I've been to other Concentra's. Usually a bad experience because they're not really approachable. Employees are usually mean. Which sucks because going to an urgent care is already uncomfortable, why make it worse with a bad experience. BUT THIS CONCENTRA LOCATION... hands down the BEST EXPERIENCE I've had. When I checked in, I thought I was going to not get greeted, boy was I wrong. Juan said , "How can I help you?". His other coworkers were approachable as well. It wasn't busy so we had a decent little talk. The music was great in the background. They found me in the system and they called me in within 10 minutes. The process was fast. I had a DOT drug test. Yessenia helped me out. The thing is, I urinated 2 times before I took the test so my pee was still building up. And I've been dehydrated from work. I usually urinate every 10-30 minutes or so. It took me about 4-5 tries of urinating enough for the sample and I was there for almost 2 hours. She also offered me water and I drank some of my own water as well. Yessenia was so patient with me and her and Juan were very encouraging even to the point that they let the faucet run so I could relax. Yessenia also listened to my concerns as well, I told her that I kept missing the cup. She gave me a toilet seat bowl along with the sample cup. It was a great solution. I got comfortable and I was able to urinate a little more into the sample cup. These gestures made by both of them helped me change my perspective about Concentra. There are people that care. They've set the bar high and they've set a new standard. I just wish this new standard was applied to all Concentra locations. read more

Despite the reviews i came to get a dot physical early monday morning. About half full but we moved fast and efficient. Seems like everyone was bringing their A game today. Great experience. Didnt wait long. Keep in mind their systems were down and they still did great! read more

WAITING OVER AN HOUR These incompetent rude ass front desk staff need to be retrained on how to communicate and deal with customers! I had appointment at 10:15am it's now 11:09 and I'm still waiting! I don't think they follow rules because the lady came in after me was called within 10 min and I'm still sitting here! I ask those incompetent employees they like they could be running behind. I'm like b....... I been sitting for an hour now wtf am I waiting on! I saw paramedics go to the back maybe a patient fainted due to waiting sooo dam! Idk This is ridiculous and my patience is running on thin ice! This doesn't make any sense and I'm about to leave in one minute! That means I been waiting for an hour! I have an appointment what is the purpose of having an appointment that was scheduled three weeks ago if I have to come in like a "new patient " and wait my day away???? Was sent by my prospective employer for drugs and physical but was appalled by the professionalism of the aide (Mary). She asked me to breath in and out several times before taking my BP, and when the diastolic and systolic came out high she complained, so I asked her if that wasn't the idea of asking me to apply breath in and out. A few days later, the employer called me to ask that I go back to provide urine samples because they couldn't read the previous ones I'd provided. Upon my arrival, the front office staff called Mary and I asked her what was wrong with the previous samples which were deep yellow in color. She claimed that my samples were diluted because I'd drunk a lot of water before providing the pee, which was a big fat lie. I was out driving lyft from 6 a.m before stopping at the location. I've heard of pee swapping before but never thought it would happen to me. read more

Takes far too long. I needed blood work from a work injury, had to come back for the doctor to tell me I'm good. Then I am told to wait for a copy of my results. 20 minutes waiting in the lobby at 11am on a Monday for a copy of my own blood work, then when I ask the lady says she can send it to my email. Front counter staff is great and the therapist are great , my issue is with the Doctors! They are not wanting to bothered but ask you several questions and don't listen when you answer them or dismiss anything you say. You see one Dr. the whole time you are going and then on your last visit she doesn't even see you , she sends in another Dr to just look at your file and say ok you can go to the lobby again. Then 30 minutes later you get your paperwork from the front counter and they tell you your released. Why couldn't the doctor tell me that when he walked in for maybe a minute. I don't recommend them at all!!! read more

