I took it over to Steve's at 2pm on a Saturday. Not only was the shop open, he helped me personally, He told me if it's an easy fix he'll do it immediately and I can take it home. If it was more complicated, I'd have to wait for the diagnosis Mon or Tues. I knew there was a bios setting that might fix the problem. Steve got in fast and fixed it. I took it home and plugged it in... PROBLEM SOLVED! This allowed me to sell the laptop the same day! AND he waived the $85 diagnostic fee! I was happy to learn they work on Macs (my daily driver), PCs or Linux machines. They do all sorts of repair, recovery, upgrades and new builds. When I was there, they were working on 2 seriously tricked out gaming PCs. It's hard to keep a small business running, and it's hard to find honest independent computer repair shops.
