A wonderful young man named, Melvin assisted me in the Coralville Best Buy. I told him the computer I wanted buy , he immediately went in the back and bingo! appeared with the computer. He was very helpful & knowledgeable. Everything was great. Then I went to the Geek Squad area to see about getting my old data transferred to the new computer. The fellow wanted me to leave it for 2-3 days. I said no way! When I bought computer direct from Apple in the past, they would transfer the data.....instantly right after the purchase. So, I left with both computers. If you're buying something.......get Melvin. Then if you need service go elsewhere.

Unbelievably horrible customer service system. You cannot speak to a local person to straighten…read moreout the mess... All they have is a useless AI system and a chat bot. We had a TV scheduled for installation tomorrow and cannot find out what is going on.. If you do reach an"agent" who has to check with two other people while you are on hold, after hours manipulating the system they don't know anything, offer to call back but calls don't come through. Not sure what my next move will be, but we re-scheduled several medical appointments to be home tomorrow for a delivery they apparently have not heard of....

Another technician would have charged three or four times as much. The way he searched patiently for solutions showed that he took pride in his work and genuinely enjoyed his work. I dropped my gaming desktop computer off after it had completely die. The repair took about a few…read moredays. He let me know the computer was fixed, then asked if I would let him clean the PC for an extra $50. I said sure, since he already had it. I didn't think it would take too long, but he sat on it for an extra month. I texted him asking the status of the computer after waiting 30+ days. No reply. I texted and called a week later telling him to get his shit together. He finally did, and I picked up the computer a few days later. Then, the computer died again after a few weeks. Peter is the perfect name for you, because you are a massive dickhead. Complete waste of money.