If 0 stars was possible I'd rate it that. The doctors don't care and don't want to help. Always have bad attitudes and will try and snap at you if you even think about questioning them. It doesn't matter what you feel they're send you on your way feeling worse than when you came. Worst "care" I've ever experienced. I dread ever having to come here. The wait was over two hours and there were probably less than 10 people in the waiting room. The one nurse was very friendly but other than that, my experience was terrible. The one nurse couldn't get the computer to work and forgot what questions to ask me (like medical history, medications... etc). My injury happened on a Friday and I waited to come in until Monday to see if it would feel better itself before going to the doctors. The doctor had the audacity to ask me if I waited to come in because it was the weekend and I wanted to do other things. It was a work injury, so I had to come here. I would honestly never go there again. When she mentioned a follow up appointment, I immediately dreaded doing this all over again. Please go somewhere else! read more

Don't get me wrong the nursing and front desk staff are amazing, very kind and attentive. However the doctor is tremendously rude, first off didn't introduce himself, didn't listen to my problems and then invalided my pain. After X-rays he walked in handed me an ice pack and said you're fine you can walk. I was stunned, if I could walk without pain or risk of collapse don't you think I would. I work in the healthcare field, and I know providers can get very busy - especially in urgent care. But you should still focus on the patient care. I wanted to know the results of some labs that I did, and the provider Cynthia Goff did not even want to take the time to talk to me for 2 minutes. These are sensitive labs, so I would rather a provider share the info. And she wasn't even seeing a patient, so 2 minutes of her time was not going to end the world. Also, the provider who saw me for that visit only spent 5 minutes with me. She didn't even want to give me a referral to see a psychiatrist because she didn't want to be "responsible for keeping up with my diagnosis." I'll add her name tomorrow. I spent more time with the nurse talking about my issues and they don't even get paid well. It's really sad. I've worked with hundreds of providers, and most really care about the patients. I didn't feel that way with these two. FYI, this is not the only area I'm writing a review. read more

Their wait time, back and forth and customer service. I got there at 10am didnt see someone until 1230pm. went to the back only to be told to go back to my car for an unknown amount of time. I asked for a refund and latasha at the front desk was like "did you snatch that?". Entire place is trash. Will never go back. I honestly don't know why everyone complains about this place? I don't think it's horrible? The staff there is so sweet and are very patient. The place is always clean and a welcoming environment! The only problem I have is it takes forever to get back there after you checked in, but I think that's fairly common at doctors offices. read more

This place is horrible! The nurses care more than the P.A's theres a black Woman physician assistant and she is just terrible! Very dismissive! Its like she gets off on denying you help for issues you may have! I seen her in january 2021 she told me I was not in pain and she was not gonna do anything to help it... this is a work comp case so here we are 12/21 I had surgery on my shoulder because i had a tear in my labrum but this lady caused me to suffer because she didnt examine me as she should have... i see why she is just a doctors assistant!! Sux! Waited 2hrs to be seen. Many people that came after me got seen before me. I was the next to last person to be seen. They preferred to see people with work comp claims for piss tests and physicals before treating people actually sick. Absolutely the worst experience I've had at an urgent care facility. I arrived 15 minutes prior to open because I wanted to make I would be seen quickly. I then waited in line with 6 other individuals at the door for an additional 15 minutes, as the "person in charge of the keys forgot them at home". We waited for said person to arrive. Once arriving waited 15 mins to get to the front desk. Mind you there were 5 of us at this point, as some one left because of the utter bull shit. I submitted my paperwork with an error on my part (I had my old insurance card) so for an hour I waited. Only to inquire and be told my insurance wasn't working. Anyone who knows about insurance knows the first thing to check is the effective date, clearly it states 2017. In the time it took for me to point that out and give my correct information I could have been seen. I was told then 3 physicals were in front of me and 2 lacerations. Mind you I have a swollen open wound and my numbness had spread from my finger to my whole arm, I was lightheaded and had yet to be seen. Only 1 patient came in after the initial 5 of us, and they were seen before me. Ugggh. I was told the lacerations were more of a priority, hunny a laceration is a fancy word for a cut. I know medical terminology... so there cut is more important than my open pus filled wound... that is swelling. Ok bet. I could have caused a scene but I didn't I calmly say down. Tried my best but the pain got too much and I was hangry. Anyways long rant over I got my money back and left. I guess my finger will fall off... who knows but it's the principle of the matter my friends and I feel greatly wronged . Stay away from this useless place. Make the drive to a place with more competent staff. Half a star! If I could! Shame on you people! read more

