 19 year old son. My son had a foot abscess and needed to be lacerated due to an infection. I thought for sure we would have to go to the ER. We didn't wait long and the doctor was thorough in answering our questions. The whole staff was great. We really appreciated everything!! I got there at 12:26 and was rudely told that there were no more physicals for the day. I explained that I called and was completely disregarded. Filthy waiting room. Rude, dishonest staff. I went to Concentra today after suffering with a sore shoulder for the last few days. I believe I slept on it wrong. I have been to this location before and never had any issues. Today the doctor came in and he started talking about narcotics and he's not giving out narcotics. I was insulted I came in to make sure my shoulder was OK and to find out what I needed to get for it because I can't sleep. He was absolutely rude in my opinion. I was there for help not to be told repeatedly that he's not giving out narcotics. I was taken aback. I was just looking for some relief so I could get some sleep. He basically told me to see my regular doctor and if I really wanted to know what was wrong I would need an MRI and they're just an urgent care. They don't do that. I was just so frustrated. I felt like I was treated like somebody who was a drug addict. Never once did I ask for anything. He was just judging and I felt like I couldn't get the help I needed. read more

Sat in a waiting room for almost an hour without being checked on or given any water to drink which was frankly unprofessional but I'll check it up to staffing problems due to the covid communism forcing them to understaff medical facilities... PT specialist, doctor and nursing staff were extremely polite and professional and this is the sole reason I'm not going one-Star. Corporate: you need to get new BP machines for this location. We all know how big the profit margin is in the medical industry, so at least equip your people so they don't have to scramble to find a BP cuff. Also, you might want to work on communication between departments as my information got lost. Overall I'd definitely come back if I needed care but I do think corporate should loosen the purse strings for the sake of their staff and patients. read more

Dr. Chong Yi is an idiot. My significant other had a head injury. Dr Yi sent him to the hospital for CT scan to rule out a concussion. Turns out he does in fact have a concussion. Dr Yi discovers this and was beyond pissed because "concussion is just a word" and is making numerous ridiculous unnecessary appointments to waste time and try finding something else that could be wrong when we already know what's wrong. read more

Sloooooooow office. Receptionist is a moron; slow, unorganized, non smiling, definitely not a people person. Strange intake setup. Guy here for urgent carE is waiting just as long as DOT exams and pre-employment patients. Lobby is too small for number of patients and patient helpers. Offers coffee and water but no restrooms except for patients with required urinalysis. STUPID text intake after paperwork offers option to NOT use text. Receptionist was snobby about asking for a second (unwanted text) and provided a paper copy but never called us to pick it up to complete it. An hour later receptionist is loudly explaining how SOME people won't use the text intake process. It's an option and it's obvious the receptionist is lazy to not want to do her job, text or hardcopy. Piss poor medical dr at the front too unless he's a PA. Regardless I'm glad I'm not the patient. My preference is Concentra on Gratiot in Chesterfield. Hope they replace this idiot. read more

Went here for a standard pre-employment physical and drug screen yesterday. They were fine for what they are, but before I checked out afterward the "doctor" who examined me told me my blood pressure was 113 or 180 and that I should double up on bp medication and keep an eye on it. Well I never have had a bp reading like that. I called up the office today to confirm what my BP reading was and it actually was 113 over 64 which was fine. That doctor was a joke. He just went through the motions during my exam and then told me BS about my blood pressure. Why would a doctor who isn't your primary care physician tell you to double up on BP medication? Here's my impression regarding their handling of pre-employment physicals: THEY DON'T CARE. THEY HAVE A CLUELESS DOCTOR EXAMINING PEOPLE and employers should send their new hires somewhere else for pre-employment physicals. read more

People are nice. Otherwise I have been waiting over 2 hours for a simple work physical and flu shot and I am still here waiting my life away. They took many people in before me. It seems very unorganized. A lot of workers here but the flow of patients is so slow. All of the people are here for simple tests and not in any kind of medical distress. The Physical Therapy side is top notch, amazing! But if you are hoping to see a doctor good luck. They will make you wait 40 minutes when they are slow, and barely peek there head into the room to talk to you. Out of my 4 visits of "meeting with a doctor" I saw the doctor a combined total of less then 5 minutes. Wish I could separate the PT side, because again TOP NOTCH! they helped me answered my questions, and truly CARED! read more

I have been here three times. The doctors have been great and really nice. I was seen in a reasonable time frame. One time, I was seen for pre employment and all was well but the staff was very to the point and quiet besides telling me what they wanted me to do (besides the Dr). I came in I just needed to be looked at for something quick and easy. They handed me a clip board with paper work and had me go into a room and wait. Upon entering the room the lady said "someone will be in shortly" as they always say. 1 hour goes by and no one had ever come back to the room. I didn't want to be rude and pushy so I had waited because I know these places can be busy and slow and I figured it must not be my turn yet. Come to find out they had forgotten that I was in the room or the message was never delayed to any one else and this is why no one came back. I wish I could give this a 0 star rating as the office staff clearly do not care about someone's immigration status or understand how serious it could be. I was referred to this office from USCIS to get an immigration medical examination done (https://my.uscis.gov/findadoctor). The DR filled out the form incorrectly and did not follow important updates on the government's website. Due to the error at the office by the DR, I was DENIED my greencard at my interview and could face removal proceedings. When I went into the office to ask for a refund, I was denied a refund simply bc the form was filled but it was just "incorrectly done". This is a poor response. Furthermore, I was not given a completely new medical form, just a correction made which I requested to have a new form filled out because thats what the immigration office requested. This was a half job and is still incomplete. Please let me know how I can get a refund for a service that was NOT COMPLETED and my medical was rejected again due to not getting what they asked for in the first place. I do not trust this place to redo another medical for me because I am still denied my status due to the error at this office and doctor. read more
