I also don't understand why every parking lot says staff parking with only one small row for students. It's ridiculous and we need more lots for just students and not staff because there's no way there's more staff here than students. We can't even park in the public neighborhood without getting tickets. The structure is always full as well.

It was incredible to see all of the new software, isotopes, treatments and scanners and meet with the professionals showcasing them. The networking at this event was unmatched. A big shoutout to NP college for giving students like me the opportunity to meet professionals working in the field and network at events like these. Being able to do my classes online has been a huge help in managing a work life school balance. It's so convenient to be able to do my classes at home. I love being at a school where the professors really care about their students and are passionate about what they do. Dr. Charles Glover is one of those professors you can tell how passionate he is about Nuclear Medicine and how much he loves teaching and is always there to help us and wants us to ask questions. He will take the extra time you need if you fall behind or you're not understanding a concept. That means so much to the students.

Ms. Morgan started my experience here and Ms. A became our permanent instructor for both class and lab. During lab, we had all 3 instructors Ms. Morgan, Ms. A, and Ms. Wu. I attended the weekly lab that they offer every Thursday for students to attend and excel in their scanning. The instructors were patient, they were kind and most of all they always aimed for me to be the best that I could be so that I was prepped and ready for externship. Communicating with them came easy whether it was emails I was sending over the weekend, or in person when I was struggling with understanding the material. When it came to Miss Wendy, she has been so busy with running back and forth from both Long Beach and Anaheim campuses, I have no idea how she has the time and patience for all of us. She's always super positive and it's been really easy to approach her and talk to her as well. Right now Miss Wendy and I have been putting together the resume that I will be using to apply for jobs after my externship. This program was HARD but the instructors are always there to help. I feel a great sense of gratitude that I took a chance on myself and went back to school after my 30's and done having kids. If you join this program here at Long Beach, you are in good hands.

After reviewing everything, I felt the program was much more expensive than I expected. I ended up enrolling in a tuition-free Pharmacy Technician program through a local adult school instead. To my surprise they offer a lot of options in the medical field tuition free If you're considering this school, I recommend asking for a full breakdown of tuition and fees and comparing it with other programs in your area before making a decision.
