He's extremely professional, has a great demeanor & delivers the content in a clear-to-understand manner. He's also fantastic with kids (he does a kids handgun safety course, as well as other adult handgun classes). In his home, it's a more intimate environment as he limits headcount. This allows for more absorption of the class content and important safety guidelines. Live fire after class is right in his backyard. His flexibility, cost and delivery all make Michael a great choice for your CC Training.

Michael Pegram & Jared did a GREAT job and made me feel right at ease. Whether it was familiarizing beginners with the fundamentals of gun safety, teaching how to wisely think defensively, or making sure we knew NC gun control laws, each part of the day trained me FAR better than when I walked in. Not once did I ever feel out of my league or silly for asking questions. Awesome instructors, awesome class. If you're wanting your concealed carry, this is the class for you!

Yet, I had a penchant for attracting gun collectors and merchants. Guns have always been a part of my life. After taking his beginner and introduction gun class, I was impressed with his simple, calm, and easy to understand instructions. He, also, put a lot of emphasis on gun safety and maintenance. Safety is my biggest concern. My girl friend carried a gun in her car at 16 but was not well instructed in gun safety. What happened with her gun always haunted me to this day. I cleaned a gun for the first time in my life in his class. I took his class at a private residence and shot at an indoor shooting range. I used a semi automatic Smith & Wesson Bodyguard hand gun. I would highly recommend Bobby Blanton as a gun instructor. His class was very memorable and the hours flew by quick.

I would definitely recommend this course for any and all levels of firearm expertise seeking their certification in CCW or for just a refresher training.

Donnie and Ernie are consummate professionals whose extensive real-world experience lends credibility to their training. They also have enough insight to recognize that students arrive with widely varying skill levels and prior exposure. Their blocks of instruction are thoughtfully sequenced and clearly articulated, allowing trainees to absorb complex material at a manageable pace while progressively building confidence. Although some of the curriculum set forth by PPSB is a bit cumbersome, they organized the content to fit within the three-day format. The standard is the standard and no shortcuts or "gimmies" are given, but even novice shooters can achieve it by paying attention and applying the principles. Of note, the discussion of physiological responses under acute stress definitely helped on practice day. Unlike similar courses I've attended in years past where instructors project an air of bravado, Donnie and Ernie struck an ideal balance: personable, engaging, and approachable while maintaining an unwavering seriousness about safety. This fosters a relaxed but focused learning environment that greatly benefits folks with lesser experience. This PPSB-compliant armed security training prioritizes genuine safety, skill development, and student success over ego. PTA is top-shelf! God bless the both of you gents. Ed

From the front desk to the students working on the floor, the whole team is warm and personable, creating a welcoming and upbeat environment. It's clear the students are passionate about their craft; they are raring to learn and practice their skills, which really adds a buzz to the atmosphere. A huge positive is the professional organization of the floor. Every student takes pride in their workspace--everyone keeps their station neat and tidy, which speaks volumes about the training they're receiving. Transparency is also excellent: the price list for services and all available retail products are prominently displayed. While I haven't personally had a chance to get any services yet, based on the cleanliness and careful instruction I observed, I would absolutely trust them with a non-chemical procedure like a deep conditioning treatment, simple braiding services or a blowout. On the client side, my relatives recently had a pedicure here and were happy with the results.
