BEWARE not a good company to do business with !!!!! Hi, I'd be very wary of all the friendly chat hat computer heroes give you. I recently took my son's laptop to their home based premises and was given a friendly welcome. I explained the problem and asked for a quote as my son was going to be the one who paid for the repair, no problem, I'll call you tomorrow with the cost i was reassured with this response. No one rang back and so I called to be told So sorry we had an urgent repair for another client but I will have a price and call you back in the morning. No one called and in the afternoon I called but no-one answered. The following afternoon still having not received a call, I rang and was told that a repair had been done. I mentioned that I had required a quotation before the repair and was told that as they had taken the laptop apart they felt that they might as well do a repair there and then. I was then asked how much I would like to pay??? I explained once again how I had requested a quote first and I had not requested for them to do a repair. In the end I agreed a price and when picking up the laptop the proprietor was rude about me and my son. Beware of this company as smooth talking proprietors don't always deliver. My computer developed a problem that I had no idea how to solve. I telephoned Computer Heroes at 9.15am. I was telephoned back at 9.30am and by 10 o'clock an engineer was at my house. The problem was solved quickly and efficiently. The service I received from Computer Heroes was second to none and I would thoroughly recommend them. I have used Computer Heroes in the past to set up my computer and have always received a courteous reception from engineers and from any telephone calls that I have made.
