Before my appointment, I completed all of the required forms through the patient portal. At no point did anyone from the office contact me to explain what I needed to bring or verify that everything was in order. Since most insurance companies no longer issue physical insurance cards, I had already uploaded my insurance information and ID through the portal. When I arrived for my appointment, I was told there was an issue with my insurance and that I couldn't be seen. The staff was not helpful in explaining the problem or offering a solution. I called my insurance company while I was in the office, and they confirmed that, based on my plan, I should have been able to see any provider. Instead of helping resolve the issue, the office created unnecessary obstacles that ultimately prevented me from being seen. I wasted 30 minutes of my day and left without receiving any care. My experience with the front office and customer service was extremely disappointing. Before scheduling an appointment here, I would recommend making sure every insurance detail has been verified in advance, because the office does not appear to do this proactively. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this practice.

I went into the office to be examined and was sent home without a soothing salve or ointment and told to wear no panties and only dresses. I laid on my couch for 2 weeks and called once again for help. Upon my next visit, Dr Heroux insisted that I take an oral antibiotic called Clyndomyacin and I explained that my stomach cannot tolerate any antibiotics and she insisted that I take just a few. The few put me in the hospital and I reached out to Dr. Herbst stating what the prescribed antibiotic did and he said that he had never heard that an antibiotic would affect someone's stomach. That statement made me furious because the list of side effects did mention gastrointestinal problems. After being released from the hospital, I received a call from Dr. Herbst asking if I was going to go into the office for a checkup -- I responded that I wouldn't go into his office if he paid me to do so. The unprofessionalism was uncalled for and denying my hospitalization due to the antibiotic was a head spinner.

I was mistaken. After being reasonably upset about him (Dr. Greenblatt) and his office staff (Heather specifically) not following through with previous promises in past conversations and their lack of trying to accommodate a persons needs Dr Greenblatt then intern fired me as a patient. When firing a patient you should at least have the courage to speak with them in person and not through a text message in addition it is technically illegal to fire a patient that way. In no way did I EVER raise my voice or be verbally abusive or disrespectful to any of the staff members. I only clearly voiced my opinion. When speaking with Sophie (the medical assistant) she was completely understanding about my predicament and willing to help. Obviously in my opinion what we have here is a very immature new doctor that lacks compassion or empathy for people or their emotions. YOU have gone into the wrong profession. Do better!!!
