I know I genetically have bad dental hygiene but I brush my teeth everyday and use fluoride, so I found this very surprising, especially with my young age (younger than 18). But I went along with it anyways. I get my first set of fillings and I'm sore for 2 weeks and the fillings are not even with my other teeth heigh wise. I go in another time and get two more, these weren't as bad but they also were not even. The next time I go in I get three done and an X-ray. I asked them that time what was going on with my teeth because no one had explained anything about the condition of my teeth or what I should be doing differently to improve them, and by this point I'm feeling like all of this is a scam. I ask and I get told that I don't take enough care of my teeth and shown on the x-ray that all the little spots between all of my teeth (that I can't see nor understand) are spots that will begin to decay that I need to take care of. Why hadn't I been told of this the first time I went in? Why was I not briefed of my health every appointment? And to put the cherry on top, I recently had my wisdom teeth extracted. I was half awake throughout the surgery (which is usually normal as it was a "twilight sedation" but I should have been more out of it) and they didn't numb me enough. I remember feeling them cutting into gums and extracting two of my teeth. They asked if I was in pain after the extraction and I told them I had pain on my lower right side, they gave me two shots that did absolutely nothing besides make me feel worse. I screamed and wailed in pain the entire hour drive home. We called the dentist and they kept repeating that "the girls are usually emotional. She's just being emotional," completely ignoring me and assuming I'm being irrational. I, in fact, was not "emotional", I was in excruciating pain. Thank God my mother had pain medication that I could take. They gave me ibuprofen for the day of and stronger meds that could be filled the next day (they were post dated so they could not be filled the day of my extraction). Once my mother gave me some meds, I slept for two hours when I got home and was awake for the rest of the day. Indicating that I was not drugged enough as I should've been knocked out for most of the day. Later on in the day I found electrodes that were forgotten on my stomach and chest. They were so strong they pulled off pieces of my skin. Needless to say, I will never be going to this place. Their services are horrible and they only care to line their pockets. I will be advising everyone I know to stay away from this place and I hope anyone who reads this does not make the same poor decision I did.
