There is also a young nurse that works at both locations that has short red hair who always has a HORRIBLE attitude! She never smiles or talks to you. I asked one of the nurses at Lawrenceville about her and she knew exactly who she was. There is a horrible attitude problem at the Johns Creek location. Dr Bui seems like a nice doctor but the Johns Creek staff almost makes me want to go somewhere else. Ortho Atlanta has great doctors but a horrible staff, especially at the John's Creek location especially Maranda. Please fix your problems before you lose 2 patients which includes my wife who Dr Vekaria who just replaced both of her knees.

So I heard these guys are experts, so I decided to give them a try. I was seen first by the fellow (out of medical school and doing their Fellowship year in training) then followed by Dr. Jayanthi. I will say they spent quite a bit of time with me, but unfortunately that did not yield any solid answers. He suggested I may have an atypical presentation of compartment syndrome, and said there's a test for that, but he wasn't sure the amount, and honestly after spending as much as I have, I don't want to go through a test that isn't likely to yield findings. I felt he was somewhat grasping at what it could be, and all he was able to tell me is it's an exertional problem. Well, I already knew that. I have symmetrical strength and function on both sides until I try to run. I even walk evenly. That's what is so frustrating. He did do an ultrasound to look for masses/cysts and found nothing. So all in all, with two physicians evaluating, they could't come up with a diagnosis but said PT at this point is futile since they don't know what to fix yet. He said they were going to contact me about the next test, but no one has, and I am not sure I'm going to even do it anyway. It's back to the drawing board for me.

I asked him point-blank: "Do you think this has anything to do with a Baker's cyst? I've had them 3-4 times before, but it never spread into my calf." He looked me in the face and said, "No." Guess what? It was a Baker's cyst. So, either he didn't know what he was talking about, or he just didn't care. Meanwhile, I was in excruciating pain and just needed something--whether it was the meloxicam (which wasn't available until Monday morning) or ANYTHING to get some relief. Instead, I had to go to another doctor, who actually helped me by prescribing prednisone, which finally gave me some relief. And let's talk about the lies. Y'all told me Dr. Potts doesn't do knee replacements. If that's true, fix his online info because that's false advertising. You told me you called in my meloxicam, but guess what? You waited THREE DAYS to do it. Why? Now, you're trying to get rid of me after I've been seeing Dr. Potts for 2.5 years? What did I do to deserve this? I've had conversations with him about growing up around Jimmy Andrews, about vacationing and duck hunting with them. And now y'all want to treat me like I don't matter? And another thing--Mr. Deep had the nerve to pull up my X-rays and tell me my knee isn't quite "bone on bone," so I shouldn't be in this much pain. Excuse me??