Don't risk your life going to this place! Doctor saw me for max of 5 minuets. I was prescribed medicine and left and went to pick up my medicine. Turns out it was something I'm allergic too. Allergic to the point that I would have been hospitalized if it was not for the pharmacy!! I called them to ask why I was prescribed this medicine and the lady on the phone said she had no record of being allergic to any medicine. The first thing the nurse did after taking my weight was ask what medicine I was allergic too! Then she started making jokes with other employees around her while I was in her care. I came in with a laceration on my finger and was taken immediately to receive stitches. I received great care from a technician, doctor, and a nurse. I was out within an hour! They accepted my blue cross insurance. Definitely a great experience, much better than I was thinking it would be! read more

I only give this location one-star because the zero is not an option. The doctor (Bart Crosby) is slow, usually when they say it's a 2.5 hour wait they mean from check in to walk out. I waited 2.5 hours to get BP checked and it took another hour to get back to see the physician, when he came into the room he informed me that he was going to give me antibiotics and not do the procedure because he was working alone and he'd seen 35-40 patients today. He wanted to examine me just so he could keep my copay but I refused and got my $50 back. This exhibits poor communication amongst the staff, they should know what the doctors are comfortable doing when they are the only one working. So I spent nearly 4 hours at the clinic without being treated...I am extremely disappointed with my experience here. The nice new appearance means nothing if patients are being treated like this! read more

I went to this Concentra due to sudden and severe low back pain. After checking in, I sat on a hard plastic chair in the lobby for an hour. Then I was taken back and had my weight and blood pressure checked. I was put in an exam room and told that my wait would be about 30 minutes. THREE hours later (almost closing time), the doctor finally came in. There was no communication from anyone with me during those three hours and I was in too much pain to advocate for myself. The doctor gave me a very perfunctory 60-second exam, then wrote a prescription for a pain reliever and a muscle relaxant. He could not have been less interested in me. On the way out the door, as an afterthought, he stuck his head back in and said "Do you want a Toradol shot?" I know from experience that Toradol can very quickly reduce one's pain level but being almost out of my mind with pain (and not being a medical professional), I hadn't thought to ask for it. When I checked in, there were only about five people in the lobby. Even if the doctor spent more time with each of them, I can't imagine why it took FOUR hours to get to me. Even harder to understand is why there was no communication whatsoever with me regarding the extremely long delay. In the end, I spent a total of four hours sitting on hard plastic chairs...absolutely the last thing a person with low back pain should be doing. It would have been SO easy for them to give me the Toradol shot as soon as I got there; then the wait would not have been so hard to bear. Concentra....I know you were short-staffed that day and the doctor mentioned having computer problems but how on earth can you justify such poor service? Why wasn't some triage done earlier so that I could have had that shot and saved HOURS of excruciating pain???? You have a beautiful facility but there is no excuse for the lack of communication and disinterested medical care. read more

Horrible service. The staff is disorganized and unprofessional. This was the closest clinic that takes my insurance which I will promptly be changing the first of November. Coming here I truly see how difficult having poor insurance makes things. I came several weeks ago, waited 2 hours, and paid $75 to meet with Dr. Bart Crosby. He only met with me briefly and prescribed meds. My condition improved but never cleared. Several weeks later I went back, paid another $75, and waited 3 hours only to meet with Dr. Crosby again. He prescribed the same medication which did not work at all the second time. When I called to tell them I wasn't getting better the inept receptionist told me I would need to spend another $75 to see them again. They didn't take my name, inquire about my condition or express any concern regarding the fact my condition had not improved. They just wanted my money. read more
